When the engineA is started, the lubricant pump forces, lubricant into the hollow shaft'ZI and,
thence, through the opening '135 and the bore @LA into the portion of the cylinder Ml below the plunger 4| and, so long as the engine lis operating, maintains the portion of the cylinder below the plunger iilled with lubricant.
