Description

BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURE Field of the Disclosure
  • The disclosure relates to shoe devices and more particularly pertains to a new shoe device for providing therapeutic vibration to a foot of a person through a shoe worn by the person.
  • SUMMARY OF THE DISCLOSURE
  • An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a sole and an upper coupled to the sole wherein the upper and the sole define a shoe configured to be worn on a foot of a person. A vibration unit is coupled to and positioned in the sole such that the vibration unit vibrates the sole. A battery is coupled to the shoe. The battery is electrically coupled to the vibration unit.
  • There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
  • The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
  • FIG. 1 is a top front side perspective view of a therapeutic vibration shoe device according to an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • FIG. 2 is a top back side perspective view of an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • FIG. 3 is a side view of an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • FIG. 4 is a top view of an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • FIG. 5 is a back view of an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 5 thereof, a new shoe device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.
  • As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 5, the therapeutic vibration shoe device 10 generally comprises a sole 12 and an upper 14 coupled to the sole 12 wherein the upper 14 and the sole 12 define a shoe 16 configured to be worn on a foot of a person. The upper 14 is structured to have an opening 18 configured for receiving the foot therethrough and into the shoe 16. The upper 14 is structured to have a slot 20 extending from the opening 18 such that the slot 20 is configured to facilitate insertion of the foot into the shoe 16 in a conventional manner. A tongue 46 may be coupled to the upper 14 and extend along the slot 20.
  • A vibration unit 22 of conventional design to produce vibration is coupled to and positioned in the sole 12 such that the vibration unit 22 vibrates the sole 12. A battery 24 is coupled to the shoe 16. The battery 24 may be positioned in the sole 12. The battery 24 is electrically coupled to the vibration unit 22. A switch 26 is coupled to the shoe 16. The switch 26 is electrically coupled between the battery 24 and the vibration unit 22 wherein manipulation of the switch 26 selectively activates and deactivates the vibration unit 22. The switch 26 is positioned on a housing 28 coupled to and extending from an outer surface 30 of the upper 14. The switch 26 is positioned on a medial side 32 of the outer surface 30 of the upper 14.
  • Each of a plurality of straps 34 is coupled to the upper 14. The straps 34 are extendable across the slot 20. Each strap 34 is securable to the upper 14 extending across the slot 20 in a conventional manner using a coupler such as hook and loop fastener or the like, wherein each strap 34 is configured to inhibit removal of the foot from the shoe 16. Each strap 34 is coupled to the upper 14 such that the strap 34 is fixed to and extends from a lateral edge 36 of the slot 20 towards and over a medial edge 38 of the slot 20 to secure the strap 34 to the upper 14.
  • A charging port 40 is coupled to the sole 12. The charging port 40 is positioned on a peripheral vertical surface 42 along a heel 44 of the sole 12. The charging port 40 is electrically coupled to the battery 24 wherein the battery 24 is configured for being charged by an extrinsic power source coupled to the charging port 40.
  • In use, the shoe 16 is positioned on the foot and secured by the straps 34. When desired for alleviation of pain, treatment of poor circulation, or other maladies, the switch 26 is manipulated to produce vibration in the sole 12 which is transferred to the foot positioned in the shoe 16. The battery 24 is recharged by connection of the extrinsic power source to the charging port 40 as needed.
  • With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
