FIG. 1A is a schematic cross-sectional view of a housing of a conventional wrist exercising device.FIG. 1B is a schematic enlarged view of an area R inFIG. 1A . As shown inFIGS. 1A and 1B , thehousing 100 includes atop cover 110 and abottom cover 120. Thetop cover 110 has a joiningpart 112 and thebottom cover 120 includes a joiningpart 122 corresponding to the joiningpart 112. Thetop cover 110 and thebottom cover 120 can be combined through a combination of the joiningparts part 112 has ascrew thread structure 113 and the annular joiningpart 122 has ascrew thread structure 123 corresponding to thescrew thread structure 113, and in the prior art, the combination of thetop cover 110 and thebottom cover 120 is realized by joining thescrew thread structures - However, the top and bottom covers 110, 120 are required to have a sufficient wall thickness for processing the
screw thread structures housing 100, thereby causing a relatively high manufacturing cost and a relatively large weight for thehousing 100. - The present invention provides a housing of a wrist exercising device with advantages of lower cost and lighter weight.
- The present invention further provides a wrist exercising device with advantages of lower cost and lighter weight.
- To achieve the above-mentioned advantage or other advantages, the present invention provides a housing of a wrist exercising device, which includes a first cover, a second cover and a fixing ring. The first cover has a first bowl part and a first annular joining part. The first bowl part has a first opening end, and the first annular joining part extends from the first opening end. The second cover has a second bowl part and a second annular joining part. The second bowl part has a second opening end, and the second annular joining part extends from the second opening end. The fixing ring joins the first and second annular joining parts.
- In an embodiment of the present invention, the first bowl part has a first extending segment arranged at the first opening end thereof and extending inwardly from the first opening end, and the first annular joining part is installed to the first extending segment. The second bowl part has a second extending segment arranged at the second opening end thereof and extending inwardly from the second opening end, and the second annular joining part is installed to the second extending segment. The two ends of the fixing ring are leant against the first and second extending segments, respectively.
- In an embodiment of the present invention, the first cover further has a first annular platform annularly installed to one side of the first annular joining part facing to the second annular joining part, the second cover further has a second annular platform annularly connected to one side of the second annular joining part facing to the first annular joining part, and the first and second annular platforms corresponds to each other.
- In an embodiment of the present invention, the housing of the wrist exercising device further includes an outer ring surrounding the fixing ring.
- In an embodiment of the present invention, the first and second annular joining parts are engaged to and surrounded by the fixing ring.
- To achieve the above-mentioned advantage or other advantages, the present invention further provides a wrist exercising device, which includes the above-mentioned housing and a rotating device disposed in the housing.
- In an embodiment of the present invention, the rotating device includes a rotating shaft, an annular wrapping element and a rotating ring. The rotating shaft has two ends installed between the first and second annular platforms. The annular wrapping element wraps a portion of the rotating shaft. The rotating ring surrounds the rotating shaft and has two opposite shaft holes into which the two ends of the rotating shaft are inserted, respectively.
- In an embodiment of the present invention, the wrist exercising device further includes a first annular track and a second annular track. The first annular track is disposed at to the first annular platform and the second annular track is disposed at the second annular platform. The two ends of the rotating shaft are installed between the first and second annular tracks.
- In an embodiment of the present invention, the wrist exercising device further includes a counter, which is disposed at one side of the first cover opposite to the first opening end or disposed at one side of the second cover opposite to the second opening end. The rotating device further includes a signal emitter attached to the annular wrapping element and configured to provide signals to the counter.
- In the embodiment of the wrist exercising device and the housing thereof, because the first and second covers of the housing are provided with the first and second annular joining parts, respectively, the first and second covers can be combined through joining the fixing ring to the first and second annular joining parts. Furthermore, since screw thread structures are not required to be formed on the first and second covers, the wall thickness of each of the first and second covers can be significantly reduced, thereby reducing the material cost and the weight of the housing. Thus, the wrist exercising device of the present embodiment has the advantages of low cost and light weight.
