Description

  • The invention relates to women's nightclothes top sections design processes with the utilitarian function of covering the bust to hide the nipple of the breast. The form versions are specifically designed and conditioned by its function. This is why in that case the patent's rules apply.
  • These nighclothes form a clothing line named DiscreetEve for which I registered for a Trademark. The design processes and drawings have also been submitted as industrial designs under the Industrial Design Act. I have also registered for a copyright. What woman does not like nightclothes? At the end of the day, change from their work clothes to comfortable and nice nightclothes, take off their bra. In women's life nightclothes are not primarily designed to appeal.
  • While bras are now designed for women to dress elegantly, women's nightclothes design ignores their elegance and dignity. It is a chance to find discreet, subtle and feminine nightclothes since they are not designed for this purpose. Women have no choice but to buy too large sizes, fold their arms, wear two layers, wear thick fabric, keep their bra or wear a supportive brassiere-like camisole under the nightclothes.
  • Some dresses with supportive brassiere-like structures could be worn as nightclothes, if they look like a night gown and fits around the bust. This is not the comfort women are looking for.
  • Whether it is a short or long nightdress, chemise, sleepshirt, pajama or camisole, the process will allow women to wear nice, comfortable and feminine nightclothes according to their taste and size and without showing the nipple of the breast.
  • It should be kept in mind when reading the full description that the design versions are not, per se, considered as new. The innovative aspect is that they are not used for decorative purposes, but specifically for women's nightclothes, to cover the bust and hide the nipple of the breast.

  • FULL DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • As mentioned above, the design versions are not, per se, considered as new. The innovative aspect is that they are not used for decorative purposes, but specifically for women's nightclothes, to cover the bust and hide the nipple of the breast.
  • These design versions may be combined for women with hard nipples. For example, it is possible to combine a double layer lining with a bodyside liner.
  • 1. Decorative bands or motifs
  • 1.1 Bands of fabric sewed over the wide of the front at breast level
      • (For example, see FIG. 1)
      • May be sewed over the nightclothes fabric like a double layer lining or be a part of the garment.
      • Bands may contrast in color, texture or material.
      • One band or many small bands (ribbons) arranged vertically, horizontally or diagonally.
      • Various band forms, like wave shaped or V shaped.
      • When quilted, must use thin quilted lining
      • May also have the form of shoulder straps or overall.
  • 1.2 Decorative motifs sewed over the wide of the front at breast level
      • (For example, see FIG. 2)
      • Various forms, sizes and arrangements: triangles, squares, diamonds, etc.
      • Motifs may contrast in color, texture or material.
      • When quilted, must use thin quilted lining.
  • 1.3 Lace (ribbon) sewed over the wide of the front at breast level.
      • (For example, see FIG. 3)
        2. Bodyside comfortable liner
  • (For example, see FIG. 2 and FIG. 4)
      • Sewed inside like an inner layer starting at the shoulder edge and ending at waistline.
      • Must be enough loose, soft and supple, to be comfortable.
      • May also be sewed over the wide of the inner front at breast level. However, it is not like a cup that is uncomfortable and difficult to adjust. We don't want a bra. We want soft clothing against the skin.
      • Cushioning material, if used, must be soft, thin, natural and supple.
        3. Gathering and shirring
  • (For example, see FIG. 5)
      • One or more rows of gathered fabric sewed over the wide of the front at breast level.
      • May be sewed over the nightclothes fabric like a double layer lining or be a part of the garment.
      • Rows may contrast in color, texture or material.
      • Gathers arranged vertically, horizontally or diagonally.
      • Various gathers forms, like wave shaped or V shaped.
    4. Pleating
  • (For example, see FIG. 6)
      • Pleats of various sorts starting at breast level on the front.
      • May also be a pleated lining.
    5. Draped
  • (For example, see FIG. 7)
      • Draped effect pleats at breast level.
    6. Darts
  • (For example, see FIG. 8)

    7. Ruffles
  • (For example, see FIG. 9)
      • Ruffles at the front, arranged vertically or horizontally.
      • Ruffles may be arranged like layers.
    8. Layers
  • (For example, see FIG. 10)
      • Nightclothes layered with fabric as crepe, silk or chiffon.
      • In the front only or a complete layer.
      • Layer over the top or the whole length.
      • May have bat sleeves.
    9. Appliques
  • (For example, see FIG. 11)
      • Decorative ornaments sewed or ironed on the front at breast level.
    10. Embroidery
