Description

The present invention is a continuation-in-part application of the application Ser. No. 13/486,120, filed on Jun. 1, 2012. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a double-decker comforter assembly and a double-decker covering thereof, and more particularly to a double-decker comforter assembly and a double-decker covering thereof allowing users to configure the comforter assembly with comforters of different thickness, material or numbers according to their personal needs.
  • 2. Description of Related Art
  • A conventional comforter assembly has a covering and a comforter. The covering has two clothes and a space. The clothes have edges securely connected with each other. The space of the covering is formed between the clothes and has an opening. The comforter is inserted in the space of the covering.
  • However, the conventional comforter assembly belongs to a single-decker design because the comforter assembly only has a single space. Consequently, the space of the covering is only applied to hold the comforter of a specific thickness or material and cannot be applied to comforters of different thickness, material or numbers to meet users' different needs.
  • In addition, the space of the covering only has a single opening. Accordingly, two distal corners of the comforter are hard to be grabbed when the comforter is stuffed into the space of the covering. Consequently, the comforter has to be pushed hard to enter the space of the covering, and this is inconvenient.
  • To overcome the shortcomings, the present invention tends to provide a double-decker comforter assembly to mitigate the aforementioned problems.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The main objective of the invention is to provide a double-decker comforter assembly and a double-decker covering thereof allowing users to configure the comforter assembly with comforters of different thickness, material or numbers.
  • A double-decker comforter assembly has a double-decker covering and two comforters. The double-decker covering has three clothes and two spaces. The three clothes have edges securely connected with each other. The spaces are respectively formed between the three clothes and respectively have an opening. The comforters are respectively inserted in the two spaces of the double-decker covering. Accordingly, the double-decker covering allows configuring the comforter assembly with comforters of different thickness, material or numbers.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • With reference to FIGS. 1 to 4, a first embodiment of a double-decker comforter assembly in accordance with the present invention comprises a double-decker covering 10 and two comforters 20.
  • The double-decker covering 10 has three clothes, two spaces 11, two pull zones 12 and a side edge 13. The three clothes are rectangular and have edges securely stitched with each other. The spaces 11 are respectively formed between the three clothes and respectively have an opening. The pull zones 12 are formed through the side edge 13 of the double-decker covering 10 and respectively communicate with the spaces 11 of the double-decker covering 10. Each pull zone 12 has two pull openings 121,122. Preferably, the two pull openings 121,122 of each pull zone 12 respectively align the two pull openings 121,122 of the other pull zone 12 and are respectively adjacent to two opposite ends of the side edge 13 of the double-decker covering 10.
  • Preferably, the double-decker covering 10 has a filling side 14 opposite to the side edge 13 of the double-decker covering 10. The openings of the spaces 11 of the double-decker covering 10 are located at the filling side 14 of the double-decker covering 10. The three clothes of the double-decker covering 10 are in sequence defined as a first cloth 10A, a second cloth 10B and a third cloth 10C. The first cloth 10A has an edge and a wrapping section 15. The edge of the first cloth 10A is located at the filling side 14. The wrapping section 15 is a thin cloth, protrudes from the edge of the first cloth 10A, covers an edge of the second cloth 10B and is stuffed into the space 11 between the second cloth 10B and the third cloth 10C.
  • The comforters 20 are respectively inserted in the two spaces 11 of the double-decker covering 10. Preferably, material of each comforter 20 is different from that of the other comforter 20.
  • With reference to FIG. 5, to assemble the double-decker comforter assembly in accordance with the present invention, the wrapping section 15 is firstly spread out and the comforters 20 are respectively pushed into the spaces 11 via the openings of the spaces 11 of the double-decker covering 10.
  • Second, the user puts hands H into one of the spaces 11 via the pull openings 121,122 of a corresponding one of the pull zones 12, grabs the comforter 20 in the space 11 and pulls the comforter 20 toward the pull zone 12 for quick positioning.
  • Finally, the wrapping section 15 covers the edge of the second cloth 10B and is stuffed into the space 11 between the second cloth 10B and the third cloth 10C. Consequently, the comforters 20 are completely wrapped by the double-decker covering 10.
  • With reference to FIG. 6, a second embodiment of the double-decker comforter assembly is substantially the same as the first embodiment. The two edges of the two adjacent ones of the three clothes 10D,10E,10F of the double-decker covering 10 are detachably connected with each other by zippers.
  • With reference to FIGS. 7 and 8, a third embodiment of the double-decker comforter assembly is substantially the same as the first embodiment. The two edges of the two adjacent ones of the three clothes 10K,10L,10M of the double-decker covering 10 are detachably connected with each other by buttons.
  • With reference to FIGS. 9 and 10, a fourth embodiment of the double-decker comforter assembly is substantially the same as the first embodiment. The double-decker covering 10N does not have the pull zones.
  • From the above description, it is noted that the present invention has the following advantages:
  • 1. Double-Decker Design:
  • The double- decker covering 10,10N allows configuring the comforter assembly with comforters 20 of different thickness, material or numbers. For instance, two comforters 20 can be put in the double- decker covering 10,10N in winter for providing warmness. Only a single one comforter 20 can be put in the double- decker covering 10,10N in summer when the user sleeps in a room with air conditioning. One of the comforters 20 may be a duvet and the other comforter 20 may be made of silk. Accordingly, the double- decker covering 10,10N allowing configuring the comforter assembly with comforters 20 of different thickness, material or numbers is very convenient for users.
  • 2. Easy Pulling: With the pull openings 121,122, the user easily puts hands H into the spaces 11 to grab the comforters 20 in the space 11 and pulls the comforters 20 toward the pull zones 12 for quick positioning.
  • 3. Versatile Connection:
  • With the wrapping section 15, the buttons and the zippers, a user can purchase the double-decker comforter assembly with a preferred connection means.
  • 4. Easy Replacement:
  • The double- decker covering 10,10N allows the user to put in a single comforter 20 or two comforters 20. Accordingly, the user may frequently replace the comforters 20 to meet different situations. With the pull openings 121,122, the user can quickly replace the comforters 20 and this is very convenient.
  • Even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the present invention have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and function of the invention, the disclosure is illustrative only, and changes may be made in detail, especially in matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the invention to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
