Abstract

A solar Heat system that produces direct heat, and shades the bright sun's rays that come through your existing glass areas, such as windows, doors, etc. The Solar Heat Film can be hung easily on the interior trim of windows, doors, etc. With two pieces of tape, or any other simple method, the Solar Heat Film can be put on to a shade roll to make it functional, or it will be sold as a Solar Heat Shade. The system utilizes the room, house and structure as a battery to store the heat gain. The extra heat will slowly absorb into the floors, walls, ceiling, furniture, etc. When the sun goes down, the furnace does not come on until later, and when it does it's just maintaining the temperature instead of trying to capture it up, this creates a big difference in fuel savings.

    RELATED APPLICATION
  • This application claims the of U.S. Provisional Applications No. 61/633,526, filed Feb. 13, 2012, wherein this application is herein incorporated in its entirety by reference.
  • FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The invention relates to solar heating, and more particularly through glass structures or objects like: windows, doors, walls, etc.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • Solar heat has been around from the beginning of the earth. Early man felt the power of the sun and found South face caves to live in. Over the years they started to build structures catch the sun raise better in the colder months.
  • Now solar heating is more important to day to help save the planet. The development of new ways to heat by solar and keep it cheap and affordable
  • Solar heating development has been based on capturing the power of the sun and containing it in sealed closed structures, like an oven or a furnace, to gain the highest temperatures from the sun. Then the head is distributed through manual and mechanical valves, to holding tanks or some type of heating system.
  • As like other solar systems, storing the heat gain is a large factor. This makes systems costly and also needs large areas and insulated containers to store the heat.
  • These solar systems need to be monitored, and manually or mechanically controlled, constantly.
  • What is needed, therefore, is a system that enhances and simplifies all the components of all existing systems. Also one that is easy to setup, take down, store and it's maintenance is free.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • One embodiment of the present invention provides a Solar Film/Shade that produces the most amount of heat from the sun's rays using your existing windows, doors or glass areas.
  • One embodiment of the invention, Solar Heat Film, is that the film can be easily hung with two pieces of tape, by hooks, or by any other simple hanging procedure.
  • One embodiment of the invention is that the Solar Heat Shade could be added to a shade roll or be purchased with a shade roll, making it functional to open or close easily.
  • One embodiment of the invention is that the Solar Heat Film/Shade is black on both sides, in the same locations. By having the black on both sides of the whit fabric, it creates a motion to draw the most heat gain straight through the Solar Heat Film/Shade. This brings it directly into the structure you are trying to heat.
  • Another embodiment of the Solar Heat Film/Shade is the white part. The white part is the base material of the system. It's function is to let the heat pass through it. The white fabric does not capture or contain heat, it lets the heat flow inward.
  • According to one embodiment of the present invention, the white part is to shade the bright sun's rays. The white fabric lets a comfortable amount of light into your room or structure.

  • FIG. 1 illustrates the Solar Heat Film hanging from the interior trim of a window configured in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • REFERRING TO FIG. 1, one embodiment of the present invention of the Solar Heat Film 10 shows the Solar Heat Film 10 hanging from two pieces of tape, 11 on the interior trim of a window. 12, in this illustration, the black stripes. 13 are on both sides in the same location, the white stripes 14, are the base fabric that lets the light come through shaded.
  • REFERRING TO FIG. 2, one embodiment of the present invention of the Solar Heat Shade 20, shows Solar Heat Film 21, on a shade roll 22. The bottom illustration shows the Solar Heat Shade 20, hanging from the interior trim of a window 23. The black heat stripes 24, are on both sides in the same location. The white stripes 25, are the base fabric that lets the light come through shaded.

Claims (9)

What is claimed is:
1. Solar Heat Film, compromising of:
a film that produces heat from the sun's rays using your existing windows, doors or glass areas. The Solar Heat Film can be hung by two pieces of tape, or by any other method on to the interior trim of a window, door or glass area.
2. Solar Heat Shade, comprising of:
wherein the Solar Heat Film can be put onto a shade roll and it will be sold as a shade, making it functional to open and close.
3. The system of claims 1 and 2 wherein the white base fabric area shades the sunlight to a comfortable brightness to the room of structure.
4. The system of claims 1 and 2 wherein the black areas, that are on both sides of the white fabric, are in the same locations. That creates motion to draw the most heat gain straight through the system.
5. The system of claims 1 and 2 utilizes the room, house and structure as a battery to store the heat gain. The extra heat will slowly absorb into the floors, walls, ceiling, furniture, etc.
6. The system of claims 1 and 2 wherein is maintenance free, easy to install, take down and store, making the system very efficient.
7. The system of claims 4 wherein the black areas could also be selected to have any type of print pattern to make it more appealing.
8. The system of claims 4 wherein the black areas of the material can be selected from, or be a mixture of ink, paint, tar, rubber, sand, dirt, gypsum, wood, metal, synthetics, stains, dyes, carbon and oil.
9. The system of claims 3 wherein the white material can be selected from the groups consisting of: cotton, synthetic fiber, natural fiber, plastic, woven material, mesh, silks, polyesters, tweed, wool, yarn, leather, suede, paper, recyclables, cotton/algodon, canvas, burlap, organic, Tyvek, latex, PVC, bamboo, rubber, foam, cloth, hemp, animal skin, and combinations of said materials. This can also be multi-layered.
