Abstract

The present invention may be used for achieving an even suntan on the front portion of the legs and both sides of the legs while sunbathing, to position each leg in the upright position to help achieve an even suntan. Each loop on the apparatus may be placed over the body of each big toe, legs may be separated apart to their maximum length of the apparatus to achieve the upright position of the legs/feet, at that point the sunbather may relax their legs in the upright position which will allow the apparatus to give the legs total support which will not allow the legs to fall to the sides when the sunbather relaxes their legs but in turn this will not allow the sunbather to hold their legs up in the upright position on the sunbather own strength, the sunbather may completely relax while sunbathing.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE SUNBATHING APPARATUS
  • The invention related to the apparatus which helps assist a sunbather to receive an even suntan on the front portion of their legs and to each side of their legs while sunbathing.
  • Use of the apparatus is to help keep both legs/feet in the upright position while laying on the sunbathers back either on a reclining pool chair at pool side or at the beach or lake side or on flat pool decking or sand etc.. May be used on a floating device in a pool or at the beach or lake side or while tanning in a tanning salon. The apparatus while sunbathing allows the front portion of the legs and both sides of the legs to help receive an even suntan by attaching the apparatus to the each big toe of the feet, which will be explained in paragraph (003).
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention is directed to an apparatus for helping to receive an even suntan on the front portions of the legs and both sides of the while sunbathing by laying on ones back. The apparatus is comprised of a 12 inch wax string cord, string, thin cord, or a thin flexible material etc. but not of rigid material with a 5½ inch loop at each end (see drawing). Each loop is made up of soft medical grade tubing, soft plastic tubing, soft hose, or soft tubing of flexible material etc. but not of rigid material. Each loop is placed over the body of each big toe while the sunbather of the apparatus then spreads their legs out to the maximum length of the apparatus until the wax string cord, string, thin cord or a thin flexible material etc. but not of a rigid material, is taunt to where the legs and feet are in the upright position. When the user of the apparatus has reached this upright position with their legs and feet, the user then may relax their legs while the apparatus keeps their legs and feet in the upright position and this will allow the sunbather to totally relax their legs while sunbathing and not having to keep the legs in the upright position on their own strength.
  • These and other features, aspects and advantages of the present invention will become better understood with reference to the following drawings, description and claims.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 illustrates a perspective view of the apparatus as was outlined in paragraph (0003) according to an embodiment of the invention.
  • FIG. 2 illustrates a side elevation view of apparatus according to an embodiment of the invention.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • The following details and description represent the best currently contemplation modes caring out the invention. The description is not to be taken in a limited sense, but is made merely for the purpose of illustrating the general principles of the invention.
  • Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 a sunbathing apparatus 01, 02 and 03 that may be elongated that may be made of 01 a wax string cord, string, thin cord or of thin flexible material etc. but not of rigid material and 02 and 03 may be made of soft medical grade tubing, soft plastic tubing, soft hose or soft tubing of flexible material etc. but not of rigid material. The body 01, 02 and 03 may have a separation distance to fit comfortably between each foot as described in paragraph (0003). For example, the body 01, 02 and 03 may be approximately 16 inches in length including the two looped ends. The apparatus may be removed from each big toe by the sunbather when not in use. The sunbathing apparatus may be used by all ages but not recommended for children. The material colors of the apparatus may come in clear or colored material.
  • While the invention has been particularly shown and described with respect to the illustrated embodiment thereof, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that the forgoing form and details may be made therein without departing from the spirit and the scope of the invention.

Claims (3)

1. An apparatus for helping to achieve an even suntan on the front portion of the legs and each side of the legs while the sunbather is laying on the back while sunbathing.
2. The apparatus comprised of 01, a wax string cord, string, thin cord, or of a thin flexible material but not of rigid material etc. is attached to a loop at each end. The looped ends 02 and 03 may be made up of soft medical grade tubing, soft plastic tubing, soft hose or soft tubing of flexible material etc. but not of rigid material.
3. The 01, wax string cord, string, thin cord or of thin flexible material etc. but not of rigid material is looped through the two looped ends 02 and 03 and fixed in place to secure the wax string cord, string, thin cord or of a thin flexible material but not of rigid material to the soft medical grade tubing, soft plastic tubing, soft hose or a soft tubing of flexible material etc. but not of rigid material to each looped end. This makes up the sunbathing apparatus.
