Furthermore, silicone tip 7 can be used for brows for creating hair like marks ( FIG. 9 ). This can be blended by using silicone tip 8 .
- Silicone tip 8 is preferably utilized for applying lipstick.
- Rounded side 43 ( FIG. 2 ) may be used for obtaining a sharp line.
- Cupped bevel 9 may then be used for filling in the full color for the lips.
- Applicator 1 is optimum for blending, smudging and more. It is also exceptional for special effects makeup because material does not will stick to the silicone. With a 99% alcohol solution applicator 1 will be sanitized and sterilized to eliminate dry time so it can be immediately used for the next client.
- Silicone tips 7 and 8 are strong and flexible and are good for smudging and blending the makeup. Silicone tips 7 and 8 keep their shape despite repeated usages.

Abstract
Description
- The present invention relates to makeup applicators, and in particular, to reusable makeup applicators for applying face makeup.
- Facial makeup is commonly applied to the faces of women throughout the world. Typically, lipstick is rubbed directly onto the lips. After repeated usage, the lipstick can become dirty or contaminated with bacteria. Also, some of the lipstick is invariably wasted as the user nears the end of the lipstick supply. Also, eyeliner is usually applied with brushes that may also can become dirty and contaminated, resulting in complications for the user.
- Clay sculpting tools are known. Clay sculpting tools may include a handle having silicone flexible tips that are used to mold and manipulate clay. These clay sculpting tools are commonly available. One such tool is purchased from Shanghai Joykey International Trading Co. with offices in China (part no. HB-DTCS0206).

FIGS. 7-9 show the utilization of a preferred makeup applicator - The present invention provides a device and method for applying makeup to a user's face. To apply makeup, the user obtains a makeup application device. The makeup application device has a handle with two tip connectors connected to each end. Flexible, nonporous applicator tips are connected to each of the two tip connectors. The user then places makeup onto one of the applicator tips and then applies the makeup to her face. In a preferred embodiment the applicator tips are fabricated from hypoallergenic silicone and are used to apply lipstick and eyeliner primarily.
- In the present invention, Applicant has discovered that a clay sculpting tool having oppositely attached silicone tips may be used to apply makeup onto the face of a human being. Specifically, Applicant has discovered that lipstick and eyeliner may be very effectively applied to the face using the tool described above in the background section that is sold for the specific purpose of sculpting clay.

FIG. 1 shows a preferred makeup applicator 1. Make-up applicator 1 includeshandle 2. In a preferredembodiment handle 2 is wood. 3 and 4 are rigidly attached to opposite ends ofAluminum tip connectors handle 2 by crimping at 5 and 6, respectively.crimps 7 and 8 are rigidly attached toSilicone tips 3 and 4, respectively.tip connectors - In a preferred embodiment of the present invention,
silicone tip 8 includes cuppedbevel 9.FIGS. 2-4 show detailed views ofsilicone tip 8 showingcupped bevel 9 in greater detail.FIGS. 3 and 4 show side views oftip 8 so that thedepth 10 of cuppedbevel 9 is more clearly viewed. - Also, in the preferred embodiment of the present invention,
silicone tip 7 includes 15 and 16 and contouredflat bevels section 17. Contouredsection 17 is preferably rounded as shown. - In a preferred embodiment of the present invention,
makeup applicator 1 is utilized to apply makeup in a highly effective and efficient manner (FIG. 7 ).Silicone tip 8 with cuppedbevel 9 is highly effective in applying lipstick. To apply the lipstick, the usercoats silicone tip 8 with the lipstick and then rubs the lipstick onto the lips. The cupped bevel allows for the effective collection of the lipstick and also comfortably conforms to the lips of the user. -
Silicone tip 7 is highly effective in applying eyeliner (FIG. 8 ). 15 and 16 are utilized to carefully apply the eyeliner to areas above the user's eyes in a crisp and accurate fashion. ContouredFlat bevels section 17 may be used to smooth and blend the makeup to match the preference of the user. - In a preferred embodiment of the present invention,
applicator 1 may be fabricated with features as described above. Also, in a preferred embodiment of the present invention, Applicant purchases a clay sculpting tool described in the Background section above. -
