On the back of the robe, there is a spiral from the crown of the robe to the base of the spine. On the back, placed behind its color compliment on the front of the robe, there is a description of each chakra image, the mantra it occupies and the parts of the body it affects, written in the accommodating colors.
Description
- This application claims the benefit of provisional patent application No. 61/537,602.
- Yoga Meditation/Śavāsana Robe. It is also called a ‘Yoga Robe’for abbreviated purposes.
- I. Description
- The item is an all natural only fabric garment that is a combination of a blanket and a robe and/or sleeping bag. It covers the body from head to toe like a blanket. It is a full body covering garment that opens at the feet if desired, like a robe. It can be designed to close the feet in like a sleeping bag. It has sleeves that extend to the wrist on the front of the arm and extends to mid back of the palm on the back hands. It also has a hood that is designed to hover the eyes resting on the penal gland. There are two horizontal lines from one side to the other on the front of the robe. One line is at the chest underneath the breastplate. The other line is at the groin and is the demarcation for where the zipper begins. To put the garment on, the person ‘steps into’ it through a zipper opening that begins at the groin. There are images on the front and back of the robe. The front of the robe has seven images. The images are the same 7 images that are universally used to denote the 7 chakras or the 7 main energy centers. The images are strategically placed on the robe in the corresponding positions on the body. Like, the universal denotations, the images are color specific to match the energy centers as well. In addition, the name of the element that is associated with each chakra can be written across the horizontal middle of the image. On the back of the robe, in each of the corresponding color spots on the front of the robe are three things. So, each color has its own three things that lined on top of each other and centrally placed. The three things are: 1) an ‘I’ phrase associated with the meaning of the chakra it is connected to, 2) a brief description of the chakra's emotional connection to the human body and 3) a brief description of the chakra's physical connection to the human body. Lastly, the images are interlaced with a spiral which represents the dual flow of spirit energy from the center (heart) to the crown (head) and from the head (crown) to the heart.

- V. Denoting One Robe from Another
- Because the ‘Yoga Robe’ can be made from different materials comprising of one or more natural fabrics, the robes have sub-name identifiers. The sub-name identifier has two parts. The first part of the sub-name identifier is the same word for all robes—its Śavācalis. The second part of the sub-name identifier is a number. The number corresponds with fabric differentiation only. So, each different material type(s) will have a different sub-name identifier number. For example, the ‘Yoga Robe’ made of hemp can be called
Śavācalis 1. The ‘Yoga Robe’ made out of jute can be called Śavācalis 2. The ‘Yoga Robe’ made out of bamboo can be called Śavācalis 3. This also applies if the fabrics are mixed, so, a ‘Yoga Robe’ made of hemp and bamboo can be called Śavācalis 4. -
FIG. 1 : - There are seven total images on the front/top of the robe. There are six circular images total on the front of the robe. There is one image on top the hood of the robe. Five of the circular images are vertically lined up the midline of the body. The five circles are equally placed from the groin to the neck. The sixth circle is on the central forehead area where the penal gland is. The seventh circle is on the mid-central area of the head—the crown area. Each circle is outlined differently to represent the 7 main chakra or energy centers of the body.
- From the bottom to the top, the color sequence is Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet. In each circle is a word that is centrally placed, horizontally. The red circle has the word Earth. The orange circle has the word Water. The yellow circle has the word Fire. The green circle has the word Air. The blue circle has the word Sound. The indigo circle has the word Light. The violet circle has the word Thought.

Inside the square is a triangle that is centered. The circle is outlined with four curves of the same size, reminiscent of a stretched out four leaf clover.
- 2) Orange Image=Lower Abdomen/Sexual Organs=Water Element
- The orange image is all in orange. It is a circle with a smaller circle inside. The smaller circle is placed on top of the larger circle, thus, exposing a 315 degree crescent in the space between the larger and smaller circles. The larger circle is outlined with six shapes of the same size, reminiscent of the top of an acorn.
- 3) Yellow Image=Solar Plexus=Fire Element
- The yellow image is all in yellow. It is a circle with an equilateral triangle in its center. The vertices of the triangle each touch a point on the circle. The circle is outlined with ten shapes of the same size, reminiscent of bottle nipples.
- 4) Green Image=Heart=Air Element
- The green image is all in green. It is a circle with two equilateral triangles equally placed at its center.
