Description
- 1. Technical Field of Invention
- The embodiments herein generally relate to a puffing device and particularly to a portable puffing device. The embodiments herein more particularly relate to a miniature puffing device that is attachable to a wide range of bottles and easier to fit into the pockets.
- 2. Description of Related Art
- A water puffing or smoking is one of the earliest practiced smoking habits with objects like hookah, bong, water pipe, billy, bing, or moof. These are called water puffing devices. The water puffing devices are specifically made for its usage during smoking or puffing and generally the material used for their making is ceramics.
- A bong is made up of water-tight and air-tight container or a vessel and added with a bowl and stem apparatus which guides the air downward into the water level and in-turn bubbles the air upward during use. To get fresh air into the bong and harvest the last remaining smoke, a hole known as the “carburator”, “carb”, “choke”, “bink”, “rush” “shotty” “kick hole” or simply “hole”, somewhere on the lower part of the bong above water level, is first kept covered during the smoking process. This is hole is then opened to allow the smoke to be drawn into the respiratory system.
- Hookah is another kind of a water puffing device which is a single or multi-stemmed instrument. Hookah is used for vaporizing and smoking flavored tobacco called shisha in which the vapor or smoke is passed through a water basin—often glass-based—before inhalation. In construction and function a bong is similar to a hookah, except smaller and especially more portable in size.
- With increasing demand of the puffing efficient solutions, the use of water puffing object like hookah has been increased. But an availability of the water puffing device is difficult as well as costly. Also these devices are not handy and difficult to carry from one place to another.
- There has been increase in the water-pipe users and hence there has been a growing demand for portable and handy water-puffing devices. There is a need for a water or a liquid or a solution based puffing device with high portability and least complex assembly. There is a need for puffing devices that are attachable to a wide variety of bottles and hoses and can easily fit into the pockets.
- The above mentioned shortcomings, disadvantages and problems are addressed herein, as detailed below.
- Thus, the primary object of the embodiments herein is to provide a portable water puffing device that can be fitted in all kinds of bottles and is user-friendly.
- Another object of the embodiments herein is to provide a portable water puffing device with least complex assembly.
- Another object of the embodiments herein is to provide a portable water puffing device that will revolutionize the way the smokers usually smoke because of its unique design and portability.
- Another object of the embodiments herein is to provide a portable water puffing device that is small enough to fit into a pocket and cheap enough to throw in a bin.
- Another object of the embodiments herein is to provide a portable water puffing device that can be used multiple times.
- Another object of the embodiments herein is to provide a portable water puffing device that is made up of environmentally approved plastics.
- The embodiments herein provide a portable puffing device comprising a stem and a mouth piece. The stem is a tubular structure having a conical or a cup shaped holder present on one end. The mouth piece is a hollow structure comprising a fixing mechanism for fixing the mouth piece over a mouth of a bottle and an opening on a top portion. The mouth piece has an angularly attached puffing pipe. The stem has a filter band present at a junction of the conical holder and a tubular portion of the stem. The stem is inserted into the mouth piece through the opening and is firmly fitted over the mouth piece with the help of the filter band wherein the conical holder rests firmly above the opening present on the top portion of the mouth piece. The filter band acts as a carbonator and creates a suction of air during a puff. The puffing pipe remains above the mouth of the bottle and allows a flow of air or smoke.
- The stem and the mouth piece are made up of a glass or a hardened plastic or a ceramic material.
- The filter band is made up of a perforated rubber material to allow a steady suction of air during a puff.
- The mouth piece is made up of an elastomer to fit on various bottles with variable mouth diameters.
- These and other aspects of the embodiments herein will be better appreciated and understood when considered in conjunction with the following description and the accompanying drawings. It should be understood, however, that the following descriptions, while indicating preferred embodiments and numerous specific details thereof, are given by way of illustration and not of limitation. Many changes and modifications may be made within the scope of the embodiments herein without departing from the spirit thereof, and the embodiments herein include all such modifications.
