  • Garment Cover
  • FIGS. 2A, 2B and 2C illustrate a front face 202, a rear face 204 and a lateral face 206 of the garment cover 102 respectively, according to an embodiment of the disclosed subject matter. Both the front and rear faces 202 and 204 have a generally rectangular shape of same size with a top edge, a bottom edge, a left edge and a right edge. The top edge is a tapered top edge with a downward curving shape to conform to the shape of the one or more hangers 108 that are designed with shoulder-style elements that extend down at an angle from the hangers' hook. Further, the size of rectangular shape of the front and rear faces 202 and 204 may vary based on the end use. For example, for an adult-size organizer the length L1 is 23 inches and the height L2 is 16.5 inches. Further, for a child-size organizer the length L1 is 14 inches and the height L2 is 10 inches. The dimensions described above are merely one illustrative embodiment and may include many other comparable sets of dimensions.
  • Further, necklines are positioned at the center of the top edges of both the front and the rear faces 202 and 204. In an exemplary embodiment, diameter of the necklines is 2 inches, such that lower most points of the necklines are approximately 1 inch below the uppermost points of the top edges. Therefore, if L2 is 16.5 inches, then L3 is 15.5 inches.
  • Further, the front and rear faces 202 and 204 are attached together at top edge (except the necklines), the left edge and the right edge. The top edge forms a small opening at the necklines for inserting hook of the one or more hangers 108 there through, and the bottom edge forms an elongated opening for inserting the one or more hangers 108 along with the one or more garments. The necklines and bottom edges may be self-bound with bias strips. The front and rear faces 202 and 204 may be attached using any method such as stitching or welding. Further, the joining of the front and rear faces 202 and 204 creates two lateral faces, one on the left side and other on the right side. FIG. 2C shows the right lateral face 206. The lateral face 206 extends from a lower most portion of the garment cover 102 up along the curving shape of the garment cover 102 to the edges of the necklines. The lateral face 206 of the garment cover 102 has a sufficient width (L4) to enclose one or more hangers 108 along with the outfit ensemble. In an exemplary embodiment, the width L4 is 2.5 inches.
  • Moreover, the front and rear faces 202 and 204 each include four rectangular pockets 208 and 210 respectively, that extend along the entire length of the bottom edge of the front and rear faces 202 and 204. Each pocket in the pockets 208 and 210 includes a top edge, a bottom edge, and two side edges, with the bottom edges of each pocket aligning with the bottom edge of either the front face 202 or the rear face 204. In an exemplary embodiment, the width L5 of each pocket is 5.75 inches and the height L6 is 6.5 inches. The pockets 208 and 210 may be used hold items, such as earrings, broaches, rings, hair pieces, or a variety of other similar items. The pockets 208 and 210 may be fabricated using a transparent or translucent fabric, such as organza or nylon mesh. The transparent or translucent material allows a user to view the items without removing them from the pockets. Further, the pockets 208 and 210 may be attached to the front and rear faces 202 and 204 using any suitable method. In an exemplary embodiment, the pockets 208 and 210 may be sewn onto the outer surfaces of the front and rear faces 202 and 204, at the respective bottom and side edges of the pockets 208 and 210. The top edges of the pockets 208 and 210 are not sewn, thereby forming openings for the pockets 208 and 210.
  • Yet further, top edges of two pleat flaps 212 and 214 are attached along the width of both the front and rear faces 202 and 204, directly above the pockets 208 and 210 respectively. The pleat flaps 212 and 214 hang over the opening of the pockets 208 and 210 and act as a pocket covers, thereby securing the accessory items that are being stored in the pockets 208 and 210. In an exemplary embodiment, the pleat flaps are 1.5 inches wide and 23 inches long.
  • Moreover, a transparent label pocket 216 is attached onto the center of the front face 202. All edges of the label pocket 216, except for a top edge, may be attached to the front face 202. The top edge is left open to create an opening for the label pocket 216. The side edges of the label pocket 216 may include flower trims 218 that secure the label pocket 216 to the front face 202. In an exemplary embodiment, the label pocket 216 may be 3.75 inches wide and 1.5 inches high. Similarly, a transparent label pocket is attached to each of the two lateral faces. Accordingly, a transparent label pocket 220 is attached on the lateral face 206. The bottom edge of the label pocket 220 is aligned with a bottom edge of the lateral face 206. The label pockets 216 and 220 may be fabricated from a transparent fabric, such as organza or nylon mesh. Finally, a card may be inserted in one or more of the label pockets 216 and 220. The card may be used to label the ensemble and may include a description for which day or occasion the ensemble is to be worn.
  • The garment cover 102 may be fabricated from several materials, such as muslin, plastic material, vinyl tape or fabric material. For example, the garment cover 102 may be die-cut from vinyl type fabric and the seams sealed by the welding process. The vinyl type fabric may have a soft hand matte finish to prevent a garment from sticking to the fabric. It will be appreciated that the garment cover 102 may be made from many processes and are not limited to the illustrative embodiments of the present disclosure.
  • Footwear Pouch
  • FIG. 3A and 3B illustrate a front face 302 and a rear face 304 respectively of the footwear pouch 104, according to some embodiments of the disclosure. The front face 302 and the rear face 304 include an extended rectangular section. Two pockets 306 and 308 are formed on the front face 302 at both ends of the footwear pouch 104. A left edge of the left pocket 306 is aligned with the left edge of the footwear pouch 104, and a right edge of the right pocket 308 is aligned with the right edge of the footwear pouch 104. Top and bottom edges of the pockets 306 and 308 are aligned with the top and bottom edges of the footwear pouch 104, respectively. The edges of the pockets 306 and 308 that are aligned with the left and right edges of the footwear pouch 104 and the top and bottom edges of the pockets 306 and 308 are each attached to the respective edges of the footwear pouch 104. The remaining edge of each pocket 306 and 308 is not attached to the footwear pouch 104 and acts as opening for the pockets 306 and 308.
  • The rear face 304 of the footwear pouch 104 includes four hook and loop fastener (such as Velcro®) dots 310, 312, 314 and 316 that are positioned along the top and bottom edges of the rear face 304. Two hook and loop fastener (such as Velcro®) dots 310 and 312 are positioned along the top edge of the rear face 304 and the remaining two hook and loop fastener (such as Velcro®) dots 314 and 316 are positioned along the bottom edge of the rear face 304. In an exemplary embodiment, the two dots along each edge may be positioned at approximately 41 and 51 inches from the left edge of the rear face 304. In another embodiment, instead of hook and loop fastener (such as Velcro®) dots any other suitable fasteners, such as snap-on type fasteners, may be used.
  • Further, the footwear pouch may be hung over a horizontal cross-bar of the one or more hangers 108 as shown in FIG. 3C. A pair of footwear may be securely held in the pockets 306 and 308 of the footwear pouch 104. The length L7 of the footwear pouch 104 may be determined such that the shoes hang below the garment as shown in FIG. 1. Further, the width L8 of the footwear pouch 104 and the height L9 of the pockets 306 and 308 is determined such that the pockets 306 and 308 are able to secure the footwear 112. In an exemplary embodiment, the length L7 of the footwear pouch is 68 inches, the width L8 is 13 inches and the height L9 is 14 inches. The footwear pouch 104 may be fabricated from cotton muslin. Further, the pockets 306 and 308 may be made from a transparent fabric, such as organza or nylon mesh, thus allowing the user to view the footwear 112 without removing them from the pockets 306 and 308. The opening edges of the pockets 306 and 308 may include grosgrain ribbon material that may be applied with a double needle.
  • In certain embodiments, as the footwear pouch 104 is resting across the cross-bar of the one or more hangers 108, the left edge of the footwear pouch 104 hangs a distance L10 below the right edge, such that the footwear placed in the two pockets do not overlap on each other and the total lateral bulk of the footwear pouch 104 is reduced. In an exemplary embodiment, L9 is 14 inches. Further, the footwear pouch 104 is kept secured to the cross-bar of the one or more hangers 108 by attaching the two hook and loop fastener (such as Velcro®) dots 310 and 316 (as shown in FIG. 3C) and the two hook and loop fastener (such as Velcro®) dots 312 and 314.
  • Necklace/Jewelry Holder

In an exemplary embodiment, the boning material 422 is inserted in the channel approximately 1 inch down from the top of the necklace holder 106. The boning material 422 helps to retain the shape of the necklace holder 106.
  • The necklace 114 (shown in FIG. 1) may be secured with the ribbon ties 116, wherein the ribbon ties 116 tie into a bow (shown in FIG. 1) to hold the necklace 114. The necklace 114 may be secured using the ribbon ties 116 without unhooking the necklace 114. Once the necklace 114 is secured by the ribbon ties 116, the necklace 114 may be positioned inside the pocket 406. After the necklace 114 is positioned inside the pocket 406, the Velcro® dots on both the interior surfaces of the pocket 406 may be engaged, thus containing the necklace 114 inside the pocket 406 and ensuring that the necklace 114 is not damaged from clacking together or tangling. Further, the top section 408 of the pocket 406 is made using a transparent material, so a user may view the necklace 114 without removing it from the pocket 406. The necklace holder 106 may be stored in a drawer, packed in a suitcase or hanged using the loop 402 over the one or more hangers 108. The pocket 406 is designed to accommodate even oversized necklaces. Further, one or more necklaces may be hung on each face of the necklace holder 106. Each necklace is hung from one of the ribbons ties placed on both front and rear faces of the necklace holder 106.
