  • These and other objectives of the present invention will no doubt become obvious to those of ordinary skill in the art after reading the following detailed description of the preferred embodiment that is illustrated in the various figures and drawings.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a partial exploded diagram of a portable touch device according to an embodiment of the present invention.
  • FIG. 2 is a partial assembly diagram of the portable touch device according to the embodiment of the present invention.
  • FIG. 3 is an another view of the portable touch device according to the embodiment of the present invention.
  • FIG. 4 is a diagram of a rope connected to a coil spring according to the embodiment of the present invention.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • Please refer to FIG. 1 to FIG. 3. FIG. 1 is a partial exploded diagram of a portable touch device 50 according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a partial assembly diagram of the portable touch device 50 according to the embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 3 is an another view of the portable touch device 50 according to the embodiment of the present invention. The portable touch device 50 can be a handheld mobile device, such as a mobile phone, a personal digital assistant, and so on. In addition, the portable touch device 50 also can be a portable computer device, such as a tablet computer. In order to illustrate an inner structure of the portable touch device 50 clearly, part of a casing 52 is omitted in FIG. 1 to FIG. 3. The portable touch device 50 includes the casing 52 for covering internal components. An opening 521 and a stylus slot 523 are formed on the casing 52. The portable touch device 50 further includes a stylus 54 detachably received inside the stylus slot 523 on the casing 52. The stylus 54 can be used for assisting in performing a touch operation of the portable touch device 50. As an user is desired to perform the touch operation, the stylus 54 can be used for contacting and pressing a touch panel, and the touch panel can sense a position where is pressed to output different control commands according to different pressed positions, so as to control the portable touch device 50. As the user does not need to perform the touch operation, the stylus 54 can be received inside the stylus slot 523 on the casing 52.
  • In order to implement a function of receiving the stylus 54 inside the stylus slot 523 on the casing 52, the portable touch device 50 further includes a rope 56 and a reeling mechanism 58. The rope 56 passes through the opening 521 on the casing 52, and one end of the rope 56 is connected to the stylus 54. For example, the end of the rope 56 can be tied to a handle portion of the stylus 54, so as to connect the stylus 54 with the casing 52. The reeling mechanism 58 is installed inside the casing 52 and connected to the other end of the rope 56, for reeling the rope 56 so as to pull the stylus 54 to be received inside the stylus slot 523 on the casing 52. For example, the reeling mechanism 58 can be an automatic reeling mechanism, and the user can force to pull the stylus 54 to pull out the rope 56, so as to pull the stylus 54 out of the stylus slot 523 on the casing 52, for performing the touch operation. As it is desired to receive the stylus 54 inside the stylus slot 523, the user only needs to release the stylus 54, and then the reeling mechanism 58 reels the rope 56 to get close to the casing 52 automatically, so that the stylus 54 can be received inside the stylus slot 523.
  • In this embodiment, the reeling mechanism 58 can include a fixing rod 60 and a coil spring 62. The fixing rod 60 is installed on an inner side of the casing 52, and the coil spring 62 winds about the fixing rod 60. The coil spring 62 is connected to the other end of the rope 56 for providing the rope 56 with an elastic recovery force, so as to reel the rope 56. Please refer to FIG. 4. FIG. 4 is a diagram of the rope 56 connected to the coil spring 62 according to the embodiment of the present invention. A hole 621 is formed on an end of the coil spring 62, and the other end of the rope 56 passes through the hole 621. For example, the other end of the rope 56 is tied to the hole 621, so as to connect the coil spring 62 with the rope 56. As the user forces to pull the stylus 54 to pull out the rope 56, the coil spring 62 connected to the rope 56 is also forced at the same time, so that the coil spring 62 deforms elastically, and then the stylus 54 can be pulled out of the stylus slot 523 to perform the touch operation. However, as it is desired to receive the stylus 54 inside the stylus slot 523, the user only needs to release the stylus 54, and then coil spring 62 can provide the rope 56 with the elastic recovery force, so as to reel the rope 56 to pull the stylus 54 back to the casing 52 automatically, so that the stylus 54 can be received inside the stylus slot 523. The reeling mechanism 58 is not limited to the above mechanical design. For example, it also can adopt a design with an elastic rope connected to a rotation shaft via a spring. That is, any mechanism capable of implementing a reeling function is within the scope of the present invention.
  • Moreover, in order to fix the coil spring 62 inside the casing 52, the reeling mechanism 58 further includes a coil spring fixing structure 64 for fixing the coil spring 62 on the inner side of the casing 52. The coil spring fixing structure 64 includes a sleeve 66 and a cover 68. The sleeve 66 is installed on the inner side of the casing 52 and around the fixing rod 60, and the coil spring 62 is installed inside the sleeve 66 in a winding manner. The cover 68 is for covering the sleeve 66, so as to prevent the coil spring 62 from separating from the sleeve 66. The cover 68 can be fixed on the sleeve 66 by ultrasound welding. A method for fastening the cover 68 with the sleeve 66 is not limited to this embodiment, and it depends on practical design demands.
  • As for an assembly procedure, the coil spring 62 can wind about the fixing rod 60 in the winding manner first and be installed inside the sleeve 66. After that, the end of the rope 56 can be tied to the handle portion of the stylus 54, so as to connect the rope 56 with the stylus 54. Then, the other end of the rope 56 passes through the opening 521 on the casing 52. After the rope 56 passes into the inner side of the casing 52, the other end of the rope 56 is connected to the hole 621 on the coil spring 62, so as to connect the coil spring 62 with the rope 56. Finally, the cover 68 is combined with the sleeve 66, so as to prevent the coil spring 62 from separating from the sleeve 66. Therefore, the overall assembly is finished.
  • In contrast to the prior art, the present invention is to implement the function of receiving the stylus by the reeling mechanism. It can not only prevent the stylus from loss, but also can receive the rope connected to the stylus and the casing automatically and effectively, so as to achieve a purpose of not occupying space and maintaining the uniform appearance.
  • Those skilled in the art will readily observe that numerous modifications and alterations of the device and method may be made while retaining the teachings of the invention. Accordingly, the above disclosure should be construed as limited only by the metes and bounds of the appended claims.
