Abstract
Trousers sewn from same fabric include a trouser body sewn from at least one flexible fabric that has a trouser trunk to cover a wearer's leg and a trouser head to encircle wearer's waist. The trouser head includes a trouser head fastener and a housing space formed inside thereof and extended along the wearer's waist. The housing space has two distal ends corresponding to two sides of the trouser head fastener and also holds an elastic strap inside. The elastic strap has two sewing sections sewn on the trouser body corresponding to the two distal ends. The elastic strap and the trouser head fastener are formed at a combined length same as the length of the trouser head. Thus the trouser head and the trouser trunk are adjustable at the same time according to wearer's body shape.
Description
- The present invention relates to garments especially for casual pants, jeans or suit trousers, and more particularly to trousers made from same fabric by sewing.
- People's taste on clothing changes from time to time. Nowadays the fashion of clothes mainly focus on fit tailoring to suit body shape and highlight the curvy body profile. However, changes of eating cultures and habits also easily make people to eat too much and result in overweight or obesity. People's waist is the most notable portion of the body where the symptom of overweight is showing. In other words, the change of people's waistline is often very significant. This often causes the clothes that were quite fit before become too tight and uncomfortable to wear in a short period of time. This is especially noticeable for the suits. To overcome this problem a proposal of using an elastic band has been provided in the past, such as U.S. Pat. Nos. 6,237,160 and 2,059,103 and Taiwan Patent Nos. M450239 and M299483. They all try to fix the problem of change of wearer's waistline. But using the elastic band creates another problem of producing rumples at the trouser head. This makes a suit looks like a causal wear or sport wear, and not very appealing. Although the elastic band proposed in M450239 is located corresponding to wearer's rear waist portion to trim the curvy lines of the waist and buttocks to partly match the change of the waistline caused by deformation of wearer's waist, the fabric of the trousers eventually converges to the front crotch area and produces rumples thereon when the elastic band is stretched due to deformation. As a result, it still cannot create a desired visual appeal of fitting the body. This is mainly caused by the trousers being made by sewing of different materials.
- The primary object of the present invention is to overcome the problem of the conventional trousers made by sewing of different fabrics that are unable to provide a desirable visual appeal even if they are adjustable to the change of wearer's girth.
- To achieve the foregoing object the present invention provides trousers sewn from same fabric that includes a trouser body sewn from at least one flexible fabric that has a trouser trunk to cover a wearer's leg and a trouser head to encircle wearer's waist. The trouser head includes a trouser head fastener and a housing space formed in the trouser head and extended along the wearer's waist. The housing space has two distal ends corresponding to two sides of the trouser head fastener. Furthermore, the housing space holds an elastic strap inside that has two sewing sections sewn on the trouser body corresponding to the two distal ends. The elastic strap and the trouser head fastener are formed at a combined length same as the length of the trouser head.
- In one embodiment the elastic strap is formed at a width smaller than that of the housing space.
- In another embodiment the elastic strap is formed at a width same as the housing space.
- In yet another embodiment the elastic strap has two side waist sewing sections corresponding to wearer's side waist portions.
- In yet another embodiment the elastic strap has at least one rear waist sewing section corresponding to wearer's rear waist portion.
- In yet another embodiment the elastic strap has a plurality of spaced fastening sewing sections corresponding to the trouser head to sew on the trouser body.
- In yet another embodiment the elastic strap and the flexible fabric have elasticity coefficients that differ in a range from 0 to 5%.
- In yet another embodiment the trouser head fastener can be a zipper or a button.
- The invention, through the structure set forth above, compared with the conventional trousers, provides features as follows:
- 1. With the elastic strap held in the housing space of the trouser head, the elasticity of the elastic strap can make the trouser head to extend or shrink according to wearer's waistline, hence overcomes the problem of the conventional trousers that cannot be changed with alterations of the wearer's waistline that might result in unfit for wearing when wearer's body shape changes.
- 2. Since the elasticity coefficient of the elastic strap is same as the flexible fabric which the trouser body is sewn, and the combined length of the elastic strap and the trouser head fastener is same as length of the trouser body, the trouser head can maintain fitand smooth in normal conditions or is adjustable on the girth to suit wearer's body, thereby can overcome the problem of the conventional trousers of unable to provide neat and smooth trouser head to fit wearer's body when adjusting the girth is needed.
- 3. Since the trouser body is made by sewing of same fabric, namely the flexible fabric in the present invention, the trouser head and the trouser trunk can generate same amount of deformation, hence the trousers can form a fit and neat total appearance to enhance appeal.
- The foregoing, as well as additional objects, features and advantages of the invention will be more readily apparent from the following detailed description, which proceeds with reference to the accompanying drawings.
-
FIG. 1 is a schematic view of an embodiment of the trousers sewn from same fabric according to the invention. -
FIG. 2 is a schematic view of an embodiment of the trouser body of the trousers sewn from same fabric according to the invention. -
FIG. 3 is a fragmentary sectional view of an embodiment of the trouser body of the trousers sewn from same fabric according to the invention. -
FIG. 4 is a schematic view of another embodiment of the trouser body of the trousers sewn from same fabric according to the invention. - The present invention aims to provide trousers sewn from same fabric, especially for casual pants, jeans and suit trousers. Please referring to
FIGS. 1 , 2 and 3, the trousers according to the invention includes atrouser body 1 made by sewing at least one flexible fabric. Thetrouser body 1 includes atrouser trunk 11 to cover a leg of awearer 2 and atrouser head 12 to encircle the waist of thewearer 2. More specifically, thetrouser body 1 is formed by sewing the flexible fabric to include thetrouser trunk 11 and thetrouser head 12. Thetrouser head 12 includes atrouser head fastener 121 and ahousing space 122 located in thetrouser head 12 and extended around the waist of thewearer 2. Thehousing space 122 has twodistal ends 123 corresponding to two sides of thetrouser head fastener 121. Furthermore, thetrouser head fastener 121 can be a button or a zipper. Thehousing space 122 is formed by sewing an inverted folding of a portion of the flexible fabric when thetrouser body 1 is sewn to form thetrouser head 12. In addition, thehousing space 122 holds anelastic strap 13 inside that has twosewing sections 131 sewn on thetrouser body 1 corresponding to the twodistal ends 123. In other words, theelastic strap 13 has two ends sewn on the twodistal ends 123 of thehousing space 122 to form thesewing sections 131. To ensure that thetrouser head 12 does not deform that might affect the visual appeal of the trousers, theelastic strap 13 has elasticity coefficient substantially same as that of the flexible fabric. Namely, the total length of theelastic strap 13 and thetrouser head fastener 121 is same as the length of thetrouser head 12, that also is the waistline based on which thewearer 2 buys the trousers. Thus, when theelastic strap 13 deforms while thewearer 2 puts on the trousers theelastic strap 13 and the flexible fabric change same amount of deformation, thereby provide neat and fit visual sight. Moreover, in practice, the elasticity coefficients of theelastic strap 13 and the flexible fabric can differ in a range from 0 to 5%. - As previously discussed, the
elastic strap 13 held in thehousing space 122 has merely the twosewing sections 131 sewn on thetrouser body 1, namely, theelastic strap 13 is movable in thehousing space 122. However, theelastic strap 13 can be formed at a width smaller than or equal to the width of thehousing space 122. Moreover, theelastic strap 13, aside from sewn on thetrouser body 1 via thesewing sections 131, can also provide a rear waist sewing section 132 (also referring toFIG. 4 ) sewn on thetrouser body 1 corresponding to the rear waist portion of thewearer 2, or a sidewaist sewing section 133 sewn ontrouser body 1 corresponding to each of two side waist portions of thewearer 2. In addition, theelastic strap 13 can further provide a plurality of spaced fastening sewing sections corresponding to thetrouser head 12 and sewn thereon, namely theelastic strap 13 can be fixedly sewn in thehousing space 122 through the multiple spaced sections. - As a conclusion, the trousers sewn from same fabric according to the invention is especially suitable for making casual pants, jeans or suit trousers. The trousers have a trouser body formed by sewing at least one flexible fabric. The trouser body has a trouser trunk to cover a wearer's leg and a trouser head to encircle the wearer's waist. The trouser head includes a trouser head fastener and a housing space formed inside thereof and extended along the wearer's waist. The housing space has two distal ends corresponding to two sides of the trouser head fastener, and also holds an elastic strap inside. The elastic strap has two sewing sections sewn on the trouser body corresponding to the two distal ends of the housing space. The elastic strap and the trouser head fastener form a combined length same as the length of the trouser head. The elastic strap and the flexible fabric also have same elasticity coefficient. Therefore, the trouser head and the trouser trunk of the trousers made from the same fabric are adjustable at the same time according to wearer's body shape and also adjustable to match wearer's waistline.
