Abstract
A pinless hair grip with hidden spring includes two gripping bodies and a spring body. Each griping body respectively includes a gripping member and a covering member which is connected with the gripping member. The two gripping bodies are pivoted with each other by pivotally connecting the two covering members, and a hidden space is provided within the covering member along a pivoting axis of the two covering members. The spring body is provided within the hidden space and is covered by the covering member, and two ends of the spring body respectively contact the two gripping bodies to open or close the gripping member of the two gripping bodies. Thereby the spring body within the gripping body is hidden from being viewed so as to improve the aesthetic feeling of the hair grip and to prevent hairs from being teared by the spring body.
Description
- This application claims priority to Taiwanese Patent Application No. 102201226, filed Jan. 18, 2013, which is hereby incorporated by reference.
- The present invention relates to a hair grip, and more particularly to a comfortable pinless hair grip with hidden spring.
- Hair is likened to the second face of the female. Women having a beautiful shiny hair are more charming and confident. Beauty is the woman's nature, so various hair decorations are used for setting and beautifying hairs. The design of various hair decorations, such as hairpins, flexible hair loops, hair bands, and hair grips, are kept improving regarding the effect of esthetic and usability. A hair grip with two gripping bodies is popular because of its convenience.
- Although there are various kinds of hair grips in the market, the structure of these hair grips are seldom to be changed. As shown in
FIG. 9 , theconventional hair grip 700 includes twogripping bodies 7, aspring body 8, and apin 9. The assembling method of theconventional hair grip 700 is described as follows. Thepin 9 is inserted into thespring body 8 and its two ends are fixed with the grippingbody 7. Since the gripping force of thespring body 8, the twogripping bodies 7 are restricted with each other for gripping hairs between the two grippingbodies 7. - However, the
spring body 8 of theconventional hair grip 700 appears outside, and thus thespring body 8 may be in contact with hairs to tear the hairs while thehair grip 700 is used. The exposedspring body 8 also affects aesthetic feeling. And thepin 9, which is an important elements for connecting thespring body 8 and the twogripping bodies 7, may easily released from thehair grip 700, while thehair grip 700 is used. It then causes thehair grip 700 functionless. - Accordingly, the present invention overcomes the drawbacks of the prior art, and provides a pinless hair grip with hidden spring of which the spring body is located within the gripping body and is hidden from being viewed. It also prevents the hairs from being teared by the spring body.
- The pinless hair grip with hidden spring includes two gripping bodies and a spring body. Each griping body respectively includes a gripping member and a covering member which is connected with the gripping member. The two gripping bodies are pivoted with each other by pivotally connecting the two covering members, and a hidden space is provided within the covering member along a pivoting axis of the two covering members. The spring body is provided within the hidden space and is covered by the covering member, and two ends of the spring body respectively contact the two gripping bodies to open or close the gripping member of the two gripping bodies.
- According to an embodiment of the present invention, the gripping body further includes a pressing member extending from the gripping member.
- According to an embodiment of the present invention, the gripping body further includes a clasping member extending from the gripping member.
- According to an embodiment of the present invention, it further comprises a sealing capping member being engaged with the covering member.
- According to an embodiment of the present invention, the inner surface of the gripping member is provided with a plurality of gripping teeth.
- According to an embodiment of the present invention, the inner surface of the gripping member is provided with a flexible non-slip part.
- According to an embodiment of the present invention, the covering body is provided with a positioning trough for engaging the two ends of the spring body with each other.
- According to an embodiment of the present invention, the inner surface of the gripping body has a position limiting member bulging inward.
- According to an embodiment of the present invention, the position limiting member extends form the gripping member.
- According to an embodiment of the present invention, the position limiting member extends form the covering member.
- By means of the present invention, the spring body is provided within the covering member, so the spring body, which is covered by the covering member, is hidden from being viewed and will not in contact with the hairs. It thus not only can prevent hairs from being teared by the spring body so as to reduce the risk of hair breakage and the pain of scalp, but also can improve the aesthetic feeling of the whole hair grip. Furthermore, since the spring body is covered and the two gripping bodies are assembled by means of the covering body, the structure of the pinless hair grip with hidden spring is stable.
- The structure and the technical means adopted by the present invention to achieve the above and other objects can be best understood by referring to the following detailed description of the preferred embodiments and the accompanying drawings.

A pinless hair grip withhidden spring 100 includes twogripping bodies 1, aspring body 2, and two sealingcapping members 3. - The gripping
body 1 includes a grippingmember 11, a coveringmember 12, apressing member 13, and aposition limiting member 14. The grippingmember 11 bends inward and has a plurality ofhair combs 111. The inner side of thehair comb 111 is provided with aflexible non-slip part 112. Theflexible non-slip part 112 is provided with a bulge. In other embodiments, the flexible non-slip part can be flat, provided with trough, or in other styles. Theflexible non-slip part 112 is provided for enhancing the friction between the grippingmember 11 and hairs so that the pinless hair grip withhidden spring 100 can hold the hairs more steadily. In other embodiments, theflexible non-slip part 112 is provided for covering the end of thehair comb 111 so that the end of thehair comb 111 is flexible for preventing the scalp skin from being painful. In this embodiment, theflexible non-slip part 112 is made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). In other embodiments, theflexible non-slip part 112 also can be made of silicone or other polymeric substance. - The covering
member 12 connects with the grippingmember 11 of the grippingbody 1 and is located between the two grippingmembers 11. The two coveringmembers 12 have pivotingparts parts gripping bodies 1 with each other. The pivotingparts 121 a is a convexity, and the pivotingparts 121 b is a concavity which is correspondingly pivotally connected with the pivotingparts 121 a. The two coveringbodies 12 have a hiddenspace 122, two installinggaps 123, two positioningtroughs 124, and twoposition limiting members 14. The hiddenspace 122 is provided along a pivoting axis A of the coveringmember 12. The installinggap 123 extends along the pivoting axis A and is formed on the inner walls of the two coveringmember 12. The twopositioning troughs 124 are formed on two sides of the coveringmember 12, wherein each side is opposited to the pivotingparts member 13 extend from the twogripping members 11 and bend outward, respectively. The twoposition limiting members 14 are provided as the corners of the coveringmembers 12, respectively. - The
spring body 2 is provided within the hiddenspace 122 and covered by the coveringmember 12. The two ends 21,22 of thespring body 2 extend and bend outward, and the two ends 21,22 of thespring body 2 is engaged within the twopositioning troughs 124, respectively. Thesealing capping member 3 is hexagonal prism-shaped and is engaged on the end of the coveringmember 12, which is opposite to the pivotingparts sealing capping member 3 has a circular thread part 31 for having thesealing capping member 3 closely engaged with the coveringmember 12. In other embodiments, thesealing capping member 3 also can be cylinder-shaped or triangular prism-shaped. - As shown in
FIG. 4 , in general, the twogripping bodies 1 closely lean against each other by means of the resilient action of thespring body 2. The twopressing members 13 separate from each other. The smallest included angle S between the twogripping members 11, restricted by theposition limiting member 14, is provided. As show inFIG. 5 , the twopressing members 13 are closed by being pressed, so that the coveringmember 12 rotates pivotally to make the twogripping members 11 unfolded. The largest included angle L between the twogripping members 11, restricted by the two contactedpressing members 13, is provided. - In the assembling process, the two
gripping bodies 1 are connected with each other by having the two coveringmembers 12 pivoting with each other. Thespring body 2 is disposed within the hidden space by inserting its end along the installinggap 123 and bending itsend part end part positioning troughs 124, so that the reaction force of the two ends endpart positioning troughs 124 is provided for closing the twogripping bodies 1 . And then thesealing capping member 3 is engaged with the coveringmember 12 for having thespring body 2 hidden. - The
spring body 2 can be completely hidden from being viewed by means of the coveringmember 12 and thesealing capping member 3 to prevent user's hairs being teared by thespring body 2 and to improve the aesthetic feeling of the whole pinless hair grip withhidden spring 100. Of cause, the present invention is not limit to that. Thespring body 2 also can be hidden by means of the coveringmember 12 and thesealing capping member 3 and the flexible non-slip part also can be provided in other embodiments for having the pinless hair grip with hidden spring safe, good looking, and being fixed steadily in use. - As show in
FIG. 6 , the elements of the pinless hair grip withhidden spring 100 a in the second embodiment illustrated in this Fig. are similar to these of the pinless hair grip withhidden spring 100 in the first embodiment. The second embodiment is different from the first embodiment as follows. First, the configurations of the gripping bodies 1 a, 1 b are different. The length of the gripping body 1 a is longer then that of the gripping body 1 b. And the gripping body 1 a is extending to the gripping body 1 b for partially covering the gripping body 1 b. So the pinless hair grip withhidden spring 100 a can grip more hairs. Second, the gripping body 1 a hasgripping tooth 113 instead of the flexible non-slip part. Thegripping tooth 113 and the bulge of the flexiblenon-slip part 112 a of the gripping body 1 b are disposed interleaving so that the pinless hair grip withhidden spring 100 a can hold the hairs more steadily. Third, the twoposition limiting members 14 are respectively extending from one of the grippingmember member - As show in
FIG. 7 , the elements of the pinless hair grip withhidden spring 100 b in the third embodiment illustrated in this Fig. are similar to those of the pinless hair grip withhidden spring 100 b in the second embodiment. The third embodiment is different from the second embodiment as follows. First, the pinless hair grip withhidden spring 100 b has two claspingmembers 15 instead of pressing members, the twogripping bodies 1 are closed by clasping two claspingmembers 15. Second, the twoend parts spring body 2 for having theend part 21 engaged in the two positioning troughs, so the twogripping bodies 1 is unfolded by means of the resilient action of the spring body while the two claspingmembers 15 are not connecting with each other. Third, instead of using the position limiting member, the movement of the twogripping bodies 1 in the direction of closing the twogripping bodies 1 is restricted by thegripping tooth 113 a and the flexiblenon-slip part 112 b. - As show in
FIG. 8 , the elements of the pinless hair grip withhidden spring 100 c in the fourth embodiment illustrated in this Fig. are similar to these of the pinless hair grip withhidden spring 100 a in the second embodiment. The fourth embodiment is different from the second embodiment as follows. The twogripping members 11 both have the flexiblenon-slip part 112, and instead of using the position limiting member, the movement of the twogripping bodies 1 in the direction of closing the twogripping bodies 1 is restricted by the flexiblenon-slip part 112. - The above description should be considered as only the discussion of the preferred embodiments of the present invention. However, a person skilled in the art may make various modifications to the present invention. Those modifications still fall within the spirit and scope defined by the appended claims.
Claims (10)
1. A pinless hair grip with hidden spring, comprising:
two gripping bodies, each griping body respectively including a gripping member and a covering member which is connected with the gripping member, the two gripping bodies being pivoted with each other by pivotally connecting the two covering members, and a hidden space being provided within the covering member along a pivoting axis of the two covering members; and
a spring body being provided within the hidden space and being covered by the covering member, and two ends of the spring body respectively contacting the two gripping bodies to open or close the gripping member of the two gripping bodies.
2. The pinless hair grip with hidden spring as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the gripping body further includes a pressing member extending from the gripping member.
3. The pinless hair grip with hidden spring as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the gripping body further includes a clasping member extending from the gripping member.
4. The pinless hair grip with hidden spring as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising a sealing capping member being engaged with the covering member.
5. The pinless hair grip with hidden spring as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the inner surface of the gripping member is provided with a plurality of gripping teeth.
6. The pinless hair grip with hidden spring as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the inner surface of the gripping member is provided with a flexible non-slip part.
7. The pinless hair grip with hidden spring as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the covering body is provided with a positioning trough for engaging the two ends of the spring body with each other.
8. The pinless hair grip with hidden spring as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the inner surface of the gripping body has a position limiting member bulging inward.
9. The pinless hair grip with hidden spring as claimed in claim 8 , wherein the position limiting member extends form the gripping member.
10. The pinless hair grip with hidden spring as claimed in claim 8 , wherein the position limiting member extends form the covering member.
