Abstract

A key securing device to hold one or more keys is provided. The key securing device includes (i) a plurality of beads, (ii) a first clasp, and (iii) a second clasp. The plurality of beads is weaved on a string. The first clasp is coupled to a zipper, and to a first end of the key securing device. The zipper is coupled to a handbag. The second clasp is coupled to a second end of the key securing device. The second clasp holds the one or more keys using a key ring. In one embodiment, the plurality of beads is of difference shapes, sizes, and colors.

BACKGROUND

Technical Field
The embodiments herein generally relate to a key chain accessory and, more particularly, to a decorative key securing device to be connected with a purse or the like for easy retrieval of the key.
Description of the Related Art
One of the most prevalent and well-recognized everyday annoyances is found in the difficulty in finding objects in a ladies handbag This may be particularly severe in the time-wasting fumbling to obtain keys, compounded because they are frequently used. In order to alleviate this, it has been proposed in the past to provide some sort of retaining device in a purse to which keys may be attached. Frequently, these are difficult to install and use, or they may lack stability and be subject to becoming loose and dislodged. Also, some such prior designs are relatively expensive and complex.
Likewise, a prior art, Patent No US 20110099772 A1 discloses a device for retrieval of keys or small electronic devices while stored in clothing pockets, handbags, purses, backpacks, fanny packs, briefcase or other similar carrying cases or packs. The length and flexibility allows the device to drape outside the pocket or bag for easy and quick retrieval of keys or electronic devices. The device is comprised of a clasp at one end to attach keys or electronic devices, a length of flexible material and at the other end a ring for attaching ornaments, flashlights, personal protection devices, door openers or other similar devices.
Another prior art, Patent No WO 1984001886 A1 discloses a device and method for storing a set of keys in the compartment of a purse. The device includes a flexible member, a key retaining device attached to one end of the flexible member and an end piece attached to the other end of the flexible member. The method of the invention includes attaching one or more keys to the key retaining device, lowering the key retaining device into the purse compartment and draping the flexible member over the opening of the purse compartment such that the end piece hangs freely outside the purse compartment.
A key locator device is also disclosed in a prior art, U.S. Pat. No. 8,672,002 B2 that discloses a key locator including first and second members. The first member has opposed ends and an intermediate u-shaped region One of the ends of the first member comprises a hook for engaging the second member which includes a clasp while the other end comprises an enlarged portion for fixing an ornament thereto. The arrangement is suitable for hanging at the open top of a bag-like device such as a purse, backpack or briefcase whereby the ornament is displayed at the same time that the keys are readily accessible without undue fishing efforts.
Another prior art, Patent No CA 1179987 A1 discloses a device and method for storing a set of keys in the compartment of a purse. The device includes a flexible member, a key retaining device attached to one end of the flexible member and an end piece attached to the other end of the flexible member. The method of the invention includes attaching one or more keys to the key retaining device, lowering the key retaining device into the purse compartment and draping the flexible member over the opening of the purse compartment such that the end piece hangs freely outside the purse compartment.
A key security device as discloses in prior art, U.S. Pat. No. 5,365,760 A, relates to a key and clip combination useful for securing a spare key in a wallet or purse and for key identification. The clip is low profile and prevents the wallet or purse from becoming bulky. The clip may also include apertures for exposing the hole within the key used for placing the key on a key chain or key peg.
Another prior art, Patent No US 20060090302 A1 discloses an adaptor allowing a retractable key keeper having a clip on back to attach to a purse or the like. The adaptor is a spring like clip/fastener, attaching or engulfing the strap or portion of the purse of the like, to secure the key keeper to the purse or the like.
An article holding assembly for a purse is also disclosed in prior art, U.S. Pat. No. 6,273,245 B1, wherein an article holding assembly for a purse for conveniently storing a plurality of keys within a purse or other bag with the keys positioned in an easily accessed area within the purse. The inventive device includes a support case having a pocket member, a clip member attached to a rear portion of the support case for engaging one of several pockets within a handbag, and a shaft having a loop pivotally attached to an upper end for securing at least one key thereto. Yet another prior art, U.S. Pat. No. 4,403,488 A discloses a device for holding a key ring or the like in a handbag which has an elongated one-piece plastic body.
Consequently, there remains a need for a key holder to be made readily available and easily placed in position for use in the handbag.

SUMMARY

In view of the foregoing, an embodiment herein provides a hand bag with a handbag accessory to hold one or more keys. The handbag includes (i) a plurality of beads, (ii) a first member, and (iii) a second member. The plurality of beads is weaved on a string The first member is adapted to be coupled to a handbag and the second member is adapted to hold the one or more keys. The handbag accessory is a key securing device. The key securing device is coupled to the handbag using an attachment. In another embodiment, the attachment is a Zipper.
The first member is a first clasp that is coupled to the Zipper and a first end of the key securing device. The second member is a second clasp that is coupled to second end of the key securing device. The second member holds the one or more keys using a key ring. In one embodiment, the plurality of beads is of different shapes, sizes and colors. In another embodiment, the material for the plurality of beads is selected from a group of plastic, stone, glass and wood.
In another aspect, a key securing device to hold one or more keys is provided. The key securing device includes (i) a plurality of beads, (ii) a first clasp, and (iii) a second clasp. The plurality of beads is weaved on a string. The first clasp is coupled to a zipper, and to a first end of the key securing device. The zipper is coupled to a handbag. The second clasp is coupled to a second end of the key securing device. The second clasp holds the one or more keys using a key ring.
In one embodiment, the plurality of beads is of difference shapes, sizes, and colors.
These and other aspects of the embodiments herein will be better appreciated and understood when considered in conjunction with the following description and the accompanying drawings. It should be understood, however, that the following descriptions, while indicating preferred embodiments and numerous specific details thereof, are given by way of illustration and not of limitation. Many changes and modifications may be made within the scope of the embodiments herein without departing from the spirit thereof, and the embodiments herein include all such modifications.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The embodiments herein and the various features and advantageous details thereof are explained more fully with reference to the non-limiting embodiments that are illustrated in the accompanying drawings and detailed in the following description. Descriptions of well-known components and processing techniques are omitted so as to not unnecessarily obscure the embodiments herein. The examples used herein are intended merely to facilitate an understanding of ways in which the embodiments herein may be practiced and to further enable those of skill in the art to practice the embodiments herein. Accordingly, the examples should not be construed as limiting the scope of the embodiments herein.
As mentioned, there remains a need for simple and inexpensive yet highly reliable key finding device. The embodiments herein achieve this by providing a handbag accessory that holds the keys inside the handbag. Referring now to the drawings, and more particularly to FIGS. 1 through 2B, where similar reference characters denote corresponding features consistently throughout the figures, there are shown preferred embodiments.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view 100 of a handbag 102 with a key securing device 104 to secure one or more keys according to an embodiment herein. The handbag 102 includes the key securing device 104, a key 106, a key ring 108, and an attachment 114 that is coupled to the handbag 102. The key securing device 104 is formed by connecting a plurality of beads, a first clasp 110 and a second clasp 112. The plurality of beads is weaved using a string. In one embodiment, the plurality of beads is crystals. In another embodiment, the plurality of beads with the string can be replaced by any similar material such as, but not limited to, leather or a metal chain. In one embodiment, the first clasp 110 is a first lobster claw clasp, and the second clasp 112 is a second lobster claw clasp. The plurality of beads is tied using a thread (not shown in FIG. 1). In one embodiment, the plurality of beads is waved by a fishing line or any similar material. In another embodiment, the first clasp 110 and the second clasp 112 are made from metal. In one embodiment, the key securing device 104 is approximately 8-8½ inches in length. The material for the plurality of beads is selected from a group of plastic, stone, glass and wood.
The first clasp 110 is coupled to a first end of the key securing device 104 and the second clasp 112 is coupled to a second end of the key securing device 104. The first clasp 110 is further coupled to the handbag 102 using the attachment 114. The second clasp 112 holds the key 106 using the key ring 108. In one embodiment, the key ring 108 may hold one or more keys. In another embodiment, the attachment 114 may be a zipper.
FIG. 2A illustrates a perspective view 200A of the key securing device 104 with identical beads according to an embodiment herein. The key securing device 104 includes the plurality of beads, the first clasp 110, and the second clasp 112. The plurality of beads is identical to each other.
FIG. 2B illustrates a perspective view 200B of the key securing device 104 with a plurality of beads of different shapes and sizes according to an embodiment herein. The key securing device 104 includes the plurality of beads of different shapes and sizes, the first clasp 110 and the second clasp 112. In one embodiment, the plurality of beads of different shapes and sizes may be of different colors.
The key securing device proves out to be a huge time saver in today's busy life. Almost all the ladies have the habit of carrying a lot of stuff in the handbag. In addition to carrying a lot of stuff, the ladies put the important keys in the same handbag. The key securing device is a handbag accessory that assists the ladies to hold the important keys on the key securing device. Securing the key on the key securing device avoids the times wastage in finding the keys in the bunch of other stuff inside the handbag. The key securing device comes in variety of shapes, sizes and colors. Moreover, the key securing device may be fastened on the handbag or a purse or any other accessory using the clasps.
The foregoing description of the specific embodiments will so fully reveal the general nature of the embodiments herein that others can, by applying current knowledge, readily modify and/or adapt for various applications such specific embodiments without departing from the generic concept, and, therefore, such adaptations and modifications should and are intended to be comprehended within the meaning and range of equivalents of the disclosed embodiments. It is to be understood that the phraseology or terminology employed herein is for the purpose of description and not of limitation. Therefore, while the embodiments herein have been described in terms of preferred embodiments, those skilled in the art will recognize that the embodiments herein can be practiced with modification within the spirit and scope of the appended claims.

Claims

What is claimed is:

1. A hand bag with a handbag accessory to hold one or more keys comprising:

a plurality of beads that are weaved on a string;

a first member that is adapted to be coupled to a handbag; and

a second member that is adapted to hold said one or more keys.

2. The handbag of claim 1, wherein said handbag accessory is a key securing device.

3. The handbag of claim 1, wherein said handbag accessory is coupled to a handbag using an attachment.

4. The handbag of claim 3, wherein said attachment is a zipper.

5. The handbag of claim 1, wherein said first member is a first clasp, wherein said first clasp is coupled to said zipper and to a first end of said key securing device.

6. The handbag of claim 1, wherein said second member is a second clasp, wherein said second clasp is coupled to second end of said key securing device, wherein said second clasp holds said one or more keys using a key ring.

7. The handbag of claim 1, wherein said plurality of beads is of different shapes, sizes, and colors.

8. The handbag of claim 1, wherein materials for said plurality of beads is selected from a group comprising of plastic, stone, glass, and wood.

9. The handbag of claim 1, wherein said plurality of beads is replaced by leather or a metal chain.

10. A key securing device to hold one or more keys, wherein said key securing device comprising:

a plurality of beads that are weaved on a string;

a first clasp that is coupled to a zipper, and to a first end of said key securing device, wherein said zipper is coupled to a handbag; and

a second clasp that is coupled to a second end of said key securing device, wherein said second clasp holds said one or more keys using a key ring.

11. The key securing device of claim 10, wherein said plurality of beads is of different shapes, sizes, and colors.
