Abstract

The present invention is about an elastic extensible rack for bathroom towels, curtains, or paper tissue rolls. Elastic devices are attached to the two ends of the rack. The distance between the rack and the wall is flexible due to such elastic devices. The rack itself can be divided to multiple sections like a telescope. There is an elastic device attached to each section so the entire length of the rack is adjustable.

Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates generally to racks, and more particularly, to bathroom towel racks.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention describes a towel rack with special designs so the distances from the bars in the rack to the wall are flexible.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The following presents a simplified summary in order to provide a basic understanding of one or more aspects of the invention. This summary is not an extensive overview of the invention, and is neither intended to identify key or critical elements of the invention, nor to delineate the scope thereof Rather, the primary purpose of the summary is to present some concepts of the invention in a simplified form as a prelude to the more detailed description that is presented later.
  • The present invention provides a towel rack with multiple bars and rotation wheels wrapped with elastic materials. The position of each bar is adjustable because it is connected to the wheel with springs wrapped around it. Both edges of the bars can be tied to multiple elastic wheels so the distances and angles of each bar may change. There can be multiple sections in each bar, like a telescope. This allows the bar to be foldable in order to save spaces.
  • To the accomplishment of the foregoing and related ends, the invention comprises the features hereinafter fully described and particularly pointed out in the claims. The following description and the annexed drawings set forth in detail certain illustrative aspects and implementations of the invention. These are indicative, however, of but a few of the various ways in which the principles of the invention may be employed. Other objects, advantages and novel features of the invention will become apparent from the following detailed description of the invention when considered in conjunction with the drawings.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 depicts a rack attached to a special device on a wall. The special device includes a wheel wrapped with elastic bands or materials. The distance between the rack and the wall is thus flexible due to the elastic nature (springs) of the rotating wheel.
  • FIG. 2 describes a wheel with two coaxial rings. The inner ring is oval. The outer ring is circular. There are suspension devices attached in between the two rings.
  • FIG. 3 shows describes more details regarding how the springs, elastic bands or other elastic materials can be wrapped around a wheel to provide flexibility to the positions of a rack.
  • FIG. 4 illustrates a special rack including tubes in the structure similar to a telescope, with each section or tube connected to the wheel with elastic materials. This way each section or tube in the telescope like rack can move separately and the distances between them to the wall are flexible due to the elastic materials wrapped around the wheel attached to a wall.
  • FIG. 5 describes a grooved structure where the rack can be placed in one of the grooves.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention will now be described with respect to the accompanying drawings in which like numbered elements represent like parts. The figures provided herewith and the accompanying description of the figures are merely provided for illustrative purposes. One of ordinary skill in the art should realize, based on the instant description, other implementations and methods for fabricating the devices and structures illustrated in the figures and in the following description.
  • The rack described in FIG. 1 is much more flexible compared to traditional racks because it can be pulled near or away from the wall through a string tied to an elastic wheel. Items, such as towels, can be placed on the racks or on the strings with expanded capacities due to such flexibility in dimensions and spaces.
  • When the rack is pulled from the elastic wheel, it can be placed in the established grooves attached to the wall, as shown in FIG. 5.
  • Both the racks and the grooves can be constructed with adjustable lengths similar to a telescope. This type of adjustable telescope like structure is designed to save space and improves how the system looks and how it fits the bathroom or other locations in a house.
  • Although the invention has been shown and described with respect to a certain aspect or various aspects, it is obvious that equivalent alterations and modifications will occur to others skilled in the art upon the reading and understanding of this specification and the annexed drawings. In particular regard to the various functions performed by the above described components (assemblies, devices, circuits, etc.), the terms (including a reference to a “means”) used to describe such components are intended to correspond, unless otherwise indicated, to any component which performs the specified function of the described component (i.e., that is functionally equivalent), even though not structurally equivalent to the disclosed structure which performs the function in the herein illustrated exemplary embodiments of the invention. In addition, while a particular feature of the invention may have been disclosed with respect to only one of several aspects of the invention, such feature may be combined with one or more other features of the other aspects as may be desired and advantageous for any given or particular application. Furthermore, to the extent that the term “includes” is used in either the detailed description or the claims, such term is intended to be inclusive in a manner similar to the term “comprising.”

Claims (5)

1. The bar of a bathroom towel rack is connected through a cord to elastic materials wrapped around a rotation wheel attached to the wall.
2. The rack of claim 1, wherein multiple bars are connected through thin cords to rotation wheels wrapped with elastic materials.
3. The rack of claim 1, wherein the wheel can be of an oval shape or a circular shape, wrapped with springs or elastic materials along its rim.
4. The rack of claim 1, wherein there are multiple sections in each bar (similar to a telescope), and each section is connected through a thin cord to a rotation wheel wrapped with elastic materials.
5. The rack of claim 1, wherein both ends of a bar are connected to rotation wheels wrapped with elastic materials.
