Description

    TECHNICAL FIELD
  • The present utility model relates to the field for selecting glasses, cups, punch bowls, pitchers, soup bowls, plates, bottles, mugs, jars, receptacles, pots, trays or any container and utensil used in the presentation of juices and cocktails, it particularly refers to a new device for dressing (decorating) any type of container and utensil generally used in juices and cocktails and more specifically it refers to a device decorating containers and utensils for juices and cocktails with pieces of fruit, vegetables or with various foods to enhance their appeal and to make consumers more likely to choose them.
  • BACKGROUND
  • The use of devices for decorating particularly a cup or a glass for serving juices or cocktails is generally known in the state of the art. The traditional use of straws, umbrellas and stirrers of various colors is very common in bars and restaurants, they confer a greater appeal to the cocktails that are served in cups or glasses and are more likely to be selected by the consumers in social gatherings of various kinds. Other devices which, in addition to being a decoration, are later used as toothpicks to pick the fruit in the cocktails, are also known.
  • However, none of them allows carrying decorations of fruits, vegetables or with various foods and presenting a generally more appealing presentation of the drinks, cocktails or containers since they are traditionally decorated with portions of fruits which are placed directly on the brims or edges of said glasses or cups which limit them from being able to be decorated with a wide variety of fruits at once.
  • Therefore, an objective of the present utility model is to provide a new device for decorating containers and utensils used in selected juices and cocktail which allows many advantages to enable a diversity of arrangements with fruits, vegetables or with various foods such as to enhance the appeal or to make consumers more likely to choose them, which device has not been disclosed or mentioned until now and which offers many new features that give rise to a new device to be used in cocktails which is neither provided, suggested, nor inferred from the state of the art related to this technical field.
  • Another objective of the present utility model is to provide a device which additionally serves for the owner of an establishment to be used as an element for advertisement purposes, to display the name or insignias thereof, etc., providing a means whereby the maximum benefits of the advertisement can be achieved.
  • A specific objective of the present utility model is to provide a device for decorating containers and utensils for selected juices and cocktails comprising a special configuration which allows carrying various decorations of fruits, vegetables or with various foods at once and a holding and fitting mechanism in said containers which offer at the same time arrangement versatility and safety when using it.
  • Another objective of the present utility model is to provide a new device for decorating containers and utensils for selected juices and cocktails that can be easily and efficiently manufactured and marketed.
  • A new objective of the present utility model is to provide a new device for decorating containers and utensils for selected juices and cocktails which has a durable and reliable construction.
  • Yet another objective of the present utility model is to provide a new device for decorating containers and utensils for selected juices and cocktails which is susceptible to a low manufacturing cost with respect to materials and work force, and which in consequence is susceptible to low selling prices to consumers, which allows said device to be economically available for the purchase of consumers.
  • Yet another objective of the present utility model is to provide a new device for decorating containers and utensils for selected juices and cocktails that can be conveniently used for advertisement.
  • These and other objectives of the present utility model, together with the various novel features that characterize it are particularly indicated in the claims and in the specification.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • The new device for decorating containers and utensils for selected juices and cocktails which allows many advantages to enable a diversity of arrangements with fruits, vegetables or with various foods at one such as to enhance the appeal or to make consumer more likely to choose them, has the following features:
  • It comprises a clip or grip dividing the device into two, in its position of use, on the upper edge of the clip having a closed U shape and following its curvature, it has in one and the same plane a set of elongated triangular surfaces ending in points; of a different size and spaced equidistantly, resembling a crest of a cockerel. Likewise, on one end of the U-shaped curvature it has a shaft (support) arranged perpendicular to both sides of the plane containing the elongated triangular surfaces which serves to afford greater rigidity to the clip during the use thereof. In the lower part of the clip and at one of its ends it has a triangular surface with curved sides the downward-facing base of which serves for placing any desired advertisement. An overall impression of the device resembles the physiognomy of the neck and head of a crested bird.
  • The clip or grip has therein notched surfaces which open towards the end where its curvature is located which allows it to be located in different types of containers or utensils of a different size, height and depth.
  • The elongated triangular surfaces of a different size are radially arranged, the one having the largest size is located in the central part thereof and is arranged perpendicular to the upper end of the clip exactly in its curvature area.
  • The present device for decorating containers and utensils for selected juices and cocktails is manufactured in a single piece and materials such as PVC, cardboard or any flexible material can be used for that purpose.
  • By means of using a clip and fitting means, the placement of the device on the containers and utensils for selected juices and cocktails is rigid and secured solidly to the brim of any laminated glass or crystal during the use thereof. Due to this features the depth of the glass or crystal of the container or utensil becomes insignificant because the manufacture thereof is designed to make room for different containers or utensils without affecting or jeopardizing the function of the area for advertisement since its configuration allows it to be used in different positions desired or in the position that is most advantageous for displaying the advertisement.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES OR DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the device for decorating containers and utensils used for juices and cocktails where the clip or grip with its downward-facing inner notched surfaces can be seen in its central part. The elongated triangular surfaces ending in points, of a different size and spaced equidistantly, resembling a crest of a bird, which serve for inserting any type of fruit or vegetables and for decorating the containers and utensils is observed in the upper area; and a triangular surface with curved sides the downward-facing base of which serves for placing any desired advertisement is observed in the lower area adjacent to one end of the clip or grip.
  • FIG. 2 is a top-down plan view of the device for decorating containers and utensils used for juices and cocktails where the perpendicular arrangement of the shaft or support of the clip or grip on the plane of the elongated triangular surfaces and its location on a container in its position of use on the curved end of the U-shaped clip or grip which allows greater stability, is observed.
  • FIG. 3 is a side view of the device for decorating containers and utensils used for juices and cocktails where the extension of the shaft or support which is perpendicular to the plane of the elongated triangular surfaces can be observed.
  • ADVANTAGES IN RELATION TO KNOWN TRADITIONAL DEVICES
  • It enables a diversity of arrangements with fruits, vegetables or with various foods such that it allows enhancing the appeal or makes consumers more likely to choose them.
  • The special features of the clip and fitting means allow the firm placement thereof on containers or utensils for selected cocktails, secured solidly to the brim of any laminated glass during the use thereof.
  • Due to the previous advantage it can be used in any type of container or utensil regardless of its height and the thickness of the brim of the glass or crystal.
  • The functional features of the device do not affect or jeopardize the function of the area for advertisement since its configuration allows it to be used in the position that is most advantageous for displaying the advertisement regardless of the height of the container or utensil and of the thickness of the crystal.
