Description

    CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS
  • This application is based on and claims the benefit of priority from Taiwanese Patent Application No. 104218849, filed on Nov. 24, 2015, the contents of which are incorporated by reference.
  • FIELD
  • The present invention relates to a color palette, and more particularly to a color palette that is specifically used for nail polish.
  • BACKGROUND
  • In the pursuit of physical beauty, more and more women are painting their fingernails and toenails with different colors of nail polish, or in addition, affixing rhinestones, sequins and other decorative objects to increase the aesthetics of the nails. Users are required to drip the different colors of nail polish onto a nail polish palette before painting their nails. However, with current technology, the nail color palette is a flat plate, making it prone for different colors of adjacently placed nail polish mixing together unintentionally, or for other neighboring nail polish to be mixed in accidentally while blending.
  • Therefore, the invention of a nail polish color palette that can separate different colors of nail polish and at the same time be used for mixing different colors of nail polish is an issue yet to be addressed urgently in this domain.
  • SUMMARY
  • In view of the flaw of the current technology, the purpose of the invention is to provide a nail polish color palette that utilizes a plurality of first grooves for placing different colors of nail polish.
  • In order to achieve the purpose above, this invention provides a color palette made of one body that comprises a plate, a plurality of first grooves and a peripheral wall. The plurality of first grooves is disposed on the plate, and the peripheral wall is connected to the plate.
  • Preferably, the palette further comprises a base which is connected to the side of the peripheral wall opposite to the side connected to the plate.
  • Preferably, the plurality of the first grooves is equally spaced on the plate.
  • Preferably, the palette further comprises a second groove in the shape of an elongated strip on the plate.
  • More preferably, the second groove is adjacent to the plurality of the first grooves.
  • Preferably, the palette further comprises a raised convex which is disposed on the surrounding edge of the body.
  • Preferably, the raised convex comprises a minimum of one third groove, which is disposed on the side of the convex opposite to the base.
  • More preferably, the minimum of one third groove comprises four third grooves, and these four third grooves are disposed in pairs.
  • During nail painting, users can drip different colors of nail polish respectively into the plurality of first grooves on this invention of the color palette, and then from the plurality of the first grooves draw out the nail polish with a brush to be painted onto the nails. Alternatively, users may mix different colors of nail polish in the plurality of the first grooves in one of these grooves, then paint the nail polish onto the nails. Therefore, the plurality of the first grooves is convenient for users in separating or mixing the different colors of nail polish, which resolves the issue presented by current nail polish palettes where different colors of adjacently placed polish are mixed easily.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS
  • {FIG. 1} is the three-dimensional presentation of first embodiment of the palette of the current invention;
  • {FIG. 2} is the three-dimensional presentation of second embodiment of the palette of the current invention;
  • {FIG. 3} is the three-dimensional presentation of third embodiment of the palette of the current invention; and
  • {FIG. 4} is the three-dimensional presentation of fourth embodiment of the palette of the current invention.
  • DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS
  • The following embodiment is illustrative of the invention and presents more clearly the scope of the invention. The embodiment shall not in any way be construed as limiting the scope of the patent application.
  • Referring to FIG. 1, the first embodiment of this invention of the color palette comprises body 10 in the shape of a square and comprises plate 11, plurality of first grooves 12, peripheral wall 13 and base 14. Plurality of first grooves 12 is disposed on plate 11. Peripheral wall 13 is connected to plate 11. Base 14 is connected to the side of peripheral wall 13 opposite to the side connected plate 11, and is also connected to peripheral wall 13. In another embodiment, plurality of first grooves 12 is equally spaced on plate 11.
  • When using this invention, users can drip different colors of nail polish respectively into plurality of first grooves 12, and based on the users' needs, draw out the nail polish with a brush to be painted onto the nails from plurality of first grooves 12. Alternatively, users may mix different colors of nail polish in plurality of first grooves 12 in one of the first grooves 12 before painting the nail polish onto the nails.
  • Referring to FIG. 2, the second embodiment of this invention of the color palette is similar to the first embodiment. It comprises second groove 15 in the shape of an elongated strip on plate 11. The direction of the depression of second groove 15 is the same as the direction of the depression of first groove 12. In the specific embodiment, second groove 15 is adjacent to plurality of first grooves 12. Second groove 15 can be used to place the nail painting brush.
  • Referring to FIG. 3, the third embodiment of this invention of the color palette is similar to the first embodiment. It comprises raised convex 16 which is disposed on the surrounding edge of body 10 and connects to peripheral wall 13, forming groove 17 between plate 11 and raised convex 16. When users drip different colors of nail polish into plurality of first grooves 12, or mix different colors of nail polish in plurality of first grooves 12, raised convex 16 can block the nail polish in plurality of first grooves 12 from flowing out, and directs the nail polish that flowed out to groove 17, thereby preventing it from reaching the flat surface of body 10.
  • Referring to FIG. 4, the fourth embodiment of this invention of the color palette is similar to the third embodiment. Raised convex 16 further comprises a minimum of one third groove 161 which is disposed on the side of the convex 16 opposite to peripheral wall 13. The direction of the depression of the minimum of one third groove 161 is the same as the direction of the depression of first groove 12. In the specific embodiment, the minimum of one third groove 161 comprises four third grooves 161 which are disposed in pairs. The minimum of one third groove 161 can be used to place the nail painting brush.
