  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • With reference to FIGS. 1 to 3A, a cup with anti-slipping and heat insulation effects in accordance with the present invention comprises a body 10 and a surrounding slice 20.
  • The body 10 has a surrounding wall 11, a bottom portion 12, and a rim portion 13. The surrounding wall 11 is folded and bonded into a cylindrical shape, has an external surface, a bottom edge and a top edge. The bottom portion 12 is connected to the bottom edge of the surrounding wall 11. The rim portion 13 is connected to the top edge of the surrounding wall 11 and is rolled as tube-shaped, and this can increase the structural strength of the body 10. The structural design of the body 10 is the same as the body 90 of the convention paper cup. The body 10 may be made of paper, plastic or other materials.
  • With reference to FIGS. 3A, 3B, and 4, the surrounding slice 20 is mounted around the external surface of the surrounding wall 11, corresponds in shape and size to the surrounding wall 11, and is fan-shaped when extended. The surrounding slice 20 has an external surface, an internal surface, two side edges, two connecting edges 21, multiple protrusions 22, multiple recesses 23, and a fundamental face 24. The two connecting edges 21 are formed on the two side edges respectively, and the two connecting edges 21 may overlap and stick to each other.
  • The multiple protrusions 22 are entirely formed on the external surface of the surrounding slice 20 without forming on the two connecting edges 21. The multiple protrusions 22 are staggeredly disposed into regular grids by compressing molding or stamping. With reference to FIGS. 3A and 3B, the recesses 23 are formed in the internal surface of the surrounding slice 20 and correspond in position to the protrusions 22. The recesses 23 are hollow. The fundamental face 24 is mounted around and is bonded to the external surface of the surrounding wall 11. The multiple protrusions 22 axially protrude outwardly from the fundamental face 24. With reference to FIGS. 3A and 3B, multiple intervals 25 are formed between the internal surface of the surrounding slice 20 and the external surface of the surrounding wall 11, and each interval 25 is hollow. Preferably, each one of the protrusions 22 is shaped as an elongated rectangle.
  • With reference to FIGS. 3A, 3B, and 4, as the surrounding slice 20 is mounted around the external surface of the surrounding wall 11, the structural strength of the cup can be enhanced. The protrusions 22 are staggeredly disposed into regular grids. Therefore, the protrusions 22 can increase the anti-slipping effect of the cup, such that the users may hold the surrounding slice 20 stably. The cup would not get damp and slippery, so the cup would not drop off from a hand of a user easily. The cup has a good heat insulation effect because the hollow intervals 25 are formed between the surrounding slice 20 and the surrounding wall 11. Therefore, when the cup contains hot drinks (over 50° C.), the users can hold the cup safely, and would not get burned, such that the practical effectiveness of the cup can be enhanced significantly.
