The effect of having theelastic element 16′ is to shrink a size of thetop opening 15′ for securely retaining thewaste bag 5′ within thebag cavity 14′. - Also according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the
elastic element 16′ comprises twoelastic bands 161′. Theelastic bands 161′ are provided alongtop edges 131′ of the sidewalls 13′ respectively, so as to substantially pull thefront wall 11′ and therear wall 12′ towards each other so as to form thebag cavity 14′ having a trapezoid cross section. - Basically, when there are
fewer waste bags 5′ in thepouch body 10′, the flexibleelastic element 16′ prevents thewaste bags 5′ from falling out off thebag cavity 14′ due to the emptiness within thebag cavity 14′. And, when there aremany waste bags 5′ in thepouch body 10′, theelastic element 16′ expands to bind around thewaste bags 5′ within thepouch body 10′, such that thewaste bags 5′ will not loose out of thebag cavity 14′ simply because thebag cavity 14′ is fuller. - Referring to
FIG. 5 , the waste bags are installed inside thepouch body 10′ in a predetermined manner for the sake of easy pulling out continuously. In the first embodiment as illustrated inFIG. 5A , all the waste bags are detachably connected continuously, and are rolled together into abag roll 51′. Thebag roll 51′ is transversely stored in thebag cavity 14′ with the roll axes parallel to the dispensing slit 41′. The end of the rolling bags is slid out of thepouch body 10′ thought the dispensing slit 41′, so the user can reach the waste bag without opening thepouch body 10′. Since thewaste bags 5′ are detachably connected, when onewaste bag 5′ is pulled out, a portion of thebag roll 51′ is pulled out accordingly. When thewaste bag 5′ is detached, a portion of the end of thebag roll 51′ remains outside of thepouch body 10′ though the dispensing slit 41′, so next time, thenext waste bag 5′ will be easy to pull out. In the preferred embodiment, thewaste bags 5′ are prefabricated in a continuous sheet, the connection of every two bags are pre-punched or half cut so the waste bags can be detached from the sheet. - Referring to
FIG. 5B , in the second embodiment, thewaste bags 5′ are rolled into abag roll 52′ wherein each bag is rolled into the bag roll with a portion overlapped with the previous and the next bags. So when onewaste bag 5′ is pulled out from the dispensing slit 41′, a portion of the next bag is pulled out too, and thebag roll 52′ is rolled inside thebag cavity 14′ accordingly. - In order to smaller the width of the waste bags to save space, all bags are tree-folded. So in both embodiments, the width of the bag roll is one third of the real width of the waste bags.
- Each
waste bag 5′ further comprises anopening 53′, abag wall 54′, and a sealing slit 55′ for sealing thewaste bag 5′ easily. Referring toFIG. 6 , the sealing slit 55′ is cut in U-shape on thebag wall 54′ near theopening 53′ of thewaste bag 5′. Theupper edge 551′ of the sealing slit 55′ can be lift up to make a through hole on thebag wall 53′. When thewaste bag 5′ needs to be sealed, the edge of theopening 53′ which is opposite to the sealing slit 55′ is pulled through the sealing slit 55′ from one side to another, then theopening 53′ of thewaste bag 5′ is squeezed and sealed. The sealing slit 55′ holds the edge of theopening 53′ for fastening. In this way, no other fasteners, such as rubber band, thread, or clamps are needed for sealing thewaste bag 5′. - Referring to
FIGS. 8 and 9 of the drawings, a waste bag dispenser of another embodiment illustrates an alternative mode of the above embodiment, wherein the waste bag dispenser comprises apouch body 10A and a bag dispenser 40A. Accordingly, the waste bags dispenser is designed for a roll of rectangular shaped bags, such as a roll of pet waste bag, such that the waste bags can easily be dispensed continuously. In particular, the pulling portion of the waste bag is defined as a front end portion thereof, wherein the pulling portion of the subsequent waste bag is overlapped with the rear end portion of the first preceding waste bag. - The
pouch body 10A comprises asurrounding wall 11A defining abag cavity 14A therein, anopening 15A provided at the surroundingwall 11A for receiving a roll of the waste bags in thebag cavity 14A through theopening 15A, such that the waste bags can be refilled into thebag cavity 14A through theopening 15A. - The bag dispenser 40A is adapted for allowing the waste bags to be dispensed out of the
bag cavity 14A, such that the waste bags can be pulled out of thebag cavity 14A one by one without having to use both hands to hold on to the waste bag dispenser to reach the waste bags in thebag cavity 14A, allowing a user to effortlessly utilize the waste bags, when he/she might not have both hands free. - The bag dispenser 40A has a dispensing slit 41A transversely provided at a front side of the surrounding
wall 11A of thepouch body 10A for dispensing the waste bags out of thebag cavity 14A, wherein the dispensing slit 41A defines anupper edge 411A and alower edge 412A extending edge-to-edge in such a manner that the upper andlower edges slit 41A are arranged for holding the pulling portion of the first waste bag therebetween so as to allow the first waste bag being pulled out of thebag cavity 14A through the dispensingslit 41A. Accordingly the upper andlower edges slit 41A are extended close enough for holding the pulling portion of the subsequent waste bag when the first waste bag is pulled out of the pouch body 20A through the dispensingslit 41A. - As shown in
FIG. 8 , thepouch body 10A forms in a cylindrical shape, wherein thepouch body 10A further comprises twosidewalls 12A affixed to the surroundingwall 11A to form a cylindrical configuration for receiving the roll of waste bags. According to the preferred embodiment, theopening 15A is formed at one of a top side and a rear side of the surroundingwall 11A, wherein theopening 15A has a width longer than a width of the dispensingslit 41A. Therefore, the waste bags can be easily disposed in thebag cavity 14A through theopening 15A and can be held by the dispensingslit 41A during dispensing process. - In order to ensure that the
opening 15A is to remain closed, the waste bag dispenser has a fastening means 30A for selectively opening and closing theopening 15A, so as to enclose thebag cavity 14A and retain the waste bags therein. - The fastening means 30A comprises a fastener provided at the
opening 15A. Accordingly, the fastener is a zipper provided at two corresponding opening edges of theopening 15A such that the user is able to open theopening 15A via the fastener to access the waste bags and to close theopening 15A to enclose the waste bags. It is appreciated that the fastener can be embodied as hook and loop fasteners provided at the opening edges of theopening 15A. -
FIG. 10 illustrates an alternative mode of theopening 15B, wherein theopening 15B is formed at one of thesidewalls 12A. Accordingly, the fastening means 30B comprises an elastic strip formed around the opening edge of theopening 15B, wherein when the opening edge of theopening 15B is stretched outwardly, the waste bags can be placed in thebag cavity 14A through theopening 15B. It is appreciated that the fastening means 30B can be a zipper to detachably affix thesidewall 12A to the surrounding wall 11B, such that when thesidewall 12A is detached from the surroundingwall 11A, theopening 15B is formed for placing the waste bags in thebag cavity 15A. - According to the preferred embodiment, the dispensing
slit 41A is formed at the front side of thepouch body 10A, wherein a width of the dispensingslit 41A is smaller than a width of thepouch body 10A. Two side portions of theupper edge 411A are affixed to two side portions of thelower edge 412A respectively, preferably by stitching, to retain theupper edge 411A of the dispensingslit 41A being overlapped with thelower edge 412A thereof. - In order to form the dispensing slit 41A, the surrounding
wall 11A is made of a rectangular shaped fabric made pouch layer, wherein the pouch layer is folded in tubular shape that a first transverse edge portion of the pouch layer is overlapped with an opposed second transverse edge portion of the pouch layer, as shown inFIG. 9 . The side sections of the first transverse edge portion of the pouch layer are affixed to the side sections of the second transverse edge portion respectively. Therefore, theupper edge 411A of the dispensingslit 41A is formed at the first transverse edge portion of the pouch layer while thelower edge 412A of the dispensingslit 41A is formed at the second transverse edge portion of the pouch layer. - According to the preferred embodiment, each of the upper and
lower edges slit 41A is stiffer than the surroundingwall 11A not only for holding the pulling portion of the waste bag in position but also for retaining a shape of thepouch body 10A in a transverse direction. - As it is mentioned above, the upper and
lower edges slit 41A is formed by folding the pouch layer of the supportingwall 11A. In order to increase the stiffness of each of the upper andlower edges lower edges slit 41A is doubled to the thickness of the surroundingwall 11A, as shown inFIG. 9 . - In particular, the
upper edge 411A of the dispensingslit 41A is overlapped on thelower edge 412A thereof to define an overlapped holding flap not only for holding the pulling portion of the waste bag but also for guiding the waste bag being pulled out of thebag cavity 14A through the dispensingslit 41A. In other words, when the waste bag is pulled out from the dispensingslit 41A, the waste bag is guided to slide between the upper andlower edges slit 41A. Therefore, the pulling portion of the subsequent waste bag will be held between the upper andlower edges slit 41A. In addition, since theupper edge 411A of the dispensingslit 41A is overlapped on thelower edge 412A thereof, the pulling portion of the waste bag will be guided to extend downwardly. - It is worth mentioning that since the pulling portion of the subsequent waste bag is overlapped with the rear end portion of the first waste bag, such that when the first waste bag is pulled out of the
bag cavity 14A, the frictional force between the pulling portion of the subsequent waste bag and the rear end portion of the first waste bag will enable the pulling portion of the subsequent waste bag being pulled out of thebag cavity 14A. However, once the first waste bag is entirely pulled out of thebag cavity 14A, the holding force between the upper andlower edges slit 41A is larger than the frictional force between the first and subsequent waste bags, such that the pulling portion of the subsequent waste bag will be held between the upper andlower edges slit 41A. - Preferably, an
elongated holding element 60A is affixed along thelower edge 412A of the dispensing slit 41A at a position between the upper andlower edges slit 41A, wherein the holdingelement 60A is made of relatively high frictional material, such as rubber, to contact with the waste bag when the waste bag is pulled out from the dispensingslit 41A. Accordingly, once the first waste bag is pulled out of the dispensing slit 41A, the holdingelement 60A will contact with the bottom side of the pulling portion of the subsequent waste bag so as to ensure the pulling portion of the subsequent waste bag being securely held at the dispensingslit 41A. In other words, the subsequent waste bag will not be accidentally pulled out from the dispensing slit 41A when an excessive pulling force is applied to pull the first waste bag out of the dispensingslit 41A. - The waste bag dispenser further comprises a
pouch carrier 50A provided for thepouch body 10A be carried around. Thepouch carrier 50A enables the user to link the waste bags dispenser to a foreign object which allows the user to easily obtain a waste bag from the waste bags dispenser without having to hold on to the waste bag dispenser. - The
pouch carrier 50A comprises acarrier strap 51A and afastener element 52A provided on thecarrier strap 51A in such a manner that two free ends 511A of thecarrier strap 51A are detachably attached to form a carry loop for thepouch body 10A to be carried. - One skilled in the art will understand that the embodiment of the present invention as shown in the drawings and described above is exemplary only and not intended to be limiting.
- It will thus be seen that the objects of the present invention have been fully and effectively accomplished. It embodiments have been shown and described for the purposes of illustrating the functional and structural principles of the present invention and is subject to change without departure from such principles. Therefore, this invention includes all modifications encompassed within the spirit and scope of the following claims.
