Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a water storage tank for water purifying system. Particularly, it relates to a water storage tank for water purifying system that has at least one air bag. This invention can be modified from an existing storage tank. There is no water leakage problem causing by the membrane of the storage tank. It is easy to replace the air bag. In addition, the overall cost is extremely low.
  • 2. Description of the Prior Art
  • Referring to FIG. 1, it shows a traditional water purifying system 90. It comprises a water inlet 91, a filter 92, a pump 93, a reverse osmosis filter 94, a water outlet 95, a water output portion 96, a storage tank 97, and a waste water collector 98. In which, the reverse osmosis filter 94 has a first end 941, a second end 942, and a third end 943. The first end 941 connects to the pump 93. The second end 942 connects to the water outlet 95. The third end 943 connects to the waste water collector 98. The water purified by the reverse osmosis filter 94 will flow to the water outlet 95 and then be stored in the storage tank 97.
  • There are many kinds of traditional storage tanks 97. Two of them are described below. As shown in FIG. 2, it is a traditional storage tank without welding seam. This kind of storage tank includes a storage tank casing 971, a membrane 972, a water storing space 973, an inflating air space 974, a connecting part 975, an inflating portion 976, and a sealing cover 977. However, it has the flowing two disadvantages:
  • [1] It is easy to become loose or cause leaking. FIG. 2 shows the membrane 972 has a securing portion 972A which is fixed between the sealing cover 977 and the storage tank casing 971. But, the securing portion 972A of the membrane 972 is easy to become loose. Not only its securing effect is poor, but also some water might leak out. Especially the water in the water storing space 973 might leak from the position of the securing portion 972A.
  • [2] It will cause air leaking problem. After it is used for a long time, the air leaking problem will occur at the inflating portion 976 due to aging.
  • FIG. 3 illustrates another traditional storage tank with welding seam. Its storage tank casing 971 comprises an upper casing 971A, a lower casing 971B, a welding portion 971C, an inner casing 971D, and a locking ring 971E. Concerning this design, it has the following disadvantages:
  • [1] The loose problem or water leaking problem will happen at the welding portion. As illustrated in FIG. 3, the securing portion 972A of the membrane 972 is secured on the inner casing 971D by the locking ring 971E tightly. Based on this design, it might become loose easily. Also, the water tends to leak at the welding portion.
  • [2] The manufacturing cost is relatively high. The structure of the traditional storage tank with welding seam is complicated. Plus, the required parts are more. So, the manufacturing cost is relatively high.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The object of the present invention is to provide a water storage tank for water purifying system. In which, this invention can be modified from an existing storage tank. There is no water leaking problem causing by the membrane of the storage tank. It is easy to replace the air bag. In addition, the overall cost is extremely low.
