  • SUMMARY Problems to be Solved by the Invention
  • Therefore, the present invention has been accomplished in order to resolve the above-mentioned and other disadvantages and problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a multifunctional support for assembly furniture, wherein shelves and a traversal bar are integrally coupled on a single multifunctional support so as to be utilized for multiple purposes.
  • Means for Solving the Problems
  • In order to accomplish the above object, there is provided a multifunctional support for assembly furniture which includes cylinder members formed with through holes to be fixed to fixing supports and support members extending to be long from the cylinder members to the outside, and characterized in that: three shelf placing grooves are formed on the top surfaces of the support members at a uniform interval so as to fix the both end portions of shelves; and holding grooves are further formed in the shape of a “T” on the inside surfaces of the support members so as to couple traversal bar mounting members. Further, the traversal bar mounting member includes a securing piece having a through hole which is formed for the coupling of a traversal bar, a connection piece extending to be long from the upper portion of the securing piece, and a head portion inserted to the holding groove which is formed on the inside surface of the support member.
  • Effects of the Invention
  • As mentioned above, according to the present invention, shelves and a traversal bar may be integrally coupled using the shelf placing grooves which are formed on the top surfaces of the support members and the traversal bar mounting members which are coupled to the holding grooves formed on the side surfaces of the support members such that various kinds of articles or clothes may be variously maintained and arranged.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • The invention, together with further objects and advantages thereof, may best be understood by making reference to the following description taken together with the accompanying drawings, in which:
  • FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view illustrating the entire structure of a multifunctional support for assembly furniture according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention,
  • FIG. 2 is a perspective view illustrating a coupling state of the multifunctional support for assembly furniture according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention,
  • FIG. 3 is an exploded perspective view for explaining the coupling of a shelf and a traversal bar according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention,
  • FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing the coupled state of FIG. 3, and
  • FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view of a securing piece.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • Now, an exemplary embodiment of the present invention will be described in view of the configuration and operations of the present invention with reference to accompanying drawings.
  • FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view illustrating the entire structure of a multifunctional support for assembly furniture according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a perspective view illustrating a coupling state of the multifunctional support for assembly furniture according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 3 is an exploded perspective view for explaining the coupling of a shelf and a traversal bar according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing the coupled state of FIG. 3, and FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view of a securing piece.
  • A support 10 according to the present invention is to realize the multi-purpose utilization by integrally coupling shelves 30 and a traversal bar 40. Three shelf placing grooves 4 a, 4 b, 4 c are formed on the top surface 3 of a support member 6 which extends to be long to the outside from a cylinder member 1 which has a coupling hole la formed in the vertical direction, wherein the shelf placing grooves 4 b which is formed in the center portion has a wider width rather than the sum of the widths of the shelf placing grooves 4 a, 4 c which are formed at both side portions.
  • In addition, a holding groove 8 is formed in the shape of a “T” on the inside surface of the support member 6 so as to couple a traversal bar mounting member 20.
  • The traversal bar mounting member 20 includes, as shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, a securing piece 13 having a through hole 13 a, a connection piece 16 extending upwards from the securing piece 13 and a head portion 19 additionally integrated to the upper portion of the connection piece 16 so as to be inserted to the above-mentioned holding groove 8.
  • The securing piece 13 has an upper end portion which is formed in an open shape so as to simplify the coupling and decoupling of the traversal bar 40, and an inside pipe 36 which forms the traversal bar 30 extends to the outside to be long so as to be fixed to the through hole 13 a while passing through the through hole 13 a
  • Hereinafter, the operations of the present invention as structured above will be described. That is, as shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, the cylinder members 1 are respectively coupled to two fixing supports 50 using the coupling holes la formed in the vertical direction.
  • Meanwhile, the supports 10 coupled to the fixing supports 50 are coupled with wire mesh shelves 30 in such a manner that the both end portions of the wire mesh shelves 30 which are formed by intersecting the longitudinal rods 23 and the traversal rods 26 are inserted to the three shelf placing grooves 4 a, 4 b, 4 c on the top surface of the support members 6 which form the supports 10 coupled to the fixing supports 50.
  • At this time, the shelf placing grooves 4 b in the center portion is formed with a width which is wider than the sum of the widths of the shelf placing grooves 4 a, 4 c at the both end portions such that two of the wire mesh shelves 30 may be mounted without any troubles.
  • Further, the head portions 19 which form additional traversal bar mounting members 20 are inserted and fixed to the holding grooves 8 which are formed on the inside surfaces of the supports 10.
  • In order to effectively fix the traversal bar 40, the inside surfaces of the securing pieces 13 formed at the lower portions of the traversal bar mounting members 20, which are assembled to the supports 10 in the above process, should be formed in the shape of a circular arc corresponding to the cylindrical shape of the outer peripheral surface of the traversal bar 40 such that the both end portions of the traversal bar 40 may be secured on the inside surfaces of the securing pieces 13.
  • In the case where the extension of the length of the traversal bar 40 is not necessary, only one pipe having the same diameter may be used. However, in the case where the extension of the length of the traversal bar 40 is necessary, the traversal bar 40 is formed of an inside pipe 36 and an outside pipe 33 such that the inside pipe 36 may slide in the outside pipe 33 and the length of the outside pipe 33 and the length of the inside pipe 36 which protrudes from the end portion of the outside pipe 33 may be the length of the traversal bar 40.
  • Furthermore, it is preferable to form the inside surface of the securing piece 13 at a position which is slightly lower than that of the bottom surface portion in the through hole 13 a such that the both end portions of the traversal bar 40 is prevented from moving in the outward direction by a protrusion portion which is formed on the boundary between the through hole 13 a and the securing piece 13.
  • The traversal bar mounting member 20 may be easily coupled and decoupled by anyone according to the space where furniture is placed. Therefore, a user may selectively use the same in various ways.
  • The present invention as described above is not implemented just in the structure described in connection with the embodiment but may be implemented via devices which realize the functions corresponding to the features of the embodiment of the present invention. The features may be readily implemented by a person skilled in the technical field to which the present invention belongs from the description of the above described embodiment and it would be obvious that those are also within the scope of the present invention.
