Abstract

The hand warmer(s) is/are flat. It/They is/are filled with chemical based filler, (FIG. 3). This “filler” is sealed inside a cloth-like material, (FIG. 2). This completes the hand warmer.
When in use, the hand warmer(s) is/are shaken or exposed to air and inserted into the opening of the glove(s), (FIG. 4), then positioned into the extremities of the glove(s), (FIG. 1). Once properly positioned, ones hand can be inserted into the glove and positioned under the hand warmer, or on top of the hand warmer for warmth.
Chemical base filler (FIG. 3), consists and are comprised of; cellulose, iron, water, activated carbon, vermiculite and salt. Heat is caused by exothermic oxidation, when exposed to air.

Description

  • “Extended Fingers Hand Warmers” are flat inserts for gloves, made of a woven material consisting of clothlike composition; such as “traditional” square hand warmers are made. To be placed above or below the hand inside the glove; (Depending on the current task at hand).
  • The “Extended Fingers Hand Warmers” also provide the same functions as traditional hand warmers and it gives additional and simultaneous warmth to the extremities of the hands, because of its uniquely extended design.
  • Extended fingers hand warmers are filled with the same composition of chemical fillers as traditional chemical based hand warmers so as to continue to, not only meet, but to satisfy the consumers' needs and demands. It is just that “Extended Fingers Hand Warmers” provide the needed changes to the demands of a changing world society; which desires a more comfortable, convenient and highly functional product.
  • “Extended Fingers Hand Warmers” are designed for the “full participatory effect” of a New World of Technology, Competition and Sport; which is too busy to be inconvenienced by The unfulfilled needs of such a simple demand.
  • “Extended Fingers Hand-Warmers” are not only to be consumed by the avid, cold weather Sports Fans and Players, but by the everyday construction worker who works to meet a deadline when cold weather should not be a deterrent to progress. Not to mention just how important “Extended Fingers Hand-Warmers” are to the everyday person who uses their fingers to access their technological devices as they travel from point “A” to point “B”. Everyone wins with “Extended Fingers Hand Warmers” because of its ability to keep everyone in the game of everyday life and not sidelined In a New World Society that demands functional participation.
  • The chemical compound within the nonwoven material of “Extended Fingers Hand Warmers” are simple and biodegradable in the disposable version. The iron powder, water, salt , activated carbon and an absorbent material ; causes an exothermic reaction when removed from its outer packaging. Activated by oxygen, the iron powder inside forms iron oxide (Fe2O3), which releases heat.
  • Vermiculite, pulverized wood or polyacrylate are the highly absorbent materials which helps to retain the moisture, so that the reaction can occur. The activated carbon helps to evenly disperse the heat being produced, which normally averages 135 *F.

Claims (1)

I claim:
1. Extended fingers hand warmers(chemical based and disposable) are an improved design, on current disposable hand warmers; wherein the improvement comprises of extended extremities that reaches out to warm the entire hand, wherein the current disposable hand warmers are square and fit into and heat only the palm of the hands.
Although both form of hand warmers contain the same ingredients, which give off the same thermal energies, my extended fingers design gives a more complete satisfaction to the customer base. My extended fingers version saves time and money simply because one does not have to stop what one is doing to close their fists in order to warm their fingertips. (Construction workers, hunters, sports enthusiast and players, or anyone who dislikes the cold air): Once the Extended fingers version of chemical based hand warmers hit the market, they will be in a class all by themselves. Other older versions will become obsolete very quickly.
