  • When the Retractable Child Vanity Step is no longer needed it can be removed from the vanity, restoring it to its original condition.
  • The operation of the Retractable Child Vanity Step is very simple. The child opens the vanity door and pulls it out. Then the side step is rotated out and down into operating position. The retractable leg automatically extends out for support, being pulled by an extension spring. The child steps into it and is able to reach the vanity faucets. When the child is finished with the use of the sink, steps down to the bathroom floor, retracts the side step into the unit and pushes the Retractable Child Vanity Step into the vanity for storage. Side rails keep the child safe from falling from the steps.
  • There is a plurality of variants of the Retractable Child Vanity Step. It can be fabricated in molded plastic, wood, metal or other suitable materials and colors. The overall dimensions can be changed to fit different vanities or styles. The side step could be to the right or to the left. A storage drawer can be fit on the bottom of the top step. The sliding guides that attach the Retractable Child Vanity Step to the floor of the vanity can be made from a number of suitable materials and sizes.
