Abstract

An abdominal fitness equipment comprises an elastic rope attached to the main body and a slide lever disposed in the main body. A hooked board on the slide lever hooks over the elastic rope from bottom to top. The hooked board defines an open-hanging hook unit appropriately located with respect to where a horizontal position of the elastic rope is located. The hook unit comprises a curved fin with a low to high-shaped rear part. The slide lever is unhooked from the elastic rope as a loose state, so the front side of the slide lever retracts into the main body. In use, users pull the slide lever to make the curved fin slide and push up to allow the elastic rope to automatically rebound and hang on the hook unit, thereby completing the loading preparation for the tension of the elastic rope and attaining a simple operation.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to an abdominal fitness equipment capable of loading automatically in which an elongated elastic rope is disposed and used as a tension system. A front side of the slide lever disposed in the main body and an end thereof defined by an abdominal pad causes the tensional combination of the elastic rope and the slide lever. The hook unit is disposed on the front side of the slide lever and formed by a curved fin whose rear part is shaped from low to high. For the first use, when the user pulls the slide lever, the elastic rope hangs on the hook unit and completes the loading preparation of the basic tension of the elastic rope so as to achieve the effect of simple construction and the reduction of the packing dimension.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • An abdominal fitness equipment that recovers tension mainly comprises a main body held by the user, a stretchable and retractable slide lever with its front side disposed in the main body, and an abdominal pad disposed at an end of the slide lever. The user can direct his abdomen to the abdominal pad. When the main body is pulled towards the user and causes the slide lever to retract into the main body, a force against the recovering tension is resulted to achieve the effect of exercising and abdominal massage at the same time. Owing to the simple construction and dimensions, the abdominal fitness equipment becomes popular nowadays.
  • The tension device inside the conventional abdominal fitness equipment usually comprises the elastic rope that could be simply installed and has the advantages of stable elasticity, non-distortion noise, nonmetal and rustless material, such tensional disposition generally replaced the typical spring configuration.
  • Although the abdominal fitness equipments with the arrangement of the elastic rope are in different using configurations, such abdominal fitness equipments are mainly applied by using a stretchable and retractable slide lever disposed at the inner side of the main body and making the front side thereof hooks and combines with the middle part of the non-deformed elastic rope which is in a tight state. That is to say, as the rear part of the slide lever is stretched from the main body, the slide lever stays in a reserved state. When the user exerts pressure upon the abdominal fitness equipment, the front part of the slide lever retracts into the main body and stays in a retracted state for using. The difference between the reserved state and the retracted state is that the stretched rear part increases nearly 50% of the dimensions and occupies the packaging space, so that the fitness equipment causes the increase of the cost, the over-occupied space in sale, and the inconvenience for the user to carry.
  • In order to remedy the defects, the conventional abdominal fitness equipment disposes a lidded adjustable opening on the convergence of the elastic rope and the beginning of the hooked board at the front side or back side of the main body. The elastic rope and the hooked board are not combined when the equipment is packaged, so that the slide lever can be retracted into the main body. After the user opens the package, pulls to free the slide lever, and inserts the finger into the adjustable opening to hook the elastic rope over the hooked board, the abdominal fitness equipment can be used. Although the effect of decreasing the packaging dimensions is achieved, the appearance of the main body is damaged and the operation is not convenient. Because of the adjustable opening, the user has to manually hook and release the elastic rope, which may become the breakdown of the abdominal fitness equipment.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • It is therefore the main purpose of this invention to provide an elastic rope of the abdominal fitness equipment capable of loading automatically that comprises a slide lever with a front part disposed in the main body and an abdominal pad disposed at the end of the slide lever. Wherein, the front side of the slide lever defines a hooked board, and a hook unit defined thereon is formed by a curved fin whose rear part is shaped from low to high. For the first use, the user pulls the slide lever from the main body to make the elastic rope hook over the hook unit and complete the loading preparation of the basic tension so as to provide a convenient and simple combination of the configuration and reduce the packaging dimensions.
  • The secondary purpose of this invention to provide an elastic rope of the abdominal fitness equipment capable of loading automatically that is not necessary to dispose an adjustable opening on the main body. Therefore, the present invention maintains the completeness of the appearance. When using, the user can pull the slide lever as custom without special explanation to automatically complete the loading preparation of the elastic rope hooking over the sliding stem.

  • FIG. 4-B is a partial perspective view showing the present invention when the elastic rope hooks over the slide lever.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • Referring to FIGS. 1, 2, and 3, a first preferred embodiment of the present is shown.
  • The abdominal fitness equipment comprises a main body 2 disposed by the connection of a top surface and a bottom surface and having a long hollow groove 21 formed in the middle part thereof; wherein, a slide lever 22 with an abdominal pad 221 at one end is disposed in the groove 21, so that a front part of the slide lever 22 stretches and retracts freely.
  • An elastic rope 3 is disposed in the main body 2, beside the groove 21; wherein, both sides of the elastic rope 3 are clasped and stridden across by two slide axles 31 in middle of the elastic rope 3, so that the middle of the elastic rope 3 is hanged at the inner side of the groove 21 and stretched tightly. Whereby, a hooked board 222 is defined at the front side of the slide lever 22 and hanged in the middle of the elastic rope 3 from bottom to top, so that when the slide lever 22 pushed forward, the elastic rope 3 becomes deformed and recovers its tension.
  • Characterized in that, at a front side of inner side of the slide lever 22 defines a hooked board 222 whose front side defines an open-hanging hook unit 224 which allows the elastic rope 3 to hook on and place in. Moreover, the hook unit 224 is disposed at the position appropriately with respect to where a horizontal position of the elastic rope 3 is located. Further, the hook unit 224 is formed by a curved fin 223 disposed on a shank of the slide lever 22, with its rear part shaped from low to high.
  • Whereby, the slide lever 22 is in a loose state without hooking over the elastic rope 3, and the front part of the slide lever 22 retracts into the groove 21 of the main body 2 (as shown in FIG. 2). Most part of the slide lever 22 retracts into the inner side of the main body 2 so as to reduce the dimension of packaging, delivering and selling, decrease the cost, and increase the carrying convenience for the user.
  • Referring to FIGS. 3-A, 4, 4-A, and 4-B, in the first time of using, the rear part of the slide lever 22 is pulled out from the main body 2, then the curved fin 223 slides and pushes up to pass the elastic rope 3 (as shown in FIG. 4-A), which allows the elastic rope 3 to automatically rebound and hook on the hook unit 224 and completes the loading preparation of the basic tension of the elastic rope 3 as illustrated in FIG. 4-A. When the user holds the main body 2, puts the abdominal pad 221 against the abdomen and imparts a force to pull the main body 2 towards the user, the slide lever 22 uses the hooked board 222 and the hook unit 224 to clasp and carry the middle part of the elastic rope 3 so as to deform the elastic rope 3 and result in a force against the tension of the elastic rope. After the user releases the force, the slide lever 22 is pushed backward because of the recovering tension of the elastic rope 3 so as to achieve the effect of reciprocating exercising.
  • To sum up, the present invention particularly provides a slide lever that is easy to retract into the main body and achieve the practicability of the abdominal fitness equipment.
