- Exercising with weights may require a user to position said weights in hard to position areas. Sometimes grasping a standard dumbbell with two hands in front of the chest or behind the head can be difficult, as the diameter of the dumbbell may bump into the user's body.
- A Dumbbell of the invention is a dumbbell that has cylindrical detachable weights. Each detachable weight can have additional cylindrical weights placed on top on them. A design like this allows a user to maneuver the dumbbell with a lower risk of the dumbbell bumping into the user's body.

FIG. 1 is a schematic view of a Dumbbell of the invention -
FIG. 2 is a frontal view of a Dumbbell of the invention with one set of cylindrical detachable weights. -
FIG. 3 is a frontal view of a Dumbbell of the invention with four sets of cylindrical detachable weights. - A Dumbbell of the invention may contain a pole-like structure 2, as seen in
FIG. 1 . The pole-like structure 2 may or may not have anergonomic hand grip 1 for a user's comfort. Each end of the pole-like structure 2 can hold and secure first level cylindricaldetachable weights 6. After first level cylindricaldetachable weights 6 have been attached to the pole-like structure 2, additional weights can be attached and secured over the previously attached weights. First level cylindricaldetachable weights 6 can have second level cylindricaldetachable weights 5 placed on top of them. Second level cylindrical detachable 5 weights can have third level cylindricaldetachable weights 4 placed on them. Third level cylindrical detachable 4 weights can have fourth level cylindricaldetachable weights 3 placed on them and additional weights can be added on to a user's content.
Claims (2)
1. A dumbbell comprising:
a pole-like structure with the capability of attaching and securing detachable weights on both ends; at least one or a plurality of cylindrical detachable weights that attach to a pole-like structure; and at least one or a plurality of cylindrical detachable weights that have sequentially increased diameters to fit over previously placed cylindrical detachable weights.
2. A pole-like structure of claim 1 further comprising a hand grip.
