Abstract

A condiment dispenser holder including an elongated stem, a base section, a body section, and a support tab section is provided. The base section extends curvedly from an upper end of the elongated stem and supports an undersurface of a condiment dispenser. The body section extends from the base section in a geometrical configuration, for example, a cylindrical helically coiled configuration. The body section in the geometrical configuration firmly accommodates the condiment dispenser within a space defined within the body section. The support tab section extends from an upper end of the body section and secures the condiment dispenser within the body section. The support tab section precludes displacement of the condiment dispenser from the body section. Multiple condiment dispenser holders accommodating multiple condiment dispensers may be arranged in a vase with other decorative elements, for example, flowers, fruits, etc., in multiple configurations to create different decorative arrangements of condiments.

    CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS
  • This application claims the benefit of provisional patent application No. 61/712,387 titled “Condiment Dispenser Holder”, filed in the United States Patent and Trademark Office on Oct. 11, 2012.
  • The specification of the above referenced patent application is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.
  • BACKGROUND
  • The apparatus disclosed herein, in general, relates to holders. More particularly, the apparatus disclosed herein relates to a condiment dispenser holder that holds condiments, for example, spices, herbs, etc., and that can be arranged among multiple condiment dispenser holders and decorative elements in multiple configurations for creating multiple different decorative arrangements of condiments.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • A condiment dispenser holder comprising an elongated stem, a base section, a body section, and a support tab section is provided. The base section extends curvedly from an upper end of the elongated stem. The base section is configured to support an undersurface of a condiment dispenser, for example, a spice dispenser. The body section extends from the base section in a geometrical configuration that conforms to a shape of the condiment dispenser. In an embodiment, the geometrical configuration of the body section of the condiment dispenser holder is a cylindrical helically coiled configuration that conforms to a cylindrically shaped condiment dispenser. The body section in the geometrical configuration is configured to firmly accommodate the condiment dispenser within a space defined within the body section. The support tab section extends from an upper end of the body section. The support tab section is configured to secure the accommodated condiment dispenser within the defined space within the body section and to preclude displacement of the accommodated condiment dispenser from the body section. Multiple condiment dispenser holders accommodating multiple condiment dispensers may be customizably arranged in a vase or any container with other decorative elements, for example, flowers, fruits, etc., in multiple configurations to create multiple different decorative arrangements of condiments. The customization of the decorative arrangement in various configurations can be selected by a consumer during purchase.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • FIG. 1 exemplarily illustrates a front perspective view of a condiment dispenser holder 100. The condiment dispenser holder 100 disclosed herein comprises an elongated stem 101, a base section 102, a body section 103, and a support tab section 104. The base section 102 extends curvedly from an upper end 101 a of the elongated stem 101. The base section 102 is configured to support an undersurface 201 a of a condiment dispenser 201 as exemplarily illustrated in FIGS. 2A-2E. The upper end 101 a of the elongated stem 101 curves under the condiment dispenser 201 to support the condiment dispenser 201. The length of the elongated stem 101 is, for example, about 15 centimeters (cm) to about 30 cm.
  • The body section 103 of the condiment dispenser holder 100 extends from the base section 102 in a geometrical configuration that conforms to a shape of the condiment dispenser 201. In an embodiment as exemplarily illustrated in FIG. 1 and FIGS. 2A-2F, the body section 103 of the condiment dispenser holder 100 has a cylindrical helically coiled configuration that conforms to a cylindrically shaped condiment dispenser 201. The cylindrical helically coiled configuration is substantially similar, for example, to that of a spring. Although the detailed description refers to a body section 103 with a cylindrical helically coiled configuration, the scope of the condiment dispenser holder 100 disclosed herein is not limited to a body section 103 with a cylindrical helically coiled configuration but may be extended to include a body section 103 that conforms to any shape of any condiment dispenser 201, for example, a cubic shaped condiment dispenser, a cuboidal shaped condiment dispenser, etc.
  • The length of the body section 103 is, for example, about 7.5 cm to about 9.75 cm from the base section 102 to the upper end 103 b of the body section 103. The length between consecutive coils 103 c of the cylindrical helically coiled body section 103 is, for example, about 1.83 cm to about 3.25 cm. The length of the leading edge 103 d of the body section 103 that terminates at the upper end 103 b of the body section 103 is, for example, about 1.5 cm to about 2.75 cm. The body section 103 defines a hollow space 103 a within the geometrical configuration of the body section 103. The body section 103 in the geometrical configuration is configured to firmly accommodate the condiment dispenser 201 within the space 103 a defined within the body section 103.
  • The support tab section 104 of the condiment dispenser holder 100 extends from the upper end 103 b of the body section 103. The support tab section 104 extends downwardly from the upper end 103 b of the body section 103 as exemplarily illustrated in FIG. 1 and FIGS. 2A-2D, to avoid snagging of the condiment dispenser holder 100. The support tab section 104 is configured to secure the accommodated condiment dispenser 201 within the defined space 103 a within the body section 103 and preclude displacement of the accommodated condiment dispenser 201 from the body section 103. The length of the support tab section 104 is, for example, about 1.3 cm to about 1.75 cm from the upper end 103 b of the body section 103. Examples of materials used for manufacturing the condiment dispenser holder 100 comprise steel, aluminum, etc. The material of the condiment dispenser holder 100 is configured in the form of a wire having a thickness of, for example, about 1.5 mm to about 2.75 mm The wire is molded to create the elongated stem 101, the base section 102, the body section 103, and the support tab section 104 of the condiment dispenser holder 100.
  • FIGS. 2A-2F exemplarily illustrate different views of the condiment dispenser holder 100, showing positioning and accommodation of a condiment dispenser 201 within the condiment dispenser holder 100. The condiment dispenser 201 is a dispensing container with a lid 202 on top. The condiment dispenser 201 contains condiments, for example, spices, pepper, salt, herbs, etc., that can be dispensed on food items. A top perspective view of the condiment dispenser holder 100, showing a condiment dispenser 201 disengaged from the condiment dispenser holder 100 is exemplarily illustrated in FIG. 2A. The condiment dispenser 201 is accommodated within the space 103 a defined within the body section 103 of the condiment dispenser holder 100 exemplarily illustrated in FIG. 1. The engagement of the condiment dispenser 201 within the space 103 a defined within the body section 103 of the condiment dispenser holder 100 is exemplarily illustrated in FIGS. 2B-2F.
  • FIGS. 3A-3C exemplarily illustrate different perspective views of a decorative arrangement 300 of condiment dispenser holders 100 accommodating condiment dispensers 201. One or more condiment dispenser holders 100 can be customizably arranged among one or more decorative elements, for example, flowers 301, fruits, etc., in multiple configurations for creating multiple different decorative arrangements of condiments, for example, spices, herbs, etc. For example, multiple condiment dispenser holders 100 can be positioned in any arrangement 300 among flowers 301 in a vase 302 and displayed for aesthetic appeal as exemplarily illustrated in FIGS. 3A-3C. The elongated stems 101 of the condiment dispenser holders 100 along with the stems 301 a of the flowers 301 are inserted into the vase 302 and arranged decoratively. The decorative arrangement 300 may be contained in a vase 302, a basket, a pottery item, or any type of container.
  • The customizable decorative arrangement 300 of the condiment dispenser holders 100 and the decorative elements in multiple configurations can be selected by a consumer during purchase. In an embodiment, an online platform may be implemented to allow customization and purchase of the decorative arrangement 300 of condiment dispenser holders 100 that accommodate multiple condiment dispensers 201. The decorative arrangement 300 can be customized based on consumer preferences of spices, herbs, other types of condiments, country, etc. The online platform provides an interface accessible by consumers via a network. Consumers can enter their inputs and preferences on the interface provided by the online platform to create multiple different decorative arrangements of condiments.

While the invention has been described with reference to various embodiments, it is understood that the words, which have been used herein, are words of description and illustration, rather than words of limitation. Further, although the invention has been described herein with reference to particular means, materials, and embodiments, the invention is not intended to be limited to the particulars disclosed herein; rather, the invention extends to all functionally equivalent structures, methods and uses, such as are within the scope of the appended claims. Those skilled in the art, having the benefit of the teachings of this specification, may affect numerous modifications thereto and changes may be made without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention in its aspects.

Claims (4)

We claim:
1. A condiment dispenser holder, comprising:
an elongated stem;
a base section extending curvedly from an upper end of said elongated stem, said base section configured to support an undersurface of a condiment dispenser;
a body section extending from said base section in a geometrical configuration that conforms to a shape of said condiment dispenser, wherein said body section in said geometrical configuration is configured to firmly accommodate said condiment dispenser within a space defined within said body section; and
a support tab section extending from an upper end of said body section, said support tab section configured to secure said accommodated condiment dispenser within said defined space within said body section and preclude displacement of said accommodated condiment dispenser from said body section.
2. The condiment dispenser holder of claim 1, wherein said geometrical configuration of said body section is a cylindrical helically coiled configuration.
3. The condiment dispenser holder of claim 1 positioned in a customizable arrangement among one or more of a plurality of condiment dispenser holders and one or more decorative elements in a plurality of configurations for creating a plurality of different decorative arrangements of condiments.
4. The condiment dispenser holder of claim 3, wherein said customizable arrangement among said one or more of said plurality of said condiment dispenser holders and said one or more decorative elements in said plurality of said configurations is selected by a consumer during purchase.
