FIG. 2 is an isometric, cutaway view of the bracket ofFIG. 1 . -
FIG. 3 is an assembled, isometric view of the bracket ofFIG. 1 . -
FIG. 4 is similar toFIG. 3 , but viewed from a different angle. -
FIG. 5 is similar toFIG. 3 , but shows two supporting poles received in a frame. - It will be appreciated that for simplicity and clarity of illustration, where appropriate, reference numerals have been repeated among the different figures to indicate corresponding or analogous elements. In addition, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the embodiments described herein. However, it will be understood by those of ordinary skill in the art that the embodiments described herein can be practiced without these specific details. In other instances, methods, procedures, and components have not been described in detail so as not to obscure the related relevant feature being described. Also, the description is not to be considered as limiting the scope of the embodiments described herein. The drawings are not necessarily to scale and the proportions of certain parts may be exaggerated to better illustrate details and features of the present disclosure.
- Several definitions that apply throughout this disclosure will now be presented.
- The term “substantially” is defined to be essentially conforming to the particular dimension, shape, or other feature that the term modifies, such that the component need not be exact. For example, “substantially cylindrical” means that the object resembles a cylinder, but can have one or more deviations from a true cylinder. The term “comprising,” when utilized, means “including, but not necessarily limited to”; it specifically indicates open-ended inclusion or membership in the so-described combination, group, series and the like.
- The present disclosure is described in relation to a bracket.
-
FIGS. 1 and 2 illustrate one embodiment of a bracket 100 (as shown inFIG. 5 ) for supporting an electronic device. Thebracket 100 includes aframe 10 and two supporting poles 20 (as shown inFIG. 4 ). - The frame includes a
bottom plate 12 and fourside plates 14. The fourside plates 14 extend from thebottom plate 12. Thebottom plate 12 and the fourside plates 14 cooperatively define aspace 16. Two of the fourside plates 14 are substantially parallel to each other and define agroove 140. A cross section of thegroove 140 can be substantially polygonal. In at least one embodiment, the cross section of thegroove 140 can be substantially hexagonal. - Each supporting
pole 20 includes a connectingportion 22, atelescopic pole 24, and ashaft 26. The connectingportion 22 includes afixing portion 220 and a rotatingportion 222. The rotatingportion 222 is engaged with thefixing portion 220. A cross section of thefixing portion 220 is the same as the cross section of thegroove 140. The rotatingportion 222 includes abody 2220 and two connectingpieces 2222. Thebody 2220 can rotate relative to thefixing portion 220. The two connectingpieces 2222 extend from thebody 2220 and are substantially parallel to each other. Each connectingpiece 2222 defines afirst hole 22220. Thetelescopic pole 24 includes a connectingmember 240, a plurality ofpoles 242, and a supportingend 244. The connectingmember 240 extends from the one of the plurality ofpoles 242. The supportingend 244 extends from the one of the plurality ofpoles 242. The plurality ofpoles 242 are connected to each other. The connectingmember 240 defines asecond hole 2402. In at least one embodiment, the two connectingpieces 2222 and the connectingmember 240 can be substantially U-shaped. A cross section of the plurality ofpoles 242 can be substantially polygonal. A cross sectional area of the plurality ofpoles 242 is reduced from the connectingmember 240 to the supportingend 244. - The
fixing portion 220 is engaged with thegroove 140. Theshaft 26 is engaged with the twofirst holes 22220 and thesecond hole 2402 to connect the connectingportion 22 to thetelescopic pole 24. -
FIGS. 3 and 4 illustrate two assembled views of thebracket 100. In use, the two supportingpoles 20 are in a supporting state. Thetelescopic pole 24 can rotate relative to the connectingportion 22 in a first plane. The first plane is substantially perpendicular to theshaft 26. Thebody 2220 can rotate relative to thefixing portion 220 in a second plane. The second plane is substantially perpendicular to the first plane. Theframe 10 can receive an electronic device, such as a tablet computer. The supportingend 244 abuts on a platform to support the electronic device. -
FIG. 5 illustrates two supportingpoles 20 in an engaged state. Thepole 242 with small cross sectional area is received in thepole 242 with a large cross sectional area. Thetelescopic pole 24 rotates relative to the connectingportion 22. Thetelescopic pole 24 and the connectingportion 22 can be aligned in a straight line. The connectingportion 22, thetelescopic pole 24, and theshaft 26 are received in thegroove 140. (as shown inFIG. 2 ) The supportingend 244 abuts the fourside plates 14. - The embodiments shown and described above are only examples. Many details are often found in the art such as the other features of a bracket. Therefore, many such details are neither shown nor described. Even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the present technology have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and function of the present disclosure, the disclosure is illustrative only, and changes may be made in the details, especially in matters of shape, size, and arrangement of the parts within the principles of the present disclosure, up to and including the full extent established by the broad general meaning of the terms used in the claims. It will therefore be appreciated that the embodiments described above may be modified within the scope of the claims.
