Abstract
An assembled box comprises multiple rectangular boards, multiple jointing members, and multiple coupling members. Each rectangular board defines a plurality of side holes and surface holes. Each jointing member is integrally formed with multiple pins. Each pin can be inserted into one of the side holes. Each coupling member can be inserted into one of the surface holes to be coupled with the one pin of a jointing member. Thereby, the rectangular boards can be placed horizontally or vertically and fixedly joined one after another by the jointing members with the coupling members to form a box containing multiple spaces therein.
Description
- The present invention relates to an assembled box and, more particularly, to a multi-space box that can be assembled by employing a plurality of rectangular boards to be placed horizontally or vertically and fixedly joined one after another with a plurality of jointing members in cooperation with a plurality of coupling members.
- Generally, storage boxes are made of wood or plastic material. To save space, a user may stack multiple storage boxes. Conventional storage boxes are only provided with a simple structure to assist the user in stacking the boxes. Since conventional storage boxes cannot be interlocked with each other, they are liable to fall down when encountering collisions or vibrations, thereby causing damages to goods and injuries to persons.
- In view of the drawback of conventional storage boxes, based on the long-term experiences and after constant efforts on the research and experiments of storage boxes, the applicant has contrived a box that can be assembled more conveniently and stacked more securely.
- The primary object of the present invention is to provide an assembled box that can be constructed by employing a plurality of rectangular boards to be placed horizontally or vertically and fixedly joined one after another with a plurality of jointing members in cooperation with a plurality of coupling members to prevent the box from falling down when encountering collisions or vibrations.
- The assembled box comprises a plurality of rectangular boards, a plurality of jointing members, and a plurality of coupling members. Two sides of each rectangular board are each formed with two chamfers. Each rectangular board defines a plurality of side holes and surface holes at four corners thereof, so that each surface hole communicates with and extends substantially perpendicular to a corresponding side hole. Each jointing member is integrally formed with a plurality of pins, each pin having a protrusion formed at one end thereof. Each pin is capable of being inserted into one of the side holes. Each coupling member defines an opening at a bottom thereof and a spiral recess extending at a predetermined length from the opening, so that each coupling member can be inserted into one of the surface holes to be coupled with the protrusion of one pin of one of the jointing members. Thereby, the rectangular boards can be placed horizontally or vertically and fixedly joined one after another by inserting the pins of the jointing members and the coupling members respectively into the side holes and the surface holes to allow each coupling member to be coupled with the protrusion of a pin of a corresponding jointing member so as to form a box containing multiple spaces therein.
- Other objects, advantages, and novel features of the present invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

For across-shaped jointing member 2, thepins 21 are formed respectively corresponding to four pieces of the rectangular boards (seeFIG. 9 ). - Regarding the
coupling member 3, since it has been described in the first embodiment, a detailed description for it is omitted here. In this embodiment, therectangular boards 1 can be fixedly joined together by twojointing members 2 withcoupling members 3 associated therewith to form a junction. - As shown in
FIG. 8 , two pieces of therectangular boards 1 can be fixedly joined together by two L-shapedjointing members 2 each in cooperation with a plurality ofcoupling members 3 to form a junction at a corner of the assembled box. - As shown in
FIG. 7 , three pieces of therectangular boards 1 can be fixedly joined together by two T-shapedjointing members 2 each in cooperation with a plurality ofcoupling members 3 to form a junction at an outside boundary other than the corners of the assembled box. - As shown in
FIG. 9 , four pieces of therectangular boards 1 can be joined together by twocross-shaped jointing members 2 each in cooperation with a plurality ofcoupling members 3 to form a junction at an interior boundary of the assembled box. - Therefore, the
rectangular boards 1 can be placed horizontally or vertically and fixedly joined one after another by thejointing members 2 of various types in cooperation with thecoupling members 3 to form an assembled box containing multiple spaces therein. - Turning now to
FIG. 11 , a third embodiment of assembled box according to the present invention is shown. In the third embodiment, each of the second pair ofopposite sides 12 does not contain chamfers as formed in the first embodiment, so that each of the second pair ofopposite sides 12 will be placed in direct contact with its adjacent board. Except for the second pair ofopposite sides 12, the third embodiment has a structure almost the same as the first embodiment, and thus a detailed description for this embodiment is omitted here. - In light of the foregoing, the present invention employs a plurality of
rectangular boards 1 to be fixedly joined together by a plurality ofjointing members 2 of various types in cooperation with a plurality ofcoupling members 3 to form an assembled box containing multiple spaces therein. In the present invention, since the rectangular boards are interlocked with each other, the assembled box can be prevented from falling down when encountering collisions or vibrations. - Although the present invention has been described with a certain degree of particularity, it is understood that the present disclosure is made by way of example only and the combination and arrangement of parts may be resorted to without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention hereinafter claimed.
