Description
- This document relates to the technical field of (and is not limited to) an apparatus including a wallet card assembly supporting a cleaning fabric.
- A cleaning cloth is a cloth used for cleaning objects, such as eyeglasses, etc.
- It will be appreciated that there exists a need to mitigate (at least in part) at least one problem associated with the existing cleaning cloths (also called the existing technology). After much study of the known systems and methods with experimentation, an understanding of the problem and its solution has been identified and is articulated as follows:
- The problem with existing technology is that, for the case where the user is travelling (mobile), the cleaning fabric is not readily available for the user. It would be beneficial to store the cleaning cloth in a convenient location while the user is mobile (for the case where the cleaning cloth is not needed or not used for cleaning an object, such as eyeglasses, etc.). When travelling, the user may require the cleaning cloth for cleaning, for instance, eyeglasses. Currently, the cleaning cloth is not supported (stored) is a reasonable or convenient manner while the user is mobile (travelling). When the user is mobile, most often the user carries a wallet. For instance, it would be desirable or convenient to be able to store the cleaning cloth in the wallet of the user (so that the cleaning cloth may be movable into and out from the wallet and any equivalent of the wallet). In this arrangement, the user may have convenient access to the cleaning cloth when needed by the user while the user is mobile.
- To mitigate, at least in part, at least one problem associated with the existing technology, there is provided (in accordance with a major aspect) an apparatus. The apparatus includes a cleaning fabric and a wallet card assembly supporting the cleaning fabric. The wallet card assembly is sized in such a way that the wallet card assembly is movable into and out from a card slot defined by a card compartment provided by a wallet while the wallet card assembly supports the cleaning fabric.
- Other aspects are identified in the claims.
- Other aspects and features of the non-limiting embodiments may now become apparent to those skilled in the art upon review of the following detailed description of the non-limiting embodiments with the accompanying drawings.

FIG. 1 depicts a perspective view of an embodiment of anapparatus 100 including a cleaningfabric 102 and awallet card assembly 104. - In accordance with the embodiments of the FIGS., the
apparatus 100 includes (and is not limited to) a synergistic combination of the cleaningfabric 102 and thewallet card assembly 104. Thewallet card assembly 104 supports (at least in part) the cleaningfabric 102. Thewallet card assembly 104 is sized in such a way that thewallet card assembly 104 is movable into and out from acard slot 900 defined by acard compartment 902 provided by a wallet 904 (while thewallet card assembly 104 supports the cleaning fabric 102). For instance, thewallet card assembly 104 may include a plastic component that may be manufactured by an injection molding system injecting a plastic molding material into a mold that forms thewallet card assembly 104 or by a 3D printing system. Thewallet card assembly 104 may include a metal component that may be manufactured by a metal stamping process. For the case where thewallet card assembly 104 includes a metal component, thewallet card assembly 104 is planar-shaped and relatively stiff (and not so much resiliently deformable). It is preferred that thewallet card assembly 104 is resiliently deformable. However, if thewallet card assembly 104 includes a metal alloy, it will be appreciated that thewallet card assembly 104 is characterized in that thewallet card assembly 104 is relatively stiff and not so much relatively deformable. In general terms, thewallet card assembly 104 is not prone to breakage and is flexible (within a given acceptable tolerance for the material that is used in the wallet card assembly 104). For the case where thewallet card assembly 104 includes a metal component, the metal component may be very thin yet relatively strong. Preferably, thewallet card assembly 104 non-adhesively supports the cleaning fabric 102 (in accordance with a preferred option); specifically, thewallet card assembly 104 is not glued to the cleaningfabric 102. In accordance with another option (if so desired), thewallet card assembly 104 adhesively supports the cleaning fabric 102 (that is, thewallet card assembly 104 is glued to the cleaning fabric 102). Thewallet card assembly 104 may include a single unitary body or may include body sections that are snap fitted (securely connected) to each other, etc. - The definition of the
wallet 904 includes any device that is carried by the user, in which thewallet 904 provides thecard compartment 902 that defines thecard slot 900. Thewallet 904 includes, for instance, a handbag, a purse, a pocketbook, a man's wallet and any equivalent thereof. - The
wallet card assembly 104 is planar-shaped. Preferably, thewallet card assembly 104 is resiliently deformable (elastically deformable) and planar-shaped. In accordance with an embodiment, thewallet card assembly 104 is configured to: (A) deform (bend) beyond an un-deformed condition to a deformed condition in response to the application of a deforming force to thewallet card assembly 104, and (B) revert to the un-deformed condition (from the deformed condition) in response to the removal of the deforming force from the wallet card assembly 104 (this is done without adverse damage to the wallet card assembly 104). Thewallet card assembly 104 is configured to bend and resume its original unstressed condition. In accordance with a preferred embodiment, thewallet card assembly 104 non-adhesively supports the cleaningfabric 102. - The cleaning
fabric 102 may be used for cleaning an object, such as a pair ofglasses 906, etc. Embodiments of the cleaningfabric 102 include soft materials and/or flexible materials, fabrics, such as wool, cotton, polyester, rayon, fleece, nylon, a microfiber material and any equivalent thereof. The microfiber material is synthetic fiber that is finer than one denier per thread (such as, a material made from or with polyesters, polyamides or a conjugation of polyester, polyamide, and polypropylene). The shape, size, and combinations of synthetic fibers may be selected for specific characteristics, including softness, toughness, absorption, water repellency, electrostatics, and filtering capabilities. Microfiber may be 100% polyester, or a blend of polyester and polyamide (nylon). It may be a woven product, a non-woven product, etc. The microfiber may be split during the manufacturing process to produce multi-stranded fibres. Preferably, for microfiber to be most effective as a cleaning product, especially for water-soluble soils and waxes, it may be a split microfiber. It is understood that the term “a cloth” means “at least one or more instances of a cloth.” For instance, it may be desirable to have thewallet card assembly 104 configured to store or house two instances or more instances of the cleaningfabric 102; for instance, the eyeglasses may be placed between the two instances of the cleaningfabric 102 so the front and back of the lenses may be cleaned simultaneously (if so desired). -
