Abstract

The present invention is a releasable bottle handle that includes a rectangular fabric wrap with a first end, a second end and a middle portion, the rectangular fabric wrap is wrapped and releasably secured around a two liter bottle, a hook and loop fastener that includes a hook portion and a loop portion, the hook portion is disposed on the first end of the rectangular fabric wrap and the loop portion is disposed on the second end of the rectangular fabric wrap and a handle with a middle portion, the handle is disposed on the middle portion of the rectangular fabric wrap, the handle is grasped and transported by a user with the user's one hand.

Description

RELEASABLE BOTTLE HANDLE

This application claims priority to U.S. Provisional Application 61/524,318 filed on Aug. 16, 2011, the entire disclosure of which is incorporated by reference.

TECHNICAL FIELD & BACKGROUND

A two liter bottle is relatively awkward and cumbersome for pouring liquid that is contained in the two liter bottle into a drink receptacle and is typically used with two hands in contrast to using one hand for pouring a liquid out of a relatively smaller bottle. Two liter bottles collapse once a cap is removed from the two liter bottle and the gauge of the plastic of the two liter bottle still cannot facilitate a user's grip without using 2 hands to secure the weight and volume of the liquid in the two liter bottle for pouring.
The present invention generally relates to a handle. More specifically, the invention is a releasable bottle handle.
It is an object of the invention to provide a releasable bottle handle that can be relatively easily and quickly utilized to facilitate pouring liquid contained in a two liter bottle.
It is an object of the invention to provide a releasable bottle handle that can be utilized to carry and pour liquid contained in a two liter bottle with one hand.
It is an object of the invention to provide a releasable bottle handle that is machine washable and relatively durable and inexpensive to use.
What is really needed is a releasable bottle handle that can be relatively easily and quickly utilized to facilitate pouring liquid contained in a two liter bottle that can be utilized to carry and pour liquid contained in a two liter bottle with one hand that is machine washable and relatively durable and inexpensive to use.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF ILLUSTRATIVE EMBODIMENTS

Various aspects of the illustrative embodiments will be described using terms commonly employed by those skilled in the art to convey the substance of their work to others skilled in the art. However, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that the present invention may be practiced with only some of the described aspects. For purposes of explanation, specific numbers, materials and configurations are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the illustrative embodiments. However, it will be apparent to one skilled in the art that the present invention may be practiced without the specific details. In other instances, well-known features are omitted or simplified in order not to obscure the illustrative embodiments.
Various operations will be described as multiple discrete operations, in turn, in a manner that is most helpful in understanding the present invention, however, the order of description should not be construed as to imply that these operations are necessarily order dependent. In particular, these operations need not be performed in the order of presentation.
The phrase “in one embodiment” is used repeatedly. The phrase generally does not refer to the same embodiment, however, it may. The terms “comprising”, “having” and “including” are synonymous, unless the context dictates otherwise.
FIG. 1A illustrates an environmental side perspective view of a releasable bottle handle 100, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention.
The releasable bottle handle 100 includes a rectangular fabric wrap 110, a hook and loop fastener 120 and a handle 130. The rectangular fabric wrap 110 has a first end 112, a second end 114 and a middle portion 116. The rectangular fabric wrap 110 is wrapped and releasably secured around a two liter bottle TLB. The rectangular fabric wrap 110 is made of nylon but can be made of stretchable fabric such as SPANDEX™ stretchable synthetic fabric or other suitable material. The rectangular fabric wrap 110 is approximately 15 inches in width and approximately 4½ inches in height but can be any other suitable dimensions. The hook and loop fastener 120 includes a hook portion 122 and a loop portion 124 and the hook portion 122 is disposed on the first end 112 of the rectangular fabric wrap 110 and the loop portion 124 is disposed on the second end 114 of the rectangular fabric wrap 110. The hook and loop fastener 120 releasably fastens when the first end 112 and the hook portion 122 and the second end 114 and the loop portion 124 of the rectangular fabric wrap 110 are in contact. The hook and loop fastener 120 releases when the first end 112 and the hook portion 122 and the second end 114 and the loop portion 124 of the rectangular fabric wrap 110 are separated typically by hand. The hook portion 122 and a loop portion 124 of the hook and loop fastener 120 are sewn onto the first end 112 and the second end 114 of the rectangular fabric wrap 110 with nylon thread 121 for added strength and waterproofing. The handle 130 has a middle portion 132 and is disposed on the middle portion 116 of the rectangular fabric wrap 110 and is grasped by a user with a user's one hand to lift and transport a two liter bottle TLB relatively easier than grasping and transporting the two liter bottle TLB with a user's two hands. The handle 130 has a plastic channel 134 in the middle portion 132 of the handle 130 to facilitate the user grasping and transporting the two liter bottle TLB with the user's one hand. The handle 130 also protrudes horizontally from the rectangular fabric wrap 110 to facilitate the user grasping and transporting the two liter bottle TLB with the user's one hand.
FIG. 1B illustrates a top environmental perspective view of a releasable bottle handle 100, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention.
The releasable bottle handle 100 illustrated and described in FIG. 1B has a similar rectangular fabric wrap 110, hook and loop fastener 120 and handle 130 to the releasable bottle handle 100, rectangular fabric wrap 110, hook and loop fastener 120 and handle 130 illustrated and described in FIG. 1A.
FIG. 1C illustrates a top perspective view of a releasable bottle handle 100, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention.
The releasable bottle handle 100 illustrated and described in FIG. 1C has a similar rectangular fabric wrap 110, hook and loop fastener 120 and handle 130 to the releasable bottle handle 100, rectangular fabric wrap 110, hook and loop fastener 120 and handle 130 illustrated and described in FIG. 1A.
The releasable bottle handle utilizes a nylon fabric wrap with a hook and loop fastener on both ends of the nylon fabric wrap and a handle sewn in at approximately half of the length of the nylon fabric wrap that is secured around a 2 liter soft drink bottle by the ends of the nylon fabric wrap. The releasable bottle handle provides a carrying handle for a two liter bottle for pouring with one hand. The releasable bottle handle is machine washable, relatively durable and inexpensive to use. The releasable bottle handle requires only enough strength to fasten the two hook and loop ends.
While the present invention has been related in terms of the foregoing embodiments, those skilled in the art will recognize that the invention is not limited to the embodiments described. The present invention can be practiced with modification and alteration within the spirit and scope of the appended claims. Thus, the description is to be regarded as illustrative instead of restrictive on the present invention.

Claims

1. A releasable bottle handle, comprising:

a rectangular fabric wrap with a first end, a second end and a middle portion, the rectangular fabric wrap is wrapped and releasably secured around a two liter bottle;

a hook and loop fastener that includes a hook portion and a loop portion, the hook portion is disposed on the first end of the rectangular fabric wrap and the loop portion is disposed on the second end of the rectangular fabric wrap; and

a handle with a middle portion, the handle is disposed on the middle portion of the rectangular fabric wrap, the handle is grasped and transported by a user with the user's one hand.

2. The releasable bottle handle according to claim 1, wherein the rectangular fabric wrap is made of nylon.

3. The releasable bottle handle according to claim 1, wherein the rectangular fabric wrap is made of stretchable fabric.

4. The releasable bottle handle according to claim 1, wherein rectangular fabric wrap is approximately 15 inches in width.

5. The releasable bottle handle according to claim 1, wherein the rectangular fabric wrap is approximately 4½ inches in height.

6. The releasable bottle handle according to claim 1, wherein the hook and loop fastener releasably fastens when the first end and the hook portion and the second end and the loop portion of the rectangular fabric wrap are in contact.

7. The releasable bottle handle according to claim 1, wherein the hook and loop fastener releases when the first end and the hook portion and the second end and the loop portion of the rectangular fabric wrap are separated by hand.

8. The releasable bottle handle according to claim 1, wherein the hook portion and the loop portion of the hook and loop fastener are sewn onto the first end and the second end of the rectangular fabric wrap.

9. The releasable bottle handle according to claim 1, wherein the handle has a plastic channel in the middle portion of the handle, the handle to facilitate the user grasping and transporting the two liter bottle with the user's one hand.

10. The releasable bottle handle according to claim 1, wherein the handle protrudes horizontally from the rectangular fabric wrap, the handle to facilitate the user grasping and transporting the two liter bottle with the user's one hand.

11. A releasable bottle handle, comprising:

a hook and loop fastener that includes a hook portion and a loop portion, the hook portion is disposed on the first end of the rectangular fabric wrap and the loop portion is disposed on the second end of the rectangular fabric wrap, the hook and loop fastener releasably fastens when the first end and the hook portion and the second end and the loop portion of the rectangular fabric wrap are in contact and the hook and loop fastener releases when the first end and the hook portion and the second end and the loop portion of the rectangular fabric wrap are separated by hand; and

12. The releasable bottle handle according to claim 11, wherein the rectangular fabric wrap is made of nylon.

13. The releasable bottle handle according to claim 11, wherein the rectangular fabric wrap is made of stretchable fabric.

14. The releasable bottle handle according to claim 13, wherein the rectangular fabric wrap is made of stretchable synthetic fabric.

15. The releasable bottle handle according to claim 11, wherein rectangular fabric wrap is approximately 15 inches in width.

16. The releasable bottle handle according to claim 11, wherein the rectangular fabric wrap is approximately 4½ inches in height.

17. The releasable bottle handle according to claim 11, wherein the hook portion and the loop portion of the hook and loop fastener are sewn onto the first end and the second end of the rectangular fabric wrap.

18. The releasable bottle handle according to claim 17, wherein the hook portion and the loop portion of the hook and loop fastener are sewn onto the first end and the second end of the rectangular fabric wrap with nylon thread.

19. The releasable bottle handle according to claim 11, wherein the handle has a plastic channel in the middle portion of the handle, the handle to facilitate the user grasping and transporting the two liter bottle with the user's one hand.

20. The releasable bottle handle according to claim 11, wherein the handle protrudes horizontally from the rectangular fabric wrap, the handle to facilitate the user grasping and transporting the two liter bottle with the user's one hand.
