Abstract

A wearable assembly provides a sock that attaches to a shoe while also providing a belt that matches both the sock and the shoe and can be worn around a user's waist. The assembly includes a shoe having an upper section and a sole section. The sole section is attached to and covers a bottom of the upper section. A top edge of the upper section defines an opening into an interior space of the upper section for receiving a foot of a wearer. A sock is coupled to the shoe.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURE Field of the Disclosure
  • The disclosure relates to clothing and accessory systems and more particularly pertains to a new clothing and accessory system for providing a sock that attaches to a shoe while also providing a belt that matches both the sock and the shoe and can be worn around a user's waist.
  • SUMMARY OF THE DISCLOSURE
  • An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a shoe having an upper section and a sole section. The sole section is attached to and covers a bottom of the upper section. A top edge of the upper section defines an opening into an interior space of the upper section for receiving a foot of a wearer. A sock is coupled to the shoe.
  • There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
  • The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
  • FIG. 1 is a top front side perspective view of a wearable assembly according to an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • FIG. 2 is a side view of a shoe of an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • FIG. 3 is a top view of a shoe of an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • FIG. 4 is a top front side perspective view of a belt of an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • FIG. 5 is an in-use view of an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 5 thereof, a new wearable clothing and accessory system embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.
  • As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 5, the wearable assembly 10 generally comprises a shoe 12 having an upper section 14 and a sole section 16. The sole section 16 is attached to and covers a bottom 18 of the upper section 14. The upper section 14 may be comprised of plastic, leather, canvas or other material conventionally used to manufacture the upper section 14 of shoes. The sole section 16 may be comprised of rubber, polyurethane, polyvinyl chloride or other material conventionally used to manufacture the sole section 16 of shoes. A top edge 20 of the upper section 14 defines an opening 22 into an interior space 24 of the upper section 14 wherein the interior space 24 is configured for receiving a foot of a wearer 26. The upper section 14 has a slot 28 positioned therein, as conventional found in athletic shoes. The slot 28 extends from a first end 30 of the top edge 20 toward a toe 32 of the shoe 12 and curves back around toward a second end 34 of the top edge 20.
  • A panel 36 is attached to the upper section 14 and extends between opposite sides 38, 40 of the slot 28. The panel 36 has a slit 42 extending downwardly into an upper edge 44 of the panel 36 defining a first side 46 of the panel 36 and a second side 48 of the panel 36. A closure 50 is attached to the panel 36 and releasably couples the first side 46 and the second side 48 of the panel 36 together. The closure 50 may comprise a zipper 52 attached to and coextensive with the slit 42. A tongue 54 is attached to the upper section 14. An upper surface 56 of the tongue 54 abuts a lower surface 58 of the panel 36.
  • A sock 60 is removably coupled to the shoe 12. The sock 60 is couplable to the shoe 12 proximate the top edge 20 of the upper section 14. The sock 60 has a first end 62 and a second end 64 that may each be open. A fastener 66 releasably couples the sock 60 to the shoe 12 and comprises a first mating member 68 attached to the sock 60 and a second mating member 70 attached to the shoe 12. The first mating member 68 is engageable with the second mating member 70 for releasably coupling the sock 60 to the shoe 12. The first mating member 68 is attached to the first end 62 of the sock 60. The second mating member 70 is attached to the shoe 12 proximate the top edge 20 of the upper section 14. The fastener 66 may comprise a zipper 72 wherein the first mating member 68 is attached to and coextensive with the first end 62 of the sock 60 and the second mating member 70 is attached to and may be coextensive with the top edge 20 of the upper section 14.
  • A belt 74 may be provided that is positionable in a closed loop 75 configured to be worn around a waist region 76 of the wearer 26. A coupler 78, such as a buckle, snaps or the like, is attached to the belt 74 for securing the belt 74 in the closed loop 75 around the wearer's waist region 76. The belt 74 has a first surface 80 opposite a second surface 82. The first surface 80 may have a same color as the sock 60 and a same color as an outer surface 84 of the upper section 14 so that the entire assembly 10 matches in color. In particular, the belt 74, the upper section 14 and the sock 60 may each have a fluorescent color. The second surface 82 of the belt 74 may be a different color from the color on the first surface 80 of the belt 74 so that the belt 74 is reversible. The belt 74 may be constructed from a flexible material, such as fabric, leather or the like.
  • In use, the sock 60 is attached to the shoe 12 and the shoe 12 is worn in conventional fashion. After use, the sock 60 can be detached from the shoe 12 for washing of the sock 60 or to permit the shoe 12 to be worn with a different sock. The belt 74 can be worn around the wearer's waist region 76 in a conventional manner.
  • With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
