It will be noted that the guides 23 lit closely in the bottom of the recess 26, so'that said recess will not fill with lubricant during a 2 filling operation. e Y 1 Grease is forced from the greasenlreceptacle 9 by means of a piston 28 slidably mounted therein,

Y, yFrom the above it, will. be seen that aigrease gun filling machine isprovided which is simple in construction, theparts reduced to a minimum, and one wherein akgrease gun is supported in, a verticalf position, beneath a 'grease receptacle for filling purposes. It will also be seen that the flower, end of the receptacle is positivelygripped by the straps I7 and that the slidable "closure carred'by .the loiwer end of the receptacle is received in achamber inthe upper side of the shelf through which Vthe discharged grease isV forced.
