Abstract
The present invention comprises a shock-absorbing grip alternative to weightlifting gloves. The shock-absorbing grip allows a user to easily grab any gym equipment without having to touch it with a naked hand, it prevents germ transfer, and it enables the user to use exercise equipment without the need for gel or liquid. The shock-absorbing grip is washable and is resistant to salt water in sweat of the user.

- Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates generally to the gym equipment more particularly to the grips using to carrying the gym equipment.
- Description of the related art.
- The weightlifting gloves has many problem, as example there are the gloves stink and rip apart from sweat and salt from the body. Also, when you lift heavy weights or do dips, the center of your palm is the first thing to give out due to pressure. But the present invention allows a cushion in between your hand and the bar or pole, allowing you to lift more and do more dips. The present invention also giving your hands the freedom to breath without restrictions. Also, to be left on bar as a marker (someone is using machine) Logos, etc. instead of usage anything with a pole. Machinist, Drillers, Window Washers, Roofers, Moppers, anything with a handle or pole, etc.
- The present invention in one aspect provide comfort to the everyday person whom handle weights tool or any hand related tool for work or pleasure.
- In another aspect the present invention solve the problem of the non ability to continue due to the pain resulting from hands hurting due to pressure of weight or body weight.
- With the wide usage of germ wipes, soaps and transfer of HIV.

- 3—The rubber part.
- 4—Dumbbells.
- The following detailed description is of the best currently contemplated modes of carrying out exemplary embodiments of the invention. The description is not to be taken in a limiting sense, but is made merely for the purpose of illustrating the general principles of the invention.
- The present invention is an alternative shock-absorbing grip to weightlifting gloves. The present invention allows you to grab any bar or pole without having to touch it with a naked hand. The present invention will prevent germ transfer, has the ability to use the exercise equipment without having to use gel or liquid and the present invention is washable and salt water resistant due to sweat.
- Referring to
FIG. 1 we can see all the present invention parts separately, basically the present invention consists of two parts, the first part is thegrip 1 and the second part is therubber part 3 that is included in thegrip 1, thegrip 1 has two faces, the interior face of thegrip 1 and the exterior face of thegrip 1. In this figure also we can see the hook andloop fastener system 2 that is will be used to prevent the loosing of thegrip 1 when used to hold any gym equipment, thegrip 1 made of neoprene and therubber part 3 made of rubber. The dimensions of thegrip 1 are: 6 inches length, 7 inches width. The dimensions of therubber part 3 are: 7 inches wide, ¼ inch thick and thediameter 4 inches. Thegrip 1 includes the hook side of the hook andloop fastener system 2 in the interior face of thegrip 1 and the loop side of the hook andloop fastener system 2 in the exterior face of thegrip 1. both of the hook side of hook andloop fastener system 2 and the loop side of hook andloop fastener system 2 are 1 inch across back, 3 inches long and 1 inch wide, the hook side of hook andloop fastener system 2 is made to connect to the loop side of hook andloop fastener system 2 to guarantee that it will not loose when we use it to hold the gym equipments. - Referring to
FIG. 2 we will see thegrip 1 exactly as we can use it to hold any gym equipment, we can see thegrip 1 and therubber part 3 included in thegrip 1, also we can see the hook side of the hook andloop fastener system 2 where it can be connected with the loop side of the hook andloop fastener system 2 to preventgrip 1 from loosing. - Referring to
FIG. 3 the present invention is theideal grip 1 to hold the exercise and gym equipment, as explained thegrip 1 is closed by the hook andloop fastener system 2 around thedumbbells 4. - Finally the present invention is an alternative shock-absorbing grip to absorb shocks when a user uses the alternative shock-absorbing grip to grab any gym equipment without having to touch it with a naked hand, the alternative shock-absorbing grip comprising a grip with two faces, a rubber part and a hook and loop fastener system, wherein the grip with two faces is made from neoprene, the two faces of the grip comprising an exterior face and an interior face, the the rubber part is included in the alternative shock-absorbing grip to absorb the shocks when the user uses the alternative shock-absorbing grip to grab the any gym equipment, the hook and loop fastener system comprises a hook component coupled to the interior face of the grip and a loop component coupled to the exterior face of the grip to connect the alternative shock absorbing grip to guarantee that the alternative shock-absorbing grip will not be loose when the user uses the alternative shock-absorbing grip to hold the any gym equipments, the grip that prevents germ transfer, enables a user to use the exercise equipment without the need for gel or liquid, is washable, and is resistant to salt water in sweat of the user.
Claims (2)
1. An alternative shock-absorbing grip to absorb shocks when a user uses the alternative shock-absorbing grip to grab any gym equipment without having to touch it with a naked hand, the alternative shock-absorbing grip comprising:
a grip with two faces; a rubber part; and a hook and loop fastener system,
wherein the grip with two faces is made from neoprene, the two faces of the grip comprising an exterior face and an interior face;
wherein the rubber part is included in the alternative shock-absorbing grip to absorb the shocks when the user uses the alternative shock-absorbing grip to grab the any gym equipment;
wherein the hook and loop fastener system comprises a hook component coupled to the interior face of the grip and a loop component coupled to the exterior face of the grip to connect the alternative shock absorbing grip to guarantee that the alternative shock-absorbing grip will not be loose when the user uses the alternative shock-absorbing grip to hold the any gym equipments.
2. A grip that prevents germ transfer, enables a user to use the exercise equipment without the need for gel or liquid, is washable, and is resistant to salt water in sweat of the user.
