Description
- 1. Technical Field
- The present disclosure relates to a server cabinet.
- 2. Description of Related Art
- Server cabinets usually include a base, a cover, and a plurality of supporting poles mounted between the base and the cover. However, the length of the supporting poles cannot be changed.
- Many aspects of the present embodiments can be better understood with reference to the following drawings. The components in the drawings are not necessarily drawn to scale, the emphasis instead being placed upon clearly illustrating the principles of the present embodiments. Moreover, in the drawings, all the views are schematic, and like reference numerals designate corresponding parts throughout the several views.
-
FIG. 1 is an exploded, isometric view of an embodiment of a server cabinet. -
FIG. 2 is an enlarged view of the circled portion II ofFIG. 1 . -
FIG. 3 is an assembled, isometric view of the server cabinet ofFIG. 1 . -
FIG. 4 is similar toFIG. 3 , but shows a different state of use. - The present disclosure, including the accompanying drawings, is illustrated by way of examples and not by way of limitation. It should be noted that references to “an” or “one” embodiment in this disclosure are not necessarily to the same embodiment, and such references mean “at least one.”
-
FIGS. 1 and 2 show an embodiment of aserver cabinet 100 comprising a substantiallyrectangular bottom wall 20, four substantially U-shapedcross-sections supporting poles 30, four adjustingapparatuses 50, and acover 60. The four supportingpole 30 extend substantially perpendicularly up from four corners of thebottom wall 20, - Each supporting
pole 30 comprises a rectangular supportingplate 32 extending up from thebottom wall 20, twoside plates 33 perpendicularly extending inward from two opposite sides of the supportingplate 32, and twoflanges 35 protruding toward each other from distal sides of theside plates 33 opposite to the supportingplate 32. The supportingplate 32, theside plates 33, and theflanges 35 cooperatively bound a receivingslot 36. Distal ends of theside plates 33 define two pairs of throughholes 332. - Each adjusting
assembly 50 comprises a substantially U-shapedcross-section sliding member 52 and fourfasteners 53. The slidingmember 52 comprises a rectangularsliding plate 522, twopositioning plates 523 extending substantially perpendicularly out from two opposite sides of thesliding plate 522, and astopping portion 526 protruding up from a top of thepositioning plates 523. Thepositioning plates 523 define a plurality ofposition holes 525 arrayed along a lengthwise direction of thepositioning plates 523. - Each
fastener 53 can comprise ascrew 532 and anut 533. -
FIG. 3 shows that in assembly of theserver cabinet 100, bottom ends of the slidingmembers 52 are inserted into thereceiving slots 36 until the stoppingportions 526 are stopped on the top ends of the corresponding supportingpoles 30. Thesliding plates 522 are slidably engaged with inner surfaces of the supportingplates 32, thepositioning plates 523 are slidably engaged with inner surfaces of theside plates 33, and thepositioning holes 525 align with the throughholes 332. Thescrews 532 extend through the throughholes 332 and thecorresponding positioning holes 525, to engage with thenuts 533. Thecover 60 is mounted on the top ends of the slidingmembers 52. -
FIG. 4 shows that in use, eachfastener 53 is disengaged from the corresponding supportingpoles 30. The slidingmembers 52 are slid along thecorresponding receiving slots 36, until theserver cabinet 100 reaches a predetermined height. Thescrews 532 extend through the throughholes 332 and thecorresponding positioning holes 525, to engage with thenuts 533. - Even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the embodiments have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and function of the embodiments, the present disclosure is illustrative only, and changes may be made in detail, especially in the matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the embodiments to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
