Abstract
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to an exercise machine, and more particularly to an upright horse riding exercise machine. The user can stand on the exercise machine and bounce up and down for the popular horse riding dance.
- 2. Description of the Prior Art
- These days, people live in small space. Besides, people are always busy at work and bear working pressure so they don't have much time to exercise. Hence, the cardio-pulmonary function is not good and the muscular endurance is not enough. The fitness score is below the standard. When taking a walk, he/she may pant like a bull. The main reason is that they don't exercise. Some people know the importance of exercise, so they find time to exercise as soon as possible.
- In fact, no time to exercise is just an excuse. For example, people can use a simple indoor exercise apparatus at home or in the office, without considering the weather or the distance to exercise. There are many different exercise machines on the market, such as, running machines, weight trainers, treadmills, dumbbells or the like. Though there are many indoor exercise machines on the market, some products have been presented to the public for decades. People may think the exercise machines are boring. In order to inspire the consumer to purchase an exercise machine, it is necessary to improve and innovate the products. In view of this, the inventor finds a horse riding dance is very popular now. If an exercise machine can combine with this kind of dance, it may satisfy the consumers and the product can be sold very well. Accordingly, the inventor of the present invention has devoted himself based on his many years of practical experiences to develop an innovated exercise machine.
- The primary object of the present invention is to provide an upright horse riding exercise machine for attracting more consumers. The exercise machine provides a horse riding dance to be in the fashion. When the user stands on the exercise machine, he/she can jump up and down for upright exercise to imitate horse riding dance.
- In order to achieve the aforesaid object, the upright horse riding exercise machine of the present invention comprises a base, two pedals and two elastic units.
- The base comprises a bottom seat. The bottom seat has an H-like shape.
- The bottom seat comprises a pair of slide boards at two outer ends thereof.
- The bottom seat is provided with a plurality of pads.
- A connection board is fixed to the central portion of the bottom seat. The connection board has a U shape. The connection board has an inner space.
- The connection board has two pairs of through holes.
- One side of the connection board has two holes.
- The two pedals are coupled on top of the two elastic units. Each pedal has a connection trough on a bottom thereof.
- Each elastic unit has an axle hole at one end thereof. The axle hole is disposed in the inner space of the connection board and corresponding to the relative through holes and inserted by an axle member to be positioned.
- Each elastic unit comprises a fixing board next to the axle hole. The fixing board is fitted with an engaging board. The bottom of one end of the engaging board is connected with an arc board. The bottom end of the arc board is provided with a pulley. The pulley is located on the corresponding slide board of the base.
- The fixing board is first connected with the connection trough of the corresponding pedal, and then connected to the engaging board.
- The connection board is connected with a rod. The rod comprises a locking board at a lower end thereof. The locking board has locking holes thereon. Locking members are inserted in the locking holes and the holes of the connection board so that the locking board is coupled to the connection board. A spring is provided on the lower end of the rod and located above the locking board. A handle is provided on the top of the rod.
-
FIG. 1 is an exploded view of the present invention; -
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the present invention; -
FIG. 3 is a side schematic view of the present invention when in use; and -
FIG. 4 is a perspective schematic view of the present invention when in use. - Embodiments of the present invention will now be described, by way of example only, with reference to the accompanying drawings.
- As shown in
FIG. 1 andFIG. 2 , the upright horse riding exercise machine according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises abase 1, twopedals 2 and twoelastic units 3. - The
base 1 comprises abottom seat 11. Thebottom seat 11 has an H-like shape. Thebottom seat 11 comprises a pair ofslide boards 12 at two outer ends thereof. Thebottom seat 11 is provided with a plurality ofpads 13. Aconnection board 14 is fixed to the central portion of thebottom seat 11. Theconnection board 14 has a U shape. Theconnection board 14 has an inner space. Theconnection board 14 has two pairs of throughholes 141. One side of theconnection board 14 has twoholes 142. - The two
pedals 2 are coupled on top of the twoelastic units 3. Eachpedal 2 has aconnection trough 21 on a bottom thereof. - Each
elastic unit 3 has anaxle hole 31 at one end thereof. Theaxle hole 31 is disposed in the inner space of theconnection board 14 and corresponding to the relative throughholes 141 and inserted by anaxle member 32 to be positioned. Eachelastic unit 3 comprises a fixingboard 33 next to theaxle hole 31. The fixingboard 33 is fitted with an engagingboard 34. The fixingboard 33 is first connected with theconnection trough 21 of thecorresponding pedal 2, and then connected to the engagingboard 34. The bottom of one end of the engagingboard 34 is connected with anarc board 35. The bottom end of thearc board 35 is provided with apulley 36. Thepulley 36 is located on thecorresponding slide board 12 of thebase 1. - The
connection board 14 is connected with arod 4. Therod 4 comprises a lockingboard 41 at a lower end thereof. The lockingboard 41 has lockingholes 42 thereon. Lockingmembers 43 are inserted in the locking holes 42 and theholes 142 of theconnection board 14 so that the lockingboard 41 is coupled to theconnection board 14. Aspring 44 is provided on the lower end of therod 41 and located above the lockingboard 41. Ahandle 45 is provided on the top of therod 41. - As shown in
FIG. 3 andFIG. 4 , when the present invention is assembled, the user stands on the twopedals 2 and jumps up and down through thearc board 35 of eachelastic unit 3 to provide elasticity. When thepedal 2 is pressed by the user's weight, thearc board 35 will be deformed downward and thepulley 36 will slide outward on theslide board 12 so that eachpedal 2 can be moved downward. By the elasticity of thearc board 35, eachpedal 2 can be bounced upward. Thus, the present invention can assist the user in exercising up and down to imitate horse riding or to dance horse riding, providing exercise, bodybuilding and amusement objects. - The
rod 4 of the present invention is for the user to hold thereon for balance. - Although particular embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the present invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
