Description
- The present invention relates to a chain ornament, particularly a jewelry chain ornament strung with charms.
- Jewelry chain product such as hand chain, necklace and so forth basically comprises a chain, charms strung onto the chain and a closed-loop clasp for securing two ends of the chain together. In order to allow the charms to be fairly distributed on the chain, a stop ring is generally used to separate the charms on the chain. There are two methods of separating the charms by means of the stop ring. One of the methods is providing an external screw thread on an outer surface of the stop ring and an internal screw thread in an assembly opening of each of the charms, and passing the charms through the stop ring and preventing the charms from passing the stop ring on their own by means of the external screw thread of the stop ring and the internal screw threads of the charms. However, this method requires multiple rotations of the charms during assembly before the charms can pass through the stop ring, thus consuming much time and energy for assembly, and the productivity is low. Screw threads are easily worn out while in use, reducing the lifespan of the jewelry chain. The second method is providing a positioning portion in the stop ring, and a positioning through-hole on each of the charms which allows passage of the positioning portion of the stop ring at a predefined position. However, during assembly, this method requires alignment of the positioning through-hole at one end of the charm and the positioning portion of the stop ring to position the stop ring in the through-hole of the charm and then rotating the charm so that the positioning through-hole at another end of the charm aligns with the positioning portion of the stop ring before the charm can be passed through the stop ring to be strung onto the chain. This method requires the charm to be aligned with the stop ring for multiple times during assembly, thus assembly is inconvenient. When in use, the positioning through-hole of the charm may accidentally align with the positioning portion of the stop ring so that the charm may pass through the stop ring on its own, thus user needs to pass the charm through the stop ring again, resulting in inconvenience in use. Such clasp which secure two ends of the chain to form a closed-loop has the following disadvantages. First, the male end and the female end are not secured together securely and are easy to be detached. Second, the structures of the male end and the female end are complicated and are not good for production. Third, assembling and securing the male end and the female end involve a lot of steps, thus assembly is inconvenient. In view of the aforesaid disadvantages now present in the prior art, it is very necessary to redevelop and redesign the clasp part of the jewelry chain.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a user-friendly jewelry chain which is simple in structure, scientifically designed, capable of eliminating the need for alignment when mounting or adjusting the charms, convenient and quick to use, and equipped with a clasp with reliable positioning effect so that it will not be detached when worn.
- To achieve this, the present invention adopts the following technical proposal:
- A user-friendly jewelry chain comprising a chain, at least one charm, at least one stop ring which can be fixed on the chain and a clasp, characterized in that the stop ring is provided with a flexible positioning component; the charm is provided with a positioning through-hole which allows the chain and the stop ring to pass through; the charm is sleeved on the stop ring, and the charm is fixedly positioned on the stop ring by the flexible positioning component acting on a hole wall of the positioning through-hole.
- The clasp comprises a male end, a female end, a locking sleeve, a flexible pin component and a flat spring component; the female end is connected to one end of the chain; the flexible pin component and the flat spring component are respectively mounted on the female end; the locking sleeve is of a hollow structure, and a pin slot and a flat spring slot are formed inside one end of the locking sleeve; the pin slot comprises horizontal slots and a vertical slot, and the horizontal slots and the vertical slot are interlinked; the female end is sleeved into one end of the locking sleeve; the flexible pin component on the female end enters from the horizontal slots and slides into the vertical slot along the horizontal slots; rotation of the locking sleeve causes the flexible pin component to act on a slot wall of the vertical slot and the flat spring component on the female end to embed into the flat spring slot of the locking sleeve and act on a slot wall of the flat spring slot, so that the chain, the female end and the locking sleeve are assembled together.
- The positioning through-hole of the charm is formed by an inner annular slot and a positioning ring disposed at each of two ends of the inner annular slot; the flexible positioning component acts on a slot wall of inner annular slot of the positioning through-hole.
- Positioning blades are also provided on the inner annular slot of the positioning through-hole.
- To make the structure of the present invention more reasonable, the pin slot of the present invention has three embodiments: First, one end of the locking sleeve is provided with a pin slot, and the pin slot comprises horizontal slots, a vertical slot and a locking slot; Second, one end of the locking sleeve is provided with two pin slots opposite to each other, and the pin slot comprises horizontal slots, a vertical slot and a locking slot; Third, one end of the locking sleeve is provided with a pin slot, and the pin slot comprises horizontal slots, a vertical slot and a locking slot; wherein the vertical slot is an annular slot along an inner periphery of the locking sleeve; a plurality of locking slots are evenly disposed in the annular slot, and the horizontal slots and the locking slot are interlinked.
- To make the structure of the present invention more reasonable, the vertical slot is deeper than the horizontal slots. The locking slot is deeper than the vertical slot.
- As the present invention adopts the aforesaid technical proposal, it can achieve the following technical effects:
- (1) The present invention provides a flexible positioning component on the stop ring, and provides a positioning through-hole on the charm, so that when the charm is strung onto the chain, by pushing the charm and thereby compressing the flexible positioning component of the stop ring, the charm can pass through the stop ring and be strung onto the chain. Each of the charms is strung onto the chain accordingly. When a certain number of charms are strung onto the chain, one of the charms can be sleeved on the stop ring, so that the flexible positioning component on the stop ring can restore to its original state in the inner annular slot, thereby separating other charms. In the process of stringing, the charms of the present invention do not need to rotate several times like threads to pass the stop ring.
- Besides, there is no need to provide positioning portions on the stop ring of the present invention to align with corresponding positioning portions of the charms when stringing the charms. Therefore, the present invention is more effective in assembling, more convenient in assembling, and more convenient to use. The flexible positioning component will not be worn out easily, thus having a longer lifespan.
- (2) The present invention makes use of the flexible pin component and the flat spring component, so that after rotating the locking sleeve, the flat spring component on the female end acts on the flat spring slot to achieve locking in horizontal direction; the flexible pin component on the female end acts on the vertical slot of the pin slot to prevent the female end from detaching due to rotation of the locking sleeve when worn. As a result, when a user wears the jewelry chain of the present invention, the clasp will not detach no matter how hard it is shaked.

FIG. 1 , the user-friendly jewelry chain of the present invention comprises a chain 1, at least onecharm 2, at least onestop ring 3 which can be fixed on the chain 1 and a clasp. Thestop ring 3 is provided with aflexible positioning component 7. As shown inFIGS. 8 , 9 and 10, the centre of the end face ofstop ring 3 is provided with or opened with aperforation 31. Theperforation 31 is in a shape which allows the chain 1 to pass through, and theperforation 31 has a diameter slightly larger than the cross sectional diameter of the chain 1, so that thestop ring 3 can be easily and freely strung onto the chain 1. As shown inFIGS. 2 to 7 , thecharm 2 is provided with a positioning through-hole 21 which allows the chain 1 and thestop ring 3 to pass through. As shown inFIG. 1 , thecharm 2 is sleeved on thestop ring 3, and thecharm 2 is fixedly positioned on thestop ring 3 by theflexible positioning component 7 acting on a hole wall of the positioning through-hole 21. When thecharm 2 is strung onto the present invention, by pushing thecharm 2 and thereby compressing theflexible positioning component 7 of thestop ring 3, thecharm 2 can pass through thestop ring 3 and be strung onto the chain 1. - As shown in
FIGS. 1 and 11 , the clasp comprises amale end 4, afemale end 5, a lockingsleeve 6, aflexible pin component 8 and aflat spring component 9. Thefemale end 5 is connected to one end of the chain 1. As shown inFIG. 12 , theflexible pin component 8 and theflat spring component 9 are respectively mounted on thefemale end 5. As shown inFIGS. 14 , 15 and 16-1, the lockingsleeve 6 is of a hollow structure, and apin slot 10 and aflat spring slot 61 are formed inside one end of the lockingsleeve 6. Thepin slot 10 compriseshorizontal slots 101 and avertical slot 102, and thehorizontal slots 101 and thevertical slot 102 are interlinked. As shown inFIGS. 20 and 21 , thefemale end 5 is sleeved into one end of the lockingsleeve 6. Theflexible pin component 8 on thefemale end 5 enters from thehorizontal slots 101 and slides into thevertical slot 102 along thehorizontal slots 101. Rotation of the lockingsleeve 6 causes theflexible pin component 8 to act on a slot wall of thevertical slot 102 and theflat spring component 9 on thefemale end 5 to embed into theflat spring slot 61 of the lockingsleeve 6 and act on a slot wall of theflat spring slot 61, so that the chain 1, thefemale end 5 and the lockingsleeve 6 are assembled together. Theflat spring component 9 on thefemale end 5 acts on theflat spring slot 61 to achieve locking in horizontal direction, and theflexible pin component 8 on thefemale end 5 acts on thevertical slot 102 of thepin slot 10 to prevent thefemale end 5 from detaching due to rotation of the lockingsleeve 6 when worn. As a result, when a user wears the jewelry chain of the present invention, the clasp will not detach no matter how hard it is shaked. - To make the structure of the present invention more reasonable, as shown in
FIGS. 2 to 6 , the positioning through-hole 21 of thecharm 2 is formed by an innerannular slot 22 and apositioning ring 23 disposed at each of two ends of the innerannular slot 22. Theflexible positioning component 7 acts on a slot wall of the innerannular slot 22 of the positioning through-hole 21, so that thestop ring 3 of the present invention can enter from thepositioning ring 23 at one end of thecharm 2, then theflexible positioning component 7 of thestop ring 3 can restore to its original state in the innerannular slot 22 so that thecharm 2 can be sleeved on thestop ring 3 and will not detach from thestop ring 3 except by human action. - To moderate the amplitude of swing of the
stop ring 3 in the positioning through-hole 21, as shown inFIGS. 2 , 4, 5 and 7,positioning blades 24 are also provided on the innerannular slot 22 of the positioning through-hole 21. FIG. 12 , theflexible pin component 8 comprises twoflexible pins 81, and the twoflexible pins 81 are symmetrically mounted on thefemale end 5. - To make the structure of the present invention more reasonable and further optimize its positioning effect, as shown in
FIG. 12 , theflat spring component 9 comprises twoflat springs 91. As shown inFIG. 17 , each of theflat springs 91 has one end which forms a mountingportion 92 and another end which bends to form aflexible snap portion 93. The twoflat springs 91 are symmetrically mounted on thefemale end 5 through theirrespective mounting portions 92. As shown inFIG. 21 , when thefemale end 5 of the present invention is sleeved into the lockingsleeve 6, theflexible snap portions 93 of theflat springs 9 act on theflat spring slot 61 of the lockingsleeve 6 so as to secure thefemale end 5 in the lockingsleeve 6. - To make the structure of the present invention more reasonable, as shown in
FIG. 15 , one end of the lockingsleeve 6 is provided with thepin slot 10 and theflat spring slot 61. Thepin slot 10 is formed by twohorizontal slots 101 and avertical slot 102. Thevertical slot 102 and theflat spring slot 61 are annular slots along an inner periphery of the lockingsleeve 6. The twohorizontal slots 101 are symmetrically arranged and pass through theflat spring slot 61 respectively to interlink with thevertical slot 102. By means of this design, no matter how the lockingsleeve 6 is rotated, even if theflexible pin component 8 aligns with thehorizontal slots 101 by chance, thefemale end 5 still cannot detach from the lockingsleeve 6 under the effect of theflat spring component 9. Similary, when theflat spring component 9 aligns with thehorizontal slots 101, under the effect of theflexible pin component 8, thefemale end 5 cannot detach from the lockingsleeve 6. Only when theflexible pin component 8 aligns with thehorizontal slot 101 and a certain pulling force is exerted could theflat spring component 9 be compressed and thereby allowing theflexible pin component 8 to slide out along thehorizontal slots 101. Besides, under the effect of the pulling force, theflat spring component 9 is detached from theflat spring slot 61, which makes thefemale end 5 detach from the lockingsleeve 6. To embed theflat spring component 9 on thefemale end 5 of the present invention into theflat spring slot 61, as shown inFIGS. 14 and 15 , the lockingsleeve 6 is provided withshallow slots 64 which allows the passage of the flat spring. With theslots 103, when theflexible pin component 8 of the present invention slides from thehorizontal slots 101 into the interlinking part of thehorizontal slots 101 and thevertical slot 102, theflexible pin component 8 cooperates with theslots 103 to make noises and stop theflexible pin component 8 from sliding into thevertical slot 102 in one go. The user needs to apply force slightly to retract theflexible pin component 8 from theslots 103 and enter thevertical slot 102. Ultimately theflexible pin component 8 is embedded into theslots 103 in thevertical slot 102, making noises to inform the user that thefemale end 5 has already been secured in the lockingsleeve 6. With this design, the user can precisely know the sliding track of theflexible pin component 8. - To make the structure of the present invention more reasonable, as shown in
