Abstract

The Mouthpiece Tooth Brush is made of pliable silicone or plastic with spinning bristles located in the top and bottom of the mouthpiece. This is run with a small lithium battery located in the top and bottom of the mouthpiece, inconspicuous to the human eye, and is rechargeable. The small spinning bristles are activated when you bit into the mouthpiece to brush the teeth. There is also an optional tongue and roof brush. This device is comes in different sizes to accommodate everyone. This is a hands free device that can be used by the elderly, someone with physical disabilities or for someone “on the go”. This will be great for hospitals and nursing homes.

Description

  • The Mouthpiece Toothbrush is a hands-free toothbrush designed to fit entirely inside the mouth and clean the teeth, tongue and roof of the mouth with the use of spinning bristles.
  • It will: clean the users mouth and teeth, may be used by anyone unable to manipulate a standard toothbrush, is ideal for the elderly or those with physical disabilities, or it can be used by those who travel and need a quick and convenient way to brush their teeth.
  • The mouthpiece toothbrush slips into the mouth and fits the contour of an individual's teeth. The top and bottom bristles spin to clean both the upper and lower teeth. Batteries that are rechargeable operate this devise.
  • The mouthpiece is made of pliable silicone or plastic, much like the athletic mouthpiece used in sporting activities, with spinning bristles in both the bottom and top part strung along a wire, which will activate the bristles when the mouthpiece is closed. There is a small batter compartment built into the bottom and top of the mouthpiece and is inconspicuous to the human eye.
  • The Mouthpiece Toothbrush will come in various sizes. When not in use, it can be kept in its own container for sanitary purposes.

Claims (9)

1. The mouthpiece tooth brush is a hands free device that is used for cleaning the teeth and mouth of the user: this device is made of pliable silicone or plastic; mounting rods hold the circular soft rotating bristles in the upper and lower casing; the toothbrush is run by rechargeable batteries; there is a roof and tongue brush which is optional; there is a compartment that will hold tooth paste; this can be made in different sizes to accommodate all different shapes and sizes; can be used by the elderly, physically handicapped or anyone that is challenged to hold a toothbrush.
2. The mouthpiece according to claim 1, this is a hands-free device used for cleaning the teeth, tongue and roof of the mouth.
3. The mouthpiece according to claim 1, the mouthpiece is made of pliable silicone or plastic.
4. The mouthpiece according to claim 1, the mounting rods hold the circulating soft rotating bristles in the upper and lower casing.
5. The mouthpiece according to claims 1, the toothbrush is run by rechargeable batteries.
6. The mouthpiece according to claim 1, there is a roof and tongue brush that can be attached or is an option.
7. The mouthpiece according to claim 1, there is a compartment that holds the toothpaste.
8. The mouthpiece according to claim 1, the mouthpiece comes in different sizes to accommodate all different sizes.
9. The mouthpiece according to claim 1, this can be used by the elderly, physically handicapped or anyone that is physically challenged in holding a toothbrush.
