A retractable pulling rod control device, wherein, a concave portion and a through hole are provided on a plug, and a link piece is disposed on said concave portion, such that said link piece is provided with a plurality of protrusion portions exposed outside said through hole; and a first and a second T-shaped link pieces are installed in said through hole and are fastened to each other, said first T-shaped link piece is provided with a first protrusion block, and said second T-shaped link piece is provided with a groove and a second protrusion block, said protrusion portion is fastened correspondingly to said groove, and said protrusion portion is able to slide in said groove in bringing said first and said second T-shaped link pieces into motion in said through hole, hereby achieving the effect of controlling the extension and retraction of each section of a pulling rod.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a pulling rod control device, and in particular to a retractable pulling rod control device that is capable of controlling the extension and retraction of a luggage trunk pulling rod.
  • 2. The Prior Arts
  • Nowadays, due to the prosperous and extensive business activities brought about by the rapid economic growth, and fast and convenient mass transportation systems, therefore, people are able to travel to various places around the world to engage in business activities by means of various transportation means, such as vehicle, high-speed train, passenger liner, or airplane. As such, while in the process of traveling or going on a business errand, luggage trunk is utilized to carry personal items of daily usage. In order to facilitate dragging and lifting the luggage trunk while travelling, the pulling rod of ordinary luggage trunk is designed to be retractable.
  • By way of example, Taiwan Patent Number 524071 disclosed a fastening and locking device for a multi-section luggage trunk pulling rod. Wherein, a luggage trunk retractable pulling rod structure is disclosed, and the pulling rod provided with a fastening and locking device for positioning is disposed in a pulling rod device for fastening the section tubes, so as to control the extension and retraction of the section tube. However, the structure of this kind of device is quite complicated, and its assembly is rather difficult, such that the fastening and positioning effects are not satisfactory when exercising extension and retraction of the section tubes.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • In view of the problems and shortcomings of the prior art, the present invention proposes a retractable pulling rod control device, of which the link structure is simple, and its fastening and positioning are accurate and precise.
  • A major objective of the present invention is to provide a retractable pulling rod control device, wherein a link piece can be pressed down to actuate the retraction of the second steel bead, such that each section of pulling rod can be extended and retracted, hereby achieving its fairly simple and convenient application.
  • Another objective of the present invention is to provide a retractable pulling rod control device, that is simple in structure, light weight, thin profile, compact size, and that can be assembled to the pulling rod structure easily, therefore, it is quite practical in application.
  • In order to achieve the above mentioned objective, the present invention provides a retractable pulling rod control device, comprising: a plug, a pushing piece, a first T-shaped link piece, and a second T-shaped link piece. Wherein, a concave portion and a through hole are provided on the plug; the concave portion is used to receive and install the pushing piece, and the pushing piece is provided with a plurality of protrusion portions and are exposed to the through hole; the first T-shaped link piece is provided with a first protrusion block, the second T-shaped link piece is connected to the first T-shaped link piece, and are both received and installed in the through hole, the second T-shaped link piece is provided with a second protrusion block and a plurality of grooves, and a protrusion portion of the pushing piece is fastened to the groove correspondingly, such that the protrusion portion is able to glide in the groove in bringing the first T-shaped link piece and the second T-shaped link piece to move in the through hole.
  • Further scope of the applicability of the present invention will become apparent from the detailed descriptions given hereinafter. However, it should be understood that the detailed descriptions and specific examples, while indicating preferred embodiments of the present invention, are given by way of illustration only, since various changes and modifications within the spirit and scope of the present invention will become apparent to those skilled in the art from this detailed descriptions.

  • The related drawings in connection with the detailed descriptions of the present invention to be made later are described briefly as follows, in which:
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a structure of a retractable pulling rod control device according to the present invention;

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • The purpose, construction, features, functions and advantages of the present invention can be appreciated and understood more thoroughly through the following detailed description with reference to the attached drawings.
  • The present invention provides a retractable pulling rod control device, wherein, the first T-shaped link piece and the second T-shaped link piece can be brought into retracting into the through hole of a plug by pressing down a push button on a pushing piece, so as to realize the action of extending and retracting the pulling rod. In the following, the technical characteristics of the present invention will be described with reference to the Preferred Embodiment.
  • Refer to FIG. 1 for a perspective view of a structure of a retractable pulling rod control device according to the present invention, also refer to FIG. 2 for an exploded view of a structure of a retractable pulling rod control device according to the present invention. As shown in FIGS. 1 & 2, a concave portion 12 and a through hole 14 are provided on the plug 10, and a ∩ (inverted-U) shaped pushing piece 16 is installed in the concave portion 12, this pushing piece 16 is provided with a plurality of protrusion portions 18 located in the through hole 14. The first T-shaped link piece 20 is composed of a first spring 24 and a first T-shaped steel bead 26, the first T-shaped steel bead 26 is provided with a first protrusion block 22, a second spring 44 is installed in the first protrusion block 22 connected to the first T-shaped link piece 20; and the second T-shaped link piece 28 is connected to the first T-shaped link piece 20. The second T-shaped link piece 28 is provided with an opening 34, a second protrusion 30, and a plurality of grooves 32 in a slant direction, such that the first T-shaped link piece 20 and the second spring 44 installed thereon are able to penetrate together into the opening 34 of the second T-shaped link piece 28, thus the first T-shaped link piece 20 is fastened to the second T-shaped link piece 28, and the protrusion portion 18 of the pushing piece 16 is fastened correspondingly to the groove 32 of the second T-shaped link piece 28. When the pushing piece 16 is pressed down, the protrusion portion 18 is made to glide in groove 32, thus bringing the second T-shaped link piece 28 into retracting into the through hole 14, and compressing the first spring 24 and the second spring 44 at the same time in bringing the first T-shaped link piece 20 into motion.
  • In the above descriptions, the structure of retractable pulling rod control device has been described. In the following, the action and process will be described concerning when the pushing piece 16 is pressed down, it will bring the second T-shaped link piece 28 into retracting into the through hole, thus bringing the first T-shaped link piece 20 into motion accordingly.
  • Then, refer to FIGS. 3( a) & 3(b) for a side view and a cross section view respectively of a structure of a retractable pulling rod control device according to the present invention when the link piece is not pressed down; also refer to FIGS. 4( a) & 4(b) for a side view and a cross section view respectively of a structure of a retractable pulling rod control device according to the present invention when the link piece is pressed down. As shown in the drawings mentioned above, when the pushing piece 16 is not subject to an outside force in pushing it to move downward, the pushing piece 16 is located at the concave portion 12 of the plug 10, such that the protrusion portion 18 of the pushing piece 16 is fastened to a top end of a slant groove 32 of the second T-shaped link piece 28, and the second protrusion block 30 is exposed outside the through hole 14, and the first T-shaped link piece 20 is received and installed in the through hole 14, thus it does not protrude outside the through hole 14. When the pushing piece 16 is subjected to an outside force and moves gradually downward, the protrusion portion 18 of the pushing piece 16 then moves from the top end of the slant groove 32 to its bottom end, thus bringing the second T-shaped link piece 28 to move and retract into the through hole 14. Meanwhile, the first spring 24 is compressed gradually, while the second spring 44 is extended gradually, and at the same time bringing the first T-shaped link piece 20 to move backward along the through hole 14.
  • When the pushing piece 16 is pressed down to the bottom of the concave portion 12, its protrusion portion 18 slides to the bottom end of the groove 32, thus the second protrusion block 30 retracts completely into the through hole 14 , therefore, one end of the first T-shaped link piece 20 is exposed at the other side of the thorough hole 14. When releasing the downward force applied on the pushing piece 16, the first T-shaped link piece 20 and the second T-shaped link piece 28 will bounce back by means of the spring force of the first spring 24 and the second spring 44, hereby bringing the pushing piece 16 back to its position before it is pressed down.
  • Finally, refer to FIG. 5 for a perspective view of a structure of a retractable pulling rod control device according to the present invention when it is assembled to a retractable pulling rod. As shown in FIG. 5, a plug 10 is connected to a first tube body 36 by means of a pin 38, on the first tube body is provided with a push button 42, that is installed at and is linked to the pushing piece 16 of the plug 10; the second tube body 40 is sleeved on and connected to the first tube body 36, and is wrapped around the plug 10, such that it is fastened to the second protrusion block 30 of the second T-shaped link piece 28. Upon pressing down the push button 42, the pushing piece 16 is pushed down, thus the second protrusion block 30 will retract inward and will not be fastened to the second tube body 40, such that the first tube body 36 is able to slide and extend or retract along the second tube body 40; when releasing, the pressed down push button 42, the second protrusion block 30 will bounce out to fasten to the second tube body 40, thus fixing the retractable pulling rod to a certain height.
  • Through the application of the retractable pulling rod control device of the present invention, such that when it is desired to extend or retract the pulling rod of the luggage trunk, a push button on the pulling rod can be pressed down to actuate the pushing piece 16 on the plug 10, thus activating the retraction of the second bead 28, and realizing easily the extension/retraction of each section of the pulling rod. Therefore, the characteristics of the present invention are that the retractable pulling rod control device is simple in its structure, and it can be assembled easily to the retractable pulling rod, thus it is quite practical in its application.

However, the preferred embodiments disclosed above are not intended to be any restrictions to the scope of the present invention. Conversely, its purpose is to include the various changes and equivalent arrangements which are within the scope of the appended claims.

Claims (9)

1. A retractable pulling rod control device, comprising
a plug, having a concave portion and a through hole disposed thereon;
a pushing piece, disposed in said concave portion, and is provided with a plurality of protrusion portions, and said protrusion portions are exposed outside said through hole;
a first T-shaped link piece, received and installed in said through hole, and is provided with a first protrusion block; and
a second T-shaped link piece, connected to said first T-shaped link piece and is received and installed in said through hole, and is provided with a second protrusion block and a plurality of grooves, said protrusion portion of said pushing piece is fastened correspondingly to said groove, and said protrusion portion slides in said groove in bringing said second T-shaped link piece into moving in said thorough hole, thus bringing said first T-shaped link piece into motion.
2. The retractable pulling rod control device as claimed in claim 1, wherein said groove is disposed slantingly in said second T-shaped link piece.
3. The retractable pulling rod control device as claimed in claim 1, wherein said first T-shaped link piece includes a first spring and a first T-shaped steel bead, said first spring is sleeved around said first T-shaped steel bead, and are both disposed in said through hole.
4. The retractable pulling rod control device as claimed in claim 1, wherein said second T-shaped link piece is provided with an opening, such that said first T-shaped link piece penetrates into said opening, and is fastened and connected to said second T-shaped link piece.
5. The retractable pulling rod control device as claimed in claim 4, further comprising:
a second spring, installed on said first protrusion block, and is connected to said first T-shaped link piece, and it penetrates together with said first T-shaped link piece into said opening of said second T-shaped link piece.
6. The retractable pulling rod control device as claimed in claim 1, further comprising:
a first tube body, said plug is installed on said first tube body.
7. The retractable pulling rod control device as claimed in claim 6, further comprising:
a pin, said plug and said first tube body are connected by means of said pin.
8. The retractable pulling rod control device as claimed in claim 6, further comprising:
a second tube body, sleeved around and connected to said first tube body and is wrapped around said plug, and is fastened to said second protrusion block.
9. The retractable pulling rod control device as claimed in claim 6, further comprising:
a push button, installed on said first tube body, and is connected to said pushing piece.
