Abstract
A flying toy comprising a bistable spring metal land that has two separate states coiled state, when formed around the wrist or a human limb, it becomes a wristband, as the bistable spring coils tip to form fit the limb. In an elongated state, when it is uncoiled, it becomes a flying toy, which can be thrown and flown between two or more people
Description
- This invention relates to a so-called “Frisbee” like object made to fly, specifically to an improved method of portability to be able to be attached to a person's wrist. Flying toy objects have been around to try and occupy children and adults for hours of fun, throwing a circular pan shaped object back and forth between two or more people. A circular pan shaped object well popularized by the trademark Frisbee. “Frisbee” like objects are rigid, cumbersome, difficult to carry or store and most importantly easily forgotten to be packed when traveling. Trademark SLAPWRAP™ exists and uses a bistable spring metal band that allows the metal to transform into two separate states, coiled and elongated. The present invention the Flying Toy Wrist Band is able to be put on your wrist instantly to be carried anywhere and just as quickly it can be released to be used as a flying toy unlike other similar toys that only become wrist bands or only flying toys. There are known inventions that use the SLAPWRAP™ technology and trademark. The Flying Toy Wrist Band is an improvement on U.S. Pat. No. 6,220,916 and U.S. Pat. No. 0,155,389 in that it allows the user to transport the Flying Toy Wrist Band strapped on your wrist by way of the bistable spring metal band. The Flying Toy Band is also an improvement on the above mentioned patents by the fact that when uncoiled it becomes an instant toy which can be used like a “Frisbee” like object to be thrown and flown between two or more people. The Flying Toy Wrist band completely differs from a “Frisbee” like object since its shape is not circular, rather it is an elongated shape.
- The Flying Toy Wrist Band is an elongated object that can be thrown between multiple people like a “Frisbee”. A “Frisbee” and the Flying Toy Wrist Band are only similar in the method of usage. The Flying Toy Wrist Band is unique in its shape and ease of transport capability. The present invention the Flying Toy Wrist Band provides a flying toy to be used in the same method as a “Frisbee”. The Flying Toy Wrist Band also transforms into a wrist band by way of the use of slap bracelet technology which also uses the bistable spring metal, which are most commonly sold under the commercial trademark name SLAPWRAP™.
