Abstract
A wearable assembly provides a sock that attaches to a shoe while also providing a belt that matches both the sock and the shoe and can be worn around a user's waist. The assembly includes a shoe having an upper section and a sole section. The sole section is attached to and covers a bottom of the upper section. A top edge of the upper section defines an opening into an interior space of the upper section for receiving a foot of a wearer. A sock is coupled to the shoe.
Description
- The disclosure relates to clothing and accessory systems and more particularly pertains to a new clothing and accessory system for providing a sock that attaches to a shoe while also providing a belt that matches both the sock and the shoe and can be worn around a user's waist.
- An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a shoe having an upper section and a sole section. The sole section is attached to and covers a bottom of the upper section. A top edge of the upper section defines an opening into an interior space of the upper section for receiving a foot of a wearer. A sock is coupled to the shoe.
- There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
- The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
- The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
-
FIG. 1 is a top front side perspective view of a wearable assembly according to an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 2 is a side view of a shoe of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 3 is a top view of a shoe of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 4 is a top front side perspective view of a belt of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 5 is an in-use view of an embodiment of the disclosure. - With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
FIGS. 1 through 5 thereof, a new wearable clothing and accessory system embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by thereference numeral 10 will be described. - As best illustrated in
FIGS. 1 through 5 , thewearable assembly 10 generally comprises ashoe 12 having anupper section 14 and asole section 16. Thesole section 16 is attached to and covers abottom 18 of theupper section 14. Theupper section 14 may be comprised of plastic, leather, canvas or other material conventionally used to manufacture theupper section 14 of shoes. Thesole section 16 may be comprised of rubber, polyurethane, polyvinyl chloride or other material conventionally used to manufacture thesole section 16 of shoes. Atop edge 20 of theupper section 14 defines anopening 22 into aninterior space 24 of theupper section 14 wherein theinterior space 24 is configured for receiving a foot of awearer 26. Theupper section 14 has aslot 28 positioned therein, as conventional found in athletic shoes. Theslot 28 extends from afirst end 30 of thetop edge 20 toward atoe 32 of theshoe 12 and curves back around toward asecond end 34 of thetop edge 20. - A
panel 36 is attached to theupper section 14 and extends betweenopposite sides 38, 40 of theslot 28. Thepanel 36 has aslit 42 extending downwardly into anupper edge 44 of thepanel 36 defining afirst side 46 of thepanel 36 and asecond side 48 of thepanel 36. Aclosure 50 is attached to thepanel 36 and releasably couples thefirst side 46 and thesecond side 48 of thepanel 36 together. Theclosure 50 may comprise azipper 52 attached to and coextensive with theslit 42. Atongue 54 is attached to theupper section 14. Anupper surface 56 of thetongue 54 abuts alower surface 58 of thepanel 36. - A
sock 60 is removably coupled to theshoe 12. Thesock 60 is couplable to theshoe 12 proximate thetop edge 20 of theupper section 14. Thesock 60 has afirst end 62 and asecond end 64 that may each be open. Afastener 66 releasably couples thesock 60 to theshoe 12 and comprises afirst mating member 68 attached to thesock 60 and asecond mating member 70 attached to theshoe 12. Thefirst mating member 68 is engageable with thesecond mating member 70 for releasably coupling thesock 60 to theshoe 12. Thefirst mating member 68 is attached to thefirst end 62 of thesock 60. Thesecond mating member 70 is attached to theshoe 12 proximate thetop edge 20 of theupper section 14. Thefastener 66 may comprise azipper 72 wherein thefirst mating member 68 is attached to and coextensive with thefirst end 62 of thesock 60 and thesecond mating member 70 is attached to and may be coextensive with thetop edge 20 of theupper section 14. - A
belt 74 may be provided that is positionable in a closedloop 75 configured to be worn around awaist region 76 of thewearer 26. Acoupler 78, such as a buckle, snaps or the like, is attached to thebelt 74 for securing thebelt 74 in the closedloop 75 around the wearer'swaist region 76. Thebelt 74 has afirst surface 80 opposite asecond surface 82. Thefirst surface 80 may have a same color as thesock 60 and a same color as anouter surface 84 of theupper section 14 so that theentire assembly 10 matches in color. In particular, thebelt 74, theupper section 14 and thesock 60 may each have a fluorescent color. Thesecond surface 82 of thebelt 74 may be a different color from the color on thefirst surface 80 of thebelt 74 so that thebelt 74 is reversible. Thebelt 74 may be constructed from a flexible material, such as fabric, leather or the like. - In use, the
sock 60 is attached to theshoe 12 and theshoe 12 is worn in conventional fashion. After use, thesock 60 can be detached from theshoe 12 for washing of thesock 60 or to permit theshoe 12 to be worn with a different sock. Thebelt 74 can be worn around the wearer'swaist region 76 in a conventional manner. - With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
- Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
