- According to first and second embodiments of the present invention, there is provided an assembly type packaging box capable of being transformed into a rack that can accommodate and keep a bottle of wine thereon, but the assembly type package box is not limited to the box for packaging the bottle of wine or the rack for displaying the bottle of wine.
- Referring to
FIGS. 1 to 8 , hereinafter, the first and second embodiments of the present invention will be explained. - First, an assembly type packaging box capable of being transformed into a rack according to the first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to
FIGS. 1 to 6 . The assembly type packaging box includes anouter box 10 and aninner box 20. As shown inFIGS. 1 to 3 , theouter box 10 and theinner box 20 each has a shape of a band having two open facing lateral sides in a rectangular parallelepiped box, and when theinner box 20 is completely inserted into theouter box 10 and closed by theouter box 10, they have a rectangular parallelepiped packaging box (SeeFIG. 1 ). - An item to be accommodated in the packaging box is disposed inside the
inner box 20, and as shown inFIG. 2 , when one side of theinner box 20 is pushed, theinner box 20 is separated from theouter box 10 to take the item accommodated in theinner box 20 to the outside. - As shown in
FIG. 3 , theinner box 20 is completely separated from theouter box 10, and after that, as shown inFIG. 4 , theouter box 10 and theinner box 20 are cross-coupled to each other to build an X-shaped rack. - According to the first embodiment of the present invention, the
outer box 10 and theinner box 20 each has two incision lines formed on one side of each lateral side thereof. In more detail, as shown inFIG. 3 , theouter box 10 has twoincision lines incision lines inner box 20 has twoincision lines incision lines - The
outer box 10 and theinner box 20 having the incision lines formed thereon are cross-coupled to each other to build the X-shaped rack, and in more detail, theincision line 11 is cross-coupled to theincision line - So as to perform the cross-coupling of the
outer box 10 and theinner box 20, the two incision lines (11 and 12, and 13 and 14) formed serially on theouter box 10 should be spaced apart from each other by a distance corresponding to a width d1 between the two lateral sides of theinner box 20, and the two incision lines (21 and 22, and 23 and 24) formed serially on theinner box 20 should be spaced apart from each other by a distance corresponding to a width d2 between the two lateral sides of theouter box 10. - Furthermore, a thickness of each of the
incision lines 11 to 14 formed on theouter box 10 is set to correspond to a thickness of the lateral face of theinner box 20, and a thickness of each of theincision lines 21 to 24 formed on theinner box 20 is set to correspond to a thickness of the lateral face of theouter box 10. Herein, the corresponding thickness is equal to the thickness of the lateral side or is a little higher than the thickness of the lateral side in such a manner as to insert the lateral side into the incision line, while being not escaped well therefrom. - Also, if a length A of each incision line of the
inner box 20 and a length B of each incision line of theouter box 10 are too short, the coupling between theouter box 10 and theinner box 20 is not stable, and contrarily, if they are too long, theouter box 10 and theinner box 20 are protruded upwardly after coupling, which gives bad influences on the stability and appearance. Thus, the addition of the length A of each incision line of theinner box 20 and the length B of each incision line of theouter box 10 is greater than a width I2 between the lateral sides of theinner box 20 and is less than a width I1 between the lateral sides of the outer box, and since the size of theouter box 10 is larger than that of theinner box 20, the length B of each incision line of theouter box 10 is longer than the length A of each incision line of theinner box 20. - Also, if the two incision lines formed serially on the lateral sides of the
outer box 10 and theinner box 20 are spaced apart from each other by the same distance from the center of the lateral side of each box, as shown inFIG. 4 , five space portions having similar sizes to one another are formed in the assembly type packaging box transformed into the rack, in which bottles of wine can be laid for their storage. Further, if the X-shaped rack is laid inside a drawer, a variety of items like underwear, neckties, accessories and so on can be organized well therein. - Like this, after the assembly type packaging box is transformed into the rack, a variety of items can be positioned, and if the
inner box 20 is inserted into theouter box 10 again, theinner box 20 and theouter box 10 can be used again as the assembly type packaging box for packaging various items therein. However, if a fragile item like a bottle of wine is accommodated therein, the two facing lateral sides of theinner box 20 into which the item is stored are opened, so that in the process of separating theinner box 20 from theouter box 10, the item may fall down and be even destroyed. - So as to fixedly accommodate the item in the lower portion of the
inner box 20, theinner box 20 has alower fixing plate 26 having an opening formed correspondingly to the underside outer peripheral surface of the item to be accommodated therein, and so as to fixedly accommodate the item in the upper portion of theinner box 20, theinner box 20 has an upper fixing plate 8 having an opening formed correspondingly to the upper outer peripheral surface of the item to be accommodated therein, thereby allowing the item to be stably accommodated in theinner box 20. - After the assembly type packaging box is transformed into the rack, however, if the
upper fixing plate 28 and thelower fixing plate 26 still exist in the space portion of the rack, they may give bad influences on the functions of the rack. Thus, desirably, they are detachably mounted inside theinner box 20, and as shown inFIG. 5 , theinner box 20 hasguide grooves 27 and 29 formed at the inside thereof in such a manner as to easily detachably mount thelower fixing plate 26 and theupper fixing plate 28 on theinner box 20. - Furthermore, the
outer box 10 of the assembly type packaging box according to the present invention has the two open facing lateral sides, and thus, if theinner box 20 is inserted into one open lateral side of theouter box 10, it may be pushed to the outside through the other open lateral side thereof. Therefore, desirably, auxiliary members are needed to insert theinner box 20 into a given position inside theouter box 10. - As shown in
FIG. 6 , the auxiliary members include aprotrusion 15 formed on the inside bottom of theouter box 10 and anelongated slot 25 formed on the outside underside of theinner box 20, thereby preventing theinner box 20 from being pushed inwardly over the end of theelongated slot 25. However, the auxiliary members are not restricted to the configuration of the protrusion and the slot, but may include a magnet mounted on the inside bottom of theouter box 10 and a metal or another magnet having opposite polarity to the magnet mounted on the outside underside of theinner box 20, thereby inserting theinner box 20 into the given position inside theouter box 10 and preventing theinner box 20 from being escaped from theouter box 10 easily. - The
inner box 20 positioned inside theouter box 10 is drawn from theouter box 10 by pushing one lateral side thereof, and alternatively, theinner box 20 is drawn from theouter box 10 by taking a handle H disposed on one lateral side of theinner box 20. If the handle H is mounted, as shown inFIG. 5 , it is disposed at the center of one lateral side of theinner box 20. - According to the second embodiment of the present invention, as shown in
FIG. 7 , there is provided an assembly type packaging box capable of being transformed into a rack that is provided with an outer box and two inner boxes adapted to be inserted into the outer box. In more detail, the assembly type packaging box capable of being transformed into a rack includes: anouter box 10 having two open lateral sides facing each other; a firstinner box 20 having two open lateral sides facing each other and adapted to be inserted into one lateral side of theouter box 10; a secondinner box 30 having two open lateral sides facing each other and adapted to be inserted into the other lateral side of theouter box 10. - The first
inner box 20 and the secondinner box 30 are inserted serially into theouter box 10 and closed by theouter box 10 to have a shape of a generally rectangular parallelepiped, and after the separation of them from theouter box 10, they are cross-coupled to one side and the other side of theouter box 10 to build an X-shaped rack, as shown inFIG. 8 . - Unlike the first embodiment of the present invention, the second embodiment of the present invention is configured to insert two inner boxes into one outer box, and therefore, the outer box is two times the size of the inner box. Also, the first
inner box 20 and the secondinner box 30 are cross-coupled to one side and the other side of theouter box 10, and unlike the outer box in the first embodiment of the present invention, therefore, the outer box in the second embodiment of the present invention has two incision lines formed on both sides of the lateral sides thereof. With the exclusion of the above-mentioned configuration, the second embodiment of the present invention is almost the same as the first embodiment of the present invention. - In more detail, the auxiliary member and the upper and lower fixing plates as mentioned in the first embodiment of the present invention are provided in the second embodiment of the present invention, and since two inner boxes are positioned serially inside the
outer box 10, especially, the handle H is desirably mounted on the lateral sides exposed to the outside of the firstinner box 20 and the secondinner box 30 so as to easily draw the firstinner box 20 and the secondinner box 30 from theouter box 10. - The incision lines formed on the first
inner box 20 and the secondinner box 30 and on theouter box 10 are the same as in the first embodiment of the present invention, but the addition (2×A) of a length A of each incision line of the firstinner box 20 and a length B of each incision line of the secondinner box 30 is equal to a length obtained by subtracting the addition (2×B) of each incision lines formed on both sides of the lateral sides of theouter box 10 from a width of the lateral side of theouter box 10, such that when they are transformed into the rack as shown inFIG. 8 , the firstinner box 20 and the secondinner box 30 can be stably coupled to theouter box 10. - In this case, the first
inner box 20 and the secondinner box 30 have coupling members formed on the lateral sides S1 and S2 facing each other at the time of being transformed into the rack, and the coupling members include magnets or a protrusion and a groove coupled to each other, such that the rack can be built more stably. - Since the rack built according to the second embodiment of the present invention is two times the length of the rack in the first embodiment of the present invention, it is very stable when items having long length like bottles of wines are kept therein.
- While the present invention has been described with reference to the particular illustrative embodiments, it is not to be restricted by the embodiments but only by the appended claims. It is to be appreciated that those skilled in the art can change or modify the embodiments without departing from the scope and spirit of the present invention.
