Abstract
A storage stool provided includes a stool stand and a stool lid. The stool stand includes a bottom face and a side wall extending upward along the bottom face edge. The bottom face and the side wall together form a storage chamber with an upper end having an opening. The side wall includes an inner face layer, an outer surface layer and an interlayer clamped between the former two. The interlayer has at least one layer made of a rigid material. The bottom of the stool stand is detachably connected to a rotary base. With a paperboard as the interlayer of the side wall, the storage stool is greatly improved in bearing capacity and safer in use. With the rotary base at the bottom, the stool stand can rotate 360°, so users can change direction without adjusting their sitting posture. The use is very convenient.
Description
- 1. Technical Field
- The application relates to the field of storage suppliers, specifically to a storage stool.
- 2. Description of Related Art
- Storage stools are a kind of novel household storage supplies and have around, polygonal, square and rectangular shapes. A typical storage stool comprises a stool stand and a stool lid. The stool stand is provided with a storage chamber with an opening upward. The stool lid is moveably covered on the stool stand. Items can be placed into or taken out from the storage chamber when the stool lid is removed. The storage stool can also be used as a stool when the stool lid is installed. The existing storage stools usually have the following defects: 1. The load bearing capability is poor, and the use is unsafe; 2. The stool lid and the stool stand are unstably integrated and easy to move relatively; 3. The manufacturing is difficult, for example, folding the edge of the stool lid to form a lid edge.
- To overcome defects in the prior, the technical problem to be solved by the application is to provide a storage stool with a good bearing capacity and safe and convenient to use.
- To solve the mentioned technical problem, the application adopts the following technical scheme:
- A storage stool comprises a stool stand and a stool lid. The stool stand comprises a bottom face and a side wall extending upward along the bottom face edge. The bottom face and the side wall together form a storage chamber with the upper end having an opening. The side wall includes an inner face layer, an outer surface layer and an interlayer clamped between the former two. The interlayer has at least one layer made of a rigid material. The bottom of the stool stand is detachably connected to a rotary base.
- Wherein, the rigid material is hard paperboard.
- Wherein, the inner face layer and the outer face layer are connected as a whole.
- Wherein, the bottom face is provided with a rigid plate matched with the bottom of the storage chamber in shape, and the edge of the rigid plate is connected to the bottom of the inner face layer.
- Wherein, the lower surface of the stool lid is convexly provided with a cover plate matched with the opening of the storage chamber.
- Wherein, the rotary base is made of plastic.
- In comparison with the prior art, the application has the following advantages: the side wall uses the rigid material (hard paperboard) as the interlayer, so the bearing capacity is greatly improved, and use is safer; the bottom is supported by a rigid plate such that the whole structure is more stable and not easy to deform; the edge of the rigid plate is connected to the bottom of the inner face layer of the side wall, bringing convenience to dismantling; the stool lid engages with the storage chamber through the cover plate and therefore does not move relative to the stool stand and is more stably integrated, and the edge of the stool liquid is not required to be turned such that the production difficulty is greatly reduced and the production efficiency is improved; moreover, the bottom of the stool stand is provided with a rotary base allowing 360° rotation, so users can change direction without adjusting their posture. The storage stool is convenient.

- The technical contents, structural characteristics, objectives and effects of the application are described in detail accompanying the following embodiments and attached drawings.
- Refer to
FIGS. 1 to 4 . A storage stool is provided, comprising a stool stand 1 and astool lid 2. Thestool stand 1 comprises a bottom face 10 and a side wall 11 extending upward along the bottom face edge 10. The bottom face 10 and the side wall 11 together form a storage chamber with the upper end having an opening. The side wall 11 comprises aninner face layer 110, anouter surface layer 111 and an interlayer between theinner face layer 110 and theouter face layer 111. The interlayer has at least one layer made of a rigid material. The bottom of thestool stand 1 is detachably connected to a rotary base 3. - In the above embodiment, the
stool stand 1 may be round, polygonal, square or rectangular, preferably round. The side wall 11 is sandwich structure, and the number of layers of theinner face layer 110 and theouter face layer 111 thereof may be one or above. The layers may be made of cloth, leather or artificial leather. The materials of each layer may be identical or different. The materials of the inner face layer 10 and theouter face layer 111 may be identical or different. The selection is specifically made upon design needs. Theinner face layer 110 and theouter face layer 111 may be integrally connected at the top and bottom to form a closed space so as to clad the interlayer in the closed space. The number of the interlayer may be one or above; the materials of the interlayer may be identical or different, but at least one of the interlayer is made of the rigid material; and the rigid material is preferably hard paperboard to provide enough supporting strength and reduce the production cost. In this embodiment, the interlayer is preferably hard paperboard to simplify the structure and reduce the production cost, while the type and thickness of the hard paperboard are selected upon bearing needs. - In the above embodiment, the bottom face 10 is provided with a
rigid plate 112 to ensure that the overall structure is more stable and not easy to deform. The shape of therigid plate 112 is matched with the bottom of the storage chamber. The edge of therigid plate 112 is connected to the bottom of theinner face layer 110, while the bottom of theinner face layer 110 is separated from the bottom face 10. Refer toFIG. 3 for dismantling and assembling. Therigid plate 112 is connected to the bottom of theinner face layer 110, so theinner face layer 110 of the side wall 11 turns outward when therigid plate 112 is taken out, thereby bringing convenience to cleaning and keeping the storage chamber clean; and theinner face layer 110 covers on the chamber wall of the storage chamber formed on the interlayer again when therigid plate 112 is slipped onto the bottom face 10 of the storage chamber. Wherein, therigid plate 112 may also be a sandwich structure. The inner face layer and outer face layer thereof are made of a material identical to that of the inner face layer of the side wall 11, and then therigid plate 112 is connected to the bottom of theinner face 110 by sewing. The interlayer may be paperboard, plastic or other rigid sheet. - In the above embodiment, to make the storage stool more comfortable, the
stool lid 2 preferably adopts a sandwich structure of the surface layer may be made of the cloth, leather or artificial leather and the interlayer is preferably made of foam, in particular PU foam. - In the above embodiment, the lower surface of the
stool lid 2 is convexly provided with acover plate 20 matched with the opening of the storage chamber. The peripheries of thecover plate 20 are just pressed against the inner surface of the side wall 11 when thestool lid 2 is fastened on thestool stand 1, such that thestool lid 2 and thestool stand 1 do not move relatively and stably integrated; meanwhile, the edge of thestool lid 2 is not required to be turned to form a cover edge, thereby greatly reducing the production difficulty and improving the production efficiency. - In the above embodiment, the bottom of the
stool stand 1 is detachably connected to arotary base 2. The rotary base 3 is preferably made of plastic. The stool stand can rotate 360° in use such that users can change direction without adjusting their sitting posture. Thus, the storage stool is convenient. - The above mentioned description is only an embodiment of the application and cannot limit the application. Any equivalent structure or equivalent flow made according to the specification and attached drawings of the application, or direct or indirect application in other related technical fields shall be incorporated in the protection scope of the application.
