Abstract
A mesh filter compact is provided. The mesh filter compact includes a body a first positioning member, a filter member, a second positioning member, and an upper cover. The body is configured with a primary receiving recess. The body includes a plurality of fixing plates disposed in the primary receiving recess and a plurality of engaging grooves configured at sidewalls of the primary receiving recess. The first positioning member contains face powders therein, and is positioned inside the primary receiving recess and is engaged by the fixing plates for being secured thereto. The first positioning member is such positioned for restraining the filter member in position from the front, rear, left and right sides. The filter member includes a filter having a plurality of meshes. The filter member is disposed over the first positioning member and is flatly laid on the face powders contained in the first positioning member.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates generally to a mesh filter compact, and more particularly, to a mesh filter compact adapted for saving the consumption of face powders stored in the mesh filter compact.
- 2. The Prior Arts
- As the society is developing, more and more ladies prefer to put on makeup before going out. The age that the ladies start to use cosmetics becomes much earlier than before. In further consideration of the variation of environment and climate, modern people usually prefer to apply some measurement for sunscreen or UV protection. A most normal measurement is to apply some sunscreen cream onto the face.

FIG. 1 illustrates a conventional mesh filter compact for containing face powders. Referring toFIG. 1 , the conventional mesh filter compact includes abody 20, apowder container 21, apositioning member 22, and anupper cover 14. Thebody 20 is configured with a receiving recess (not shown in the drawing), for embeddedly securing thepowder container 21 therein. Thepowder container 21 containsface powders 211. Thepositioning member 22 is disposed over thepower container 21, and is engaged to thebody 20 for securing thepowder container 21 inside the receiving recess of thebody 20. Theupper cover 14 includes a hinge configured at one side thereof. The hinge of theupper cover 14 is adapted for pivotally coupling theupper cover 14 with thebody 20. When theface powders 211 are not being used, theupper cover 14 is laid over thebody 20 for protecting theface powders 211 contained inside thepowder container 21. -
FIG. 2 illustrates the operation of using the conventional mesh filter compact as shown inFIG. 1 . Referring toFIG. 2 , a user uses apowder puff 30 to take theface powders 211 for subsequently applying theface powders 211 to her face. During the entire makeup process, the user may have to apply theface powders 211 for multiple times. However, the force that the user used in each time of taking theface powder 211 with thepowder puff 30 may vary. As such, thepowder puff 30 may be stuck withexcessive face powders 211. Suchexcessive face powders 211 are often wasted. When thepowder container 21 is used for a certain period, a dead area often occurs as shown inFIG. 2 . Theface powders 211 positioned at edges or corners of thepowder container 21 are usually inconvenient for the user to take with thepowder puff 30. As such, theface powders 211 remaining at the edges or corners of thepowder container 21 are not easy to be effectively used, and may cause undesirable waste. - A primary objective of the present invention is to provide a mesh filter compact adapted for saving face powders contained therein and reducing the amount of the unused residue of the face powders.
- Accordingly, for achieving the foregoing objective of the present invention and providing a solution to the disadvantage of the conventional mesh filter compact as discussed above, the present invention provides a mesh filter compact including a body, a first positioning member, a filter member, a second positioning member, and an upper cover.
- The body is configured with a primary receiving recess. The body includes a plurality of fixing plates disposed in the primary receiving recess and a plurality of engaging grooves configured at sidewalls of the primary receiving recess. The first positioning member contains face powders therein, and is positioned inside the primary receiving recess and is engaged by the fixing plates for being secured thereto. The first positioning member is such positioned for restraining the filter member in position from the front, rear, left and right sides. The filter member includes a filter having a plurality of meshes. The filter member is disposed over the first positioning member and is flatly laid on the face powders contained in the first positioning member. When the powder puff is used to take the face powders positioned under the filter, the filter is positioned between the powder puff and the face powders, such that the powder puff is allowed to take the face powders via the meshes, and the filter prevents the powder puff from taking excessive face powders.
- When the mesh filter compact is used for a certain period, a part of the face powders contained therein are consumed. Accordingly, the upper level of the face powders correspondingly lowers, and the filter member also lowers together with the upper level of the face powders. The second positioning member is a frame disposed over the filter member for restricting upward or downward displacement of the filter member. The second positioning member includes a plurality of engaging plates configured positionally corresponding to the engaging grooves of the primary receiving recess. When the second positioning member is assembled to the primary receiving recess, the engaging plates are correspondingly engaged with the engaging grooves, so as to secure the second positioning member to the primary receiving recess while restricting the upward or downward displacement of the filter member. The upper cover is a cover member having a hinge configured at one side thereof. The hinge of the upper cover is adapted for pivotally coupling the upper cover with the body for protecting the face powders.

FIG. 7 illustrates the operation of the mesh filter compact of the present invention; and -
FIG. 8 further illustrates the operation of the mesh filter compact of the present invention. - The accompanying drawings are included to provide a further understanding of the invention, and are incorporated in and constitute a part of this specification. The drawing illustrates embodiments of the invention and, together with the description, serves to explain the principles of the invention.

FIG. 4 is a perspective view illustrating a mesh filter compact according to an embodiment of the present invention.FIG. 5 is an exploded view of the mesh filter compact according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring toFIGS. 4 and 5 , the present invention provides a mesh filter compact including abody 10, afirst positioning member 11, afilter member 12, asecond positioning member 13, and anupper cover 14. - The
body 10 is configured with aprimary receiving recess 101. Thebody 10 includes a plurality offixing plates 103 disposed in the primary receiving recess and a plurality ofengaging grooves 102 configured at sidewalls of theprimary receiving recess 101. Preferably, thefixing plates 103 are mainly distributed on periphery of a bottom of theprimary receiving recess 101, and more preferably, thefixing plates 103 are distributed at four corners of theprimary receiving recess 101. Theengaging grooves 102 are preferred to be configured on inner side walls of theprimary receiving recess 101. Thefirst positioning member 11 contains face powders therein, and is positioned inside theprimary receiving recess 101 and is engaged by thefixing plates 103 for being secured thereto. Thefirst positioning member 11 is such positioned for restraining thefilter member 12 in position from the front, rear, left and right sides. Thefilter member 12 includes afilter 121 having a plurality of meshes. Thefilter member 12 is disposed between thefirst positioning member 11 and thesecond positioning member 13. Thefilter member 12 is positioned over thefirst positioning member 11 and is flatly laid on theface powders 111 contained in thefirst positioning member 11. In such a way, thefilter 121 is substantially floating on an upper level of theface powders 111. - The
second positioning member 13 is a frame disposed above thefilter member 12 for restricting upward or downward displacement of thefilter member 12. Thesecond positioning member 13 includes a plurality of engagingplates 131 configured positionally corresponding to the engaginggrooves 102 of thebody 10. When thesecond positioning member 13 is assembled to theprimary receiving recess 11, the engagingplates 131 are correspondingly engaged with the engaginggrooves 102, so as to secure thesecond positioning member 13 to thebody 10 while restricting the upward or downward displacement of thefilter member 12. - The
upper cover 14 is a cover member having a hinge configured at one side thereof. The hinge of theupper cover 14 is adapted for pivotally coupling theupper cover 14 with thebody 10 for protecting theface powders 111. -
FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional side view of the mesh filter compact according to an embodiment of the present invention.FIG. 7 illustrates the operation of the mesh filter compact of the present invention.FIG. 8 further illustrates the operation of the mesh filter compact of the present invention. Referring toFIGS. 6 , 7 and 8, when apowder puff 30 is used to take theface powders 111 positioned under thefilter 121, thefilter 121 is positioned between the powder puff and theface powders 111, such that thepowder puff 30 is allowed to take theface powders 111 via the meshes, and thefilter 121 prevents the powder puff from takingexcessive face powders 111. When a certain amount of theface powders 111 is used out so that the upper level of theface powders 111 lowers, thefilter 121 lowers together with the upper level of theface powders 111. Further, when thepowder puff 30 is used to take theface powders 111, thefilter 121 is adapted for uniformly applying a pressure on all of theface powders 111 contained in thefirst positioning member 11, so thatface powders 111 distributed in corners or edges of thefirst positioning member 11 can be driven to move inwardly. In such a way, the waste of face powders distributed in the corners or edges of conventional the mesh filter compact can be eliminated. - Although the present invention has been described with reference to the preferred embodiments thereof, it is apparent to those skilled in the art that a variety of modifications and changes may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention which is intended to be defined by the appended claims.
Claims (7)
1. A mesh filter compact, comprising:
a body, comprising:
a primary receiving recess;
a plurality of fixing plates, distributed in the primary receiving recess; and
a plurality of engaging grooves configured on inner side walls of the primary receiving recess;
a first positioning member, being received in the primary receiving recess, containing face powders therein, and being secured to the body by the fixing plates;
a second positioning member comprising a plurality of engaging plates configured positionally corresponding to the engaging grooves of the body; and
a filter member comprising a filter having a plurality of meshes, wherein the filter member is positioned between the first positioning member and the second positioning member, and is substantially attached to an upper level of the face powders contained in the first positioning member and is allowed to downwardly move together with the upper level of the face powders when a quantity of the face powders contained in the first positioning member is reduced.
2. The mesh filter compact as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the body is round-shaped or rectangular shaped.
3. The mesh filter compact as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the primary receiving recess is round shaped, half round shaped, or rectangular shaped.
4. The mesh filter compact as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the first positioning member is correspondingly shaped in accordance with a shape for the primary receiving recess for being embedded therein.
5. The mesh filter compact as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the filter member is correspondingly shaped in accordance with the first positioning member for being adapted to be disposed on the first positioning member.
6. The mesh filter compact as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a size of the filter member is slightly smaller than a size of the first positioning member.
7. The mesh filter compact as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the filter member is allowed for upward and downward displacement within a space defined in the first positioning member.
