-
FIG. 1 illustrates a side perspective view of atoothbrush 100 and toothpaste tube holder, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. - The
toothbrush 100 includes atoothbrush head 110, a plurality ofbristles 120, abase cap 130 and atoothpaste tube 140. - The
toothbrush head 110 is an elongatedhollow tube 112 with a closedend 114 and adistal end 116 that has a plurality ofapertures 118 disposed on thedistal end 116 of the elongatedtubular head 110. Toothpaste is received into and pushed through the elongatedtubular head 110 and to theapertures 118. Thebristles 120 are disposed on thedistal end 116 of the elongatedtubular head 110 above theapertures 118. Thebristles 120 receive toothpaste that is received in the elongatedtubular head 110 and pushed through theapertures 118. Thebase cap 130 is screwed directly onto a toothpastetube dispersing nozzle 132 and provides a secure seal between thetoothbrush head 110 and the toothpastetube dispersing nozzle 132. Thebase cap 130 is provided with a plurality ofexterior perimeter ridges 134 that facilitate providing a secure seal between the toothbrush head and the toothpaste tube dispersing nozzle. Thetoothpaste tube 140 contains toothpaste that is pushed into and through the elongatedhollow tube 112 and theapertures 118 by typically squeezing thetoothpaste tube 140 typically manually, by turning a toothpaste key or other suitable squeezing method. Thetoothpaste tube 140 can be any suitable brand or type of toothpaste tube containing any suitable brand or type of toothpaste. Thetoothbrush 100 is approximately 3 to 3½ inches long, although thetoothbrush 100 can be other suitable lengths as well. Thetoothbrush 100 is also made of relatively durable waterproof materials. - The toothbrush is comprised of a hollow toothbrush head with a built-in cap located at its base. The toothbrush is a superior alternative to current toothbrushes on the market. Straightforward to connect, the cap is simply screwed directly onto the toothpaste tube dispersing nozzle providing a secure seal between the toothbrush head and the toothpaste tube. When ready to use, squeeze the desired amount of toothpaste from the toothpaste tube, causing it to travel through the toothbrush and finally exiting from the bristles. The toothbrush is able to prevent large messes while promoting healthy brushing habits for children and adults alike and the toothbrush will be readily available for sale at retail department stores. The toothbrush features a toothbrush head afforded a universal cap base, allowing effortless fastening of any size toothpaste tube. The toothbrush is designed to be fun for children and promote healthy brushing habits, while eliminating undesired messes.
