Abstract

The purpose of the invention is to prevent serious injuries and cuts that occur from used razorblades that are used with many types of blade holding devices such as razor knifes, scrapers and alike. The blade disposal apparatus was invented to dispose razor blades when no longer needed. The invention has a tamper proof body structure and can be mounted by screws or its magnetized backing. Once the blade disposal apparatus is full of blades the entire device must be discarded. This device can remind people who use them that there is a safe way to discard a still dangerous blade.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF DISCLOSURE
  • A blade disposal apparatus and container device. This disclosure relates to safety in a way of disposing used razor blades, box cutter blades, sewing needles, straight pins or similar. This design can prevent injuries on construction sites, manufacturing plants, home garages, and work stations.
  • When disposing a used blade in a designated device, this practice increases safety. Although razor blades are no longer needed by the user, they are still sharp enough to cut, pierce, puncture or scratch them. Blade disposal prevents an individual from being seriously injured.
  • SUMMARY OF THE DISCLOSURE
  • The concept of this invention is to have a blade disposal apparatus that stores old razor blades that are carefully discarded. This disposable apparatus with its rectangle box shape design was created mainly for safety on work sites across the world where the average worker could possibly dispose of hundreds of blades per year. This blade disposal device can be used in any location, either mounted or set, where Blades would be discarded. The worker may dispose of the blade into the single slot of the blade disposal apparatus.
  • At work and at home, individuals neglecting safety, carelessly discard of razor blades and other sharp objects causing injuries to themselves and others. The blade disposal device could prevent these injuries.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWING
  • The disclosure will be better understood and objects other that those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description of the preferred embodiments.
  • FIG. 1 is an Isometric view of an embodiment of the disposal apparatus and according to this this invention the device can be mounted on to various structures by magnetic or nails and screws through the provided holes.
  • FIG. 2 is a Front view turned on its left side showing the apparatus also a razor blade going through the opening and being disposed.
  • FIG. 3 is a Top view of an embodiment of the disclosure showing the slot for blade disposal and the overall square shape of the apparatus.
  • FIG. 4 is a Left side view of an embodiment of the disclosure show the rectangular shape of the apparatus. Also two thin plates are attached apparatus. This view has the device lying on its mounting magnetic plate which will be described later in this patent. (Right side is reverse of left side view)
  • FIG. 5 is a Bottom view of an embodiment of the disclosure and continue to show the same overall square shape of the apparatus like the top view but without the blade slot for disposal.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 5 thereof the Blade Disposal Device having a portable or stationary design embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by references 1 through 5. FIG. 1 item 1 is the blade disposal housing of the Blade Disposal Apparatus which has a rectangle design from top to bottom so it can handle lengthy blades that may get stuck together while in the box design.
  • Item 4 is a slot cut out through the top surface of item 1 the blade disposal housing. FIG. 1 Item 2 is the back mounting plate which, is designed for multiple things. It is mounted to the body item 1 the blade disposal housing.
  • The back mounting plate item 2 has three drilled through holes, going through item 3 item the magnet mounting plate to enable the user to mount to a likeable surface with the use of screws or nails. FIG. 3 is a top view showing item 1 the blade disposal housing also illustrating item 2 back mounting plate item 3 magnetic mounting plate which is mounted to the back mounting plate item 2 with strong adhesive glue and item 4 the blade disposal slot is totally designed for Inserting unwanted razor blades. After the blade is inserted though the slot item 4 the blade will drop inside the blade disposal housing. FIG. 4 Items 1, 2, 3 have been identified and explained previously in this preferred embodiment.
  • FIG. 5 is the bottom view showing Items 1, 2, 3 have been identified and explained previously in this preferred embodiment.
