- Referring to
FIGS. 2 , 3 and 4, an article display device according to a first preferred embodiment is capable of holding a plurality ofprecision tools 2 and being converted between a planar display state and three-dimensional display state. There are many types ofprecision tools 2, and screw drivers are used as an example. Eachscrew driver tool 2 includes ahandle 21 and ashank 22 for rotating screws, and agroove 211 is formed in thehandle 21. - The article display device is a unitary body of a plastic material that includes a
display unit 3, aconnecting mechanism 4, and ahanger plate 5 connected turnably to thedisplay unit 3. - The
display unit 3 includes twoside display plates 31 and a connecting display unit disposed between and connected turnably to theside display plates 3. The connecting display unit includes at least one connectingdisplay plate 32. Each of theside display plates 31 has afirst display face 311 that faces theprecision tools 2, afirst back face 312 disposed opposite to thefirst display face 311, an innerinclined face 313 that inclines from an edge of thefirst back face 312 that is closer to the connectingdisplay plate 32, and an outerinclined face 314 that is formed opposite to the innerinclined face 313. The connectingdisplay plate 32 has asecond display face 321 disposed between the twofirst display faces 311 of theside display plates 31, asecond back face 322 disposed between thefirst back faces 312 of theside display plates 31, and two connectinginclined face 323 respectively disposed adjacent to the innerinclined faces 313 of theside display plates 31. - In this preferred embodiment, the
display unit 3 further includes three pairs ofabutment parts 33 respectively provided on each of the first andsecond back faces hanger sets 34 provided on the first and second display faces 311, 321. Theabutment parts 33 in each pair are triangular in shape and placed at the top and bottom of the first and second back faces 312, 322. Eachabutment part 33 has anabutting surface 331. In this preferred embodiment, the plurality ofhanger sets 34 are identical with one another. Eachhanger set 34 has afirst hanger plate 341 protruding from the first orsecond display face second hanger plates 342 protruding from the first orsecond display face first hanger plate 341. Thefirst hanger plate 341 has twoinstallation slots 343 each corresponding to thegroove 211 in thehandle 21 for holding theprecision tool 2. Eachsecond hanger plate 342 has aretaining hole 344 that retains theshank 22 when theprecision tool 2 is inserted therethrough. - Referring to
FIGS. 3 , 4, and 5, theconnecting mechanism 4 includes a plurality of vertically arranged connectingunits 40.
