Description

    BACKGROUND
  • 1. Technical Field
  • The present disclosure relates to an infant pillow, and more particularly, to an infant pillow with multiple functions.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • Generally, in addition to head deformation, infants often have vomiting milk problems.
  • Existing technologies adjust head deformation by a stereotypes pillow. However, the vomiting milk problem occurs because that esophagus, intestinal and other digestive systems of an infant are not yet fully developed, especially because cardiac sphincter of most infants is not yet matured and cannot be closed tightly when they're newborn, which easily results in vomiting milk. For some infants with hypertrophic pyloric stenosis, milk is easy to accumulate in the stomach and cannot be digested and absorbed successfully, which easily lead to vomiting milk. Furthermore, the main food of an infant is liquid milk, which easily reflux and more easily reflux when the body is lying than when the body is upright. Vomiting milk problem will occur if an infant is directly flat laid on a bed or a common infant bed when the infant is too full or inhales too much air after being fed with milk. Vomiting milk not only causes that the infant cannot fully absorb milk and cannot be fed fully which results in malnutrition and crying, but also causes insanitary and that it is inconvenient to clean up, and furthermore causes the infant being choked by milk. When a large quantity of milk is vomited, it will cause obstruction of trachea and that the infant cannot breath and immediately anoxia which endangers the life. When a small quantity of milk is vomited, the infant may also inhale the milk deeply into the lungs which results in aspiration pneumonia.
  • For the vomiting milk problem, parents always let the infant sit uprightly for a moment and pat its back to reduce vomiting milk. However, the vomiting milk problem of the infant is still difficult to avoid. Especially at night or when the parents are not at the side of their infant, the vomiting milk problem cannot be solved timely, which may cause the infant in danger.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • Reference will now be made to the drawings to describe various exemplary embodiments of the present infant pillow in detail.
  • Referring to FIG. 1 to and FIG. 3, an infant pillow 100 according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a panel 21, a base 22, a moving support device 23 and a control module 24. The panel 21 is panel located above the base 22. The panel 21 defines a head portion region 12 and a shoulder-back portion region 14 extending outwards from a center of a side of the head portion region 12. The shoulder-back portion region 14 is corresponding to a shoulder and a back of the infant. The moving support device 23 and the control module 24 are electrically connected and are located between the panel 21 and the base 22. The panel 21 within the head portion region 12 defines an inner concave 212. A milk sensing unit 25 is disposed near two opposite sides of the inner concave 212. The milk sensing unit 25 and the control module 24 are electrically connected. The control module 24 receives a sensing signal from the milk sensing unit 25 and processes the sensing signal to generate a control signal or a warning signal. The moving support device 23 adjusts a slope of the panel 21 relative to the base 22 according to the control signal of the control module 24. It can be understood that arrangement of the control module 24 can also make it realized that moving forms of the moving support device 23 are artificially controlled.
  • In the present embodiment, the moving support device 23 includes a motor 232 and a connecting rod structure 234 connected to the motor 232. The motor 232 and the control module 24 are electrically connected with each other. The connecting rod structure 234 is connected to the panel 21.
  • The milk sensing unit 25 includes a plurality of humidity sensors 252. The humidity sensors 252 are distributed uniformly near the two opposite sides of the inner concave 212.
  • The warning signal could be sound signal. In particular, in the present embodiment, the control module 24 could also include a wireless signal transmitting unit (not shown in the figure) and a remote controlled speaker (not shown in the figure). The remote controlled speaker can remind the infant's parents or other people to pay attention according to a sound signal from the wireless signal transmitting unit.
  • The above infant pillow 100 includes the moving support device 23, the control module 24 and the milk sensing unit 25. If an infant vomits milk when he/she is sleeping, the milk sensing unit 25 can sense it and produce a sensing signal. The control module 24 receives the sensing signal from the milk sensing unit 24 and processes the sensing signal to generate a control signal or a warning signal. And the moving support device 23 can also adjust a slope of the panel 21 relative to the base 22 according to the control signal of the control module 24. For example, referring to FIG. 4, the sensing unit 25 could generate a sensing signal when an infant vomits milk. And the control module 24 could receive milk the sensing signal from the sensing unit 24 and process the sensor signal to generate a control signal of raising a slope. According to the control signal, the moving support device 23 starts the motor 232 which drives the connecting rod structure 234 to move, thereby raising the slope of the panel 21 relative to the base 22, and then raising the infant's head and reducing chances of the infant being in danger. As another example, the milk sensing unit 25 will generate a sensing signal when an infant vomits milk. And the control module 24 could receive milk the sensing signal from the sensing unit 24 and process the sensor signal to generate a warning signal to remind adults to pay attention; adults can timely deal with the infant's vomiting milk problem, reducing chances of the infant being in danger which is due to vomiting milk.
  • Furthermore, referring to FIG. 1 again, a plurality of pressure sensors 26 could be disposed in the inner concave 212 of the infant pillow 100. The pressure sensors 26 could be electrically connected to the control module 24. The control module 24 may further include a display unit (not shown in the figure), which is used to display a sensing result of the pressure sensors 26. The plurality of pressure sensors 26 may be distributed uniformly along the periphery of the inner concave 212. The pressure sensors 26 could sense pressure. When the infant sleeps with his/her head inside the inner concave 212, the pressure sensors 26 can sense pressure of different parts of the infant's head; therefore, a pressure distribution diagram of the infant's head can be drawn. According to the pressure distribution, the infant's head shape can be correspondingly obtained. By knowing infant's head shape, the infant's parents can adjust the infant's sleeping position so as to prevent the infant from head deformation (for example, head deviation).
  • Furthermore, within the shoulder-back portion region 14 of the infant pillow 100, a sweat sensing unit 27 may be disposed on the panel 21 near the head portion region 12. And the control module 24 may also include a wireless signal transmitting unit (not shown in the figure) and a remote controlled fan (not shown in the figure). The remote controlled fan may be used to adjust a rotation rate of the fan according to a wind speed adjusting signal from the wireless signal transmitting unit generated according to a sensing result of the sweat sensing unit 27. The sweat sensing unit 27 may be composed of a plurality of humidity sensors. The infant easily sweats near the neck, and it could be judged whether the infant is over-warm by the sensing unit 27, therefore it can be selected automatically to adjust the rotation rate of the fan, which prevents the infant from overheating or heatstroke when it's sleeping in hot weather.
  • Furthermore, a bent portion 142 may also be formed on the panel 21 within the shoulder-back portion region 14 and outside the milk sensing unit 25. The bent portion 142 may be connected to the moving support device 23 and controlled by the control module 24. When used, the bent portion 142 can be controlled turning inward by the control module 24 to prevent the infant away from the infant pillow 100.
  • In addition, in order to improve the comfort of the infant pillow 100, to ensure that the baby pillow 100 is dry and to inhibit the growth of bacteria, a soft layer 28 can also be provided on the surface of the panel 21, as shown in FIG. 5. And the soft layer is dispersed with active carbon and nanometer silver 281 therein.
