Abstract
A corrugated cardboard packing box with inner inserts and folding led to section the box vertically for multi layered storage compartments within the box.
Description
- The present invention relates to a packing box and more particularly pertains to an insert design to facilitate the layering of the packing box to store items of like nature to be in one section/layer and other items stored in another section/layer. The advantage is using the basic box and more efficient and protective manner. The use of another partition packing box is not known at this time.
- In view of the foregoing disadvantages inherit in the known types of packing boxes of other designs and configurations now present in the prior art, the present invention provides an improved packing box. As such, the general purpose of the present invention, which will be described subsequently in greater detail, is to provide a new improved packing box which has all the advantages of the prior art and none of the disadvantages. To attain this, the present invention essentially comprises a new corrugated paper insert with a folding bottom creating two or more additional spaces in the original packing box. The insert can be manufactured in various depths depending on the marketing research. The original packing box may vary in size as well as the inserts. It is understood that the invention is not limited in its application and sizes set forth in the descriptions or illustrated in the drawings. It organization, less breakage, saves room, and you get to start with a fresh new bottom. The Smart-Pack needs no assembly or tools needed, it is easy to use and is reusable.

- The name of my invention is called the Smart-Pack. It is essentially a box with two bottoms and can be used on all size boxes. Smart-Pack consist of two pieces of corrugated cardboard, one that would be the box itself, the other would be the insert which is glued on the sides of the bottom part of the box. The lid that folds down, to make the second bottom and or floor is perforated so as you have the option to use it or not. The lid and or the floor has a cut out called the finger lift. It is used to lift the second lid and or floor to gain access to items in the bottom part of the box. There are many advantages for the use of the smart pack. One of the best is that it will save the consumer money. You end up having two boxes, and virtually paying for only one. With Smart-Pack you would have better organization, less breakage, saves room, and you get to start with a fresh new bottom. The Smart-Pack needs no assembly or tools needed, it is easy to use and is reusable.
