Abstract
A water saving toilet device comprises a drain pipe of a basin connected with a flush unit of a toilet, thereby providing the wastewater, which is produced after the basin is used, into the flush unit of the toilet via the drain pipe to be a water for cleaning the toilet after the user used the toilet, achieving the effect of water saving.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates a water saving toilet device. More particularly, a toilet device has the effect of water saving via receiving the wastewater from a basin to be the cleaning water for washing the toilet after the user used the toilet.
- 2. Description of Related Art
- The traditional toilet device, such as a toilet bowl and a urinal, comprises a flush unit. After the user used toilet device, the flush unit is used to wash out the excreta.
- For a toilet bowl, the flush unit comprises a tank, a supply pipe set in the tank, a float ball set in the tank and connected with the supply pipe to control the water inflow via the supply pipe, and a flapper valve set in the tank and controlled by a handle set outside the tank via a flush lever to open and close. When the handle is pushed to open the flapper valve, the water in the tank is poured out from a flush pipe which is connected to the tank to wash the toilet bowl and the water level of the tank drops and the float ball drops, then, when the water level is reached a default low level, the flapper valve is closed and the water is poured into from the supply pipe to raise the water level and float ball, finally, the water lever is reached a default high level, the influx of the water from the supply pipe is stopped to wait the next flush.
- For a urinal, a switch of the flush unit is directly connected with a supply pipe. When the switch is opened, the water is poured into the toilet device via the supply pipe to wash the toilet device. When the switch is closed, the supply pipe is closed to stop to supply water.
- Furthermore, as we all know that washing hand after use toilet is a common health habit. The wastewater which is produced after user washes his hands is directly drained out without reuse again. However, the wastewater produced by washing hands belongs to clean wastewater to a certain degree. Therefore, if the wastewater produced by washing hands is became as the water for wash out the excreta in the toilet device, the consumption of water is saved.
- Therefore, the object of the present invention is to provide a water saving toilet device, in which the wastewater is received from a basin to be the cleaning water for washing the toilet after the user used the toilet, resulting in the reuse of the water, achieving the effect of water saving.
- For the above object, a water saving toilet device comprises a drain pipe of a basin connected with a flush unit of a toilet. The basin is set above the toilet or at the side of the toilet. The basin also comprises a tap for supplying water. Therefore, the wastewater produced after the basin is used is provided into the flush unit of the toilet via the drain pipe to be a washing water for cleaning the toilet after the user used the toilet, achieving the effect of water saving.
- According to an embodiment, the water saving toilet device further comprises a storage rack, set above the basin or at the side of the basin.
- According to an embodiment, the toilet is a toilet bowl and the flush unit comprises a tank, a supply pipe set in the tank, a float ball set in the tank and connected with the supply pipe to control the water inflow via the supply pipe, and a flapper valve set in the tank and controlled by a handle set outside the tank via a flush lever to open and close.
-
FIG. 1 is a three-dimensional view of a water saving toilet device according to an embodiment of the present invention; -
FIG. 2 is a side view of the water saving toilet device shown inFIG. 1 ; -
FIG. 3 is a three-dimensional view of a water saving toilet device according to another embodiment of the present invention; and -
FIG. 4 is a three-dimensional view of a water saving toilet device according to the other embodiment of the present invention. - A water saving toilet device of the present invention comprises a
drain pipe 11 of abasin 1 connected with a flush unit 21 of a toilet 2. Thebasin 1 is set above the toilet 2 or at the side of the toilet 2, and thebasin 1 comprises at least onetap 12 for supplying water. - Please refer to
FIG. 1 andFIG. 2 , which are a three-dimensional view and a side view of a water saving toilet device according to an embodiment of the present invention, respectively. The toilet 2 is a toilet bowl 2 a, and the toilet bowl 2 a comprises a flush unit 21 a. The flush unit 21 a comprises a tank, a supply pipe set in the tank, a float ball set in the tank, and a flapper valve set in the tank. The structure of the flush unit 21 a is the same as the traditional flush unit of the prior art described above, it is not described here again. - After the user uses the toilet, the handle is pushed to open the flapper valve, the water in the tank is poured out from a flush pipe to wash the toilet bowl 2 a and the water level of the tank drops and the float ball drops, then, when the water level is reached a default low level, the flapper valve is closed and the water is poured into from the supply pipe to raise the water level and the float ball, finally, the water lever is reached a default high level, the influx of the water from the supply pipe is stopped to wait the next flush.
-
FIG. 3 is a three-dimensional view of a water saving toilet device according to another embodiment of the present invention. The toilet 2 is a urinal 2 b and the flush unit 21 b comprises a supply pipe connected with thedrain pipe 11 of thebasin 1. The structure of the flush unit 21 b of the urinal 2 b is the same as the traditional flush unit of the prior art described above, it is not described here again. After the user uses the toilet and opens thetap 12 of thebasin 1 for washing the hands, the wastewater directly drains out of the flush unit 21 b which is connected with thedrain pipe 11 of thebasin 1 for washing the urinal. -
FIG. 4 is a three-dimensional view of a water saving toilet device according to the other embodiment of the present invention. The different between the embodiments showed inFIG. 3 andFIG. 4 is the shape of the urinal. - Therefore, the wastewater which is produced after the basin is used is provided into the flush unit of the toilet via the drain pipe to be a cleaning water for cleaning the toilet after the user used the toilet, achieving the effect of water saving.
- The toilet device of the present invention shown in
FIG. 1 toFIG. 4 further comprises astorage rack 3 set above thebasin 1 or at the side of thebasin 1 for putting the cleaners, such as a hand wash or a tissue. - However, the foregoing embodiments and drawings does not limits the product structures or uses of the present invention, it will be obvious to those skilled in the art that various modifications may be made without departing from the spirit and the scope of the present invention.
