Thebuilding components 26 are positionable in an assembledstate 28 when each of thebuilding components 26 is attached to associated ones of thebuilding components 26. Instead of being used to construct atoy house 24, thebuilding components 26 may vary such that a user could build various-shaped items, including a toy boat, toy bus or the like. Thetoy house 24 has a size and shape for positioning within theinterior 20 of thecontainer 12 when thebuilding components 26 are unassembled. Thebuilding components 26 may include alower wall 30, a plurality ofside walls 32, a dividingwall 34, afirst door 36, asecond door 38, and a plurality ofroof segments 40. Each of thebuilding components 26 may be constructed from cardboard or similar material conventionally used to build model houses and may be glued together to form thetoy house 24. - The
lower wall 30 is configured for positioning on a supporting surface. Thelower wall 30 includes afront edge 44, arear edge 46, a firstlateral edge 48 and a secondlateral edge 50. Theside walls 32 are couplable to thelower wall 30. In particular, theside walls 32 are attached to and extend upwardly from thelower wall 30 when thebuilding components 26 are positioned in the assembledstate 28. Thelight emitters 90 thus allow theassembly 10 to also function as a lamp. - In use, as stated above and shown in the Figures, the
building components 26 are assembled together using glue, screws or the like in order to construct thetoy house 24. Thedecorative objects 42 are positioned within theirrespective voids 88 and are retained in place via their respective channels 91. At least onelight emitter 90 is positioned within thetoy house 24 and is actutated to produce a stained glass effect. The first 36 and second 38 doors are opened to provide access to the interior of thetoy house 24. In this manner, theassembly 10 can be used as a lamp, doll house, decorative display or the like. - With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
- Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure.
